Was looking for a snack so decided to split a sandwich. Inside was cute little market with lots of items to build a charcuterie board. No seating indoors but some tables and chairs outside. My friend and I got the South-West Acton. It took about 10-15 minutes to be made. I loved everything about this sandwich! It was delicious! The bread was crispy. The turkey was delicious along with the cheese and mayo. So yummy! I do think this sandwich was a little small for $16. But overall so good and the other sandwiches sounded good too.

We went back the next day and tried more of the menu and enjoyed everything we tried - DEFINITELY try the meatballs if you can! Husband said it was THE BEST ITALIAN that he has EVER had! The people working there were really nice and let us eat there until 8. It is cute inside, with limited seating. They also have picnic tables outside. They sell wine, pasta, sauces, coffee beans, ice cream, etc. some from local companies/vendors. It's a fun place to browse. Their chicken sandwiches are good, but I always get a bowl with either chicken thighs or steak. They have excellent sauces and the food here is really good, albeit a bit on the saltier side. The clam chowder is nice and hearty. I also really like their drinks, including the strawberry rhubarb one and the lemonade.

Their fried chicken sandwiches can all be made with plant-based chicken, which suits my current situation. Such a cute building also. Great place, and the staff were super nice as well.

Their bread is still some of the best around, and their staff are great. Ever since they rebuilt their entrance to be in the back, you have had a walk through a very unattractive alleyway that was used for trucks picking up the trash before it was converted to the entrance, and honestly, it has barely been converted. Today I got a chocolate chip cookie, and it was essentially flavorless. If you are looking for good bread, this is definitely your spot, but if you're trying to find anything else, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this **Replying to the owner** I seriously don't understand owners and employees on yelp who play victim when it comes to negative reviews. The customer had a negative experience, they describe it truthfully on yelp. Yes, the 3 star review negatively impacts the business, but ultimately, that's how reviews work, and you should take negative reviews as constructive criticism, and reply apologetically and constructively instead of being rude and defensive. As they say, customer is king. To your point that I didn't review your main menu focus sandwiches, despite your fact that a large portion of your building is dedicated to making bread, and no real area for putting together sandwiches. Either way, it wouldn't matter, the cookie I had was not great, and I reviewed accordingly. Responding to negative reviews in a defensive and rude way steers customers away from your establishment almost as much as a negative review does, if not more.

Chocolate Croissant: Not warm at opening, not flaky or fluffy enough, but very buttery (not greasy) and high quality dark chocolate. Blueberry Muffin: Despite having neither much of a dome nor noteworthy blueberries, a very good muffin. Nice flavor to the dough and good texture, heightened by the streusel. I like how they added a little salt to the streusel without going overboard. Egg Sandwich: My wife's item, with avocado instead of meat, looked good to me. She thought the roll was too dense. I had a Cesar salad that had chunks of the ends of the lettuce - annoying. And whatever seasoning that was on the chicken didn't go with the vibe of the salad and was dry as a bone. My friend ordered seared scallops which came thrown on top of a cartoon like pile of fries. She didn't have time to complain because the waitress was out to ask us how it was before we had a bite (the runner brought the food). When she finally came back to ask if we needed boxes - my friend explained the issues with the inedible scallops. The waitress said the owner was there and would come talk to us. The owner didn't come out, a manager never came, and the waitress dropped the bill off and walked away. Toppings (sausage and mushroom) were few and far between, especially the mushrooms which were almost nonexistent. Toppings, sauce, and cheese came only half-way to the edge, just dough after that. Top was way over-browned to the point where the cheese was disagreeably chewy. And I'm not sure if this was meant to be a thin-crust or a deep-dish pizza because it was both: thin in the middle half and three times thicker in parts of the outer half. Obviously whoever prepared this has no clue to how to do it properly. The ONLY good thing I can say about this mess is the dough itself was fresh and had a good texture. It wasn't just one. We were a group of 5 and ordered 3 pizzas. Everybody agreed they were bad. They should be ashamed to serve these. Didn't anybody notice leaving the kitchen they were unservable? So I would never consider here for take-out. But we were here for trivia night so maybe I'd try again to have something to eat while playing? But next time if they come out like that I'd be refusing delivery and demanding a new one - that's for sure. As far as the trivia, I might not return for that either. The room was very loud from the crowd, and the announcer's microphone never did work properly so it was very hard to hear. And, knowing how many good wines and beers they sell in the general store on the first floor, it is painful to have a choice of just 5 very generic wines upstairs. Why can't they offer all the wines from downstairs, with a reasonable mark-up for restaurant purchase of course?
