Friday 13th was the fateful day when my laptop would not restart normally. It had crashed before…read moredozens of times in the past year but never like this. No matter which type of safe mode I selected, Windows wouldn't start up properly. The timing of the computer crash couldn't have been better, I was just about to save files onto a flash drive before a job interview when it went kah-put. What a day! With cautious optimism, I went for a second opinion. Jeff explained to me that the software they had for computer diagnostics performed wonders. Given the demand, I was told it would be a day or two before the computer doctor could diagnose and treat my laptop. I entrusted my laptop to them. And my boyfriend reassured me that my laptop was in safe hands. I waited anxiously. Oh how I dreaded the thought of all the files I had not saved and all the files I would have to recreate. A few days later, I received the prognostic for my computer. I thanked my lucky stars as soon as I heard that I would be able to regain my data. Two days after the diagnostic testing, my computer was released from the computer hospital as good as new. I am so happy to have my laptop back. I was this [........] close to hugging my laptop goodbye. I also learned that all those times I had rested my laptop on pillows, blankets, and other soft surfaces, I was allowing fibers to enter my computer and blocking air from entering my computer. I was lucky my fan hadn't demised too. My computer is a survivor. We have lots of good times ahead of us. And I owe it all to The Computer Fixers! Guess what...I don't care. Why is an off site customer more important than a customer that brought in their PC? When I got it home my e-mail was gone, as were other programs. I finally sent a poision e-mail to their contact info threatening to do a blog or picket outside their business and actually got a call back. I was told they were sorry for not getting back to me, could I bring it back? I took the PC back to them for restoration but all they could recover was my pictures, thank God, and my e-mail. Some other programs..gone. Brought PC back home, had another issue, called, left message x2. Never got a call back. So I took it to another shop right in town and they fixed me up.
