I've dined at Benito's several times and the food and service are always excellent, but this time we hosted a ladies luncheon celebrating a friends birthday. From planning out the event with the help of Virginia, to the food and beverage service we were all impressed!! We had plenty of space in our room and it looked so nice. We had dinner at Benito's on a Saturday, busy but we were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and friendly. The kitchen was slow but we understand weekends are busy. Our meals were good but very pricey for what you are getting. I enjoyed the chicken piccata and my boyfriend had the baked haddock. The only thing that went poorly was the Paloma mocktail-- it was not advertised as a spicy/smoky drink. The mocktail was more expensive than my boyfriend's old fashioned. Being new to the area, I was looking for a good restaurant that had a quality menu which included Italian food. Cruising through the downtown area I noticed Benito's and the outside dining area and lights caught my eye. Parking was free and there was no wait at 530 PM on a fall Friday night. The menu had an excellent selection of Italian cuisine and were priced competitively. The service was excellent offering cold water in a refillable glass bottle which was not tap water And the softest bread with oil and Parmesan cheese to dip in. Excellent selection of appetizer as well as a great drink menu. Now, I am a chicken parm guy and require a quality seasoned piece of chicken, a thick chunky marinara and either linguine or spaghetti that is cooked to perfection. Benito's hit the mark on point with this dish. One of the best Chicken Parm meals I have had EVER!!! Wife had the Fra Diavolo which was a bit spicy but the way the haddock was cooked, really was perfection. If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant in the Leominster area, this is your place. I will be going back. Two quality dishes and an appetizer for $75 with excellent service, you need to visit Benito's if this is what you are looking for. read more

First time going. we brought my mom for her bday .. The services was excellent !!!! Our waitress was always there when needed and also the manager or could have been owner ( wish i asked ) she was very attentive . The food was amazing from the starters , muscles , shrimp scampi, and . arancini balls ( the italian rice balls ) those were to die for !!!! I got the chix picatta with gnocchi....this place has now one of my favorite ! Dessert we had a few different things but my favorite was lemon mascarpone cake ... So I understand there will be hiccups. It the food this night (8 of us) was mediocre at best. I got the filet as the waitress said it was amazing. I ordered it medium rare and it came well done. I sent it back and the owner said they would make me a new one and she also took it off the bill. The second one came after everyone was already done eating so I was gonna eat alone. It did t need to. It came out raw. Told the waitress to box it up and I would go home and cook it. Whoever was on meat cannot cook a steak to save their life. Wife got a chicken dish. Server said it was homemade linguine pasta. When it arrived the pasta was boxed fettuccine. We make our own pasta and this was boxed. Her chicken she said it was ok. I tried it and while it had good bones it was lacking flavor. A few other of our dishes were just ok per our guests too. Two of the martinis were so sweet they didn't drink them. My parents came in (not with us) to also try. It planned. Said their food was ok but they both got the shrimp cocktail and they both said the shrimp were very overcooked and tough. They said they won't go back. Again this review is only on our first visit and we will try it again. I will adjust the review if better. read more

Anyone giving this place 5 stars for food hasn't eaten outside of Leominster. Loved that the owner stopped by the table, but that didn't change the fact that the food sat too long under heat lamps and arrived crusted over and warm. We sent back our creme brûlée (twice) because it hadn't set and was a mess of scrambled eggs floating in cream. The owner didn't care to hear anything but the food was great. This is the second time we've been (the first was within days of their opening). Won't be back. read more

The Ambiance is nice , especially the outdoor space with umbrella tables. Inside is air conditioned. Service is just average. Food is hit or miss . The tomato sauce is way too acidic, the chicken cutlets were too thick and overcooked. (Promised gluten free rigatoni and got wheat pasta. ) The baked haddock on the other hand was delicious, mashed potatoes cooked perfectly and lovely garlic green beans. Actually the waitress was not that attentive but maybe busy. Waited a long time for the a refill of drinks and then another long wait for the bill. read more

Wife & I had our third dinner at Benito's yesterday. All of our meals have been excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and professional. Somehow, they have lots of staff and service is quick and experienced. Wife had the Chicken Francese, mashed potatoes & green beans; which she thoroughly enjoyed. For the second time, I had 1/2 garden salad, split the shrimp cocktail with wife and had the P.E.I. Mussels (good size) for my dinner. That's plenty for me and all three were very good. All in all, three very good dinners in a row. We'll make Benito's one of our weekly dinners out. read more

First visit last night. This place is great. So happy to have such a wonderful place so close. Service was great and professional from start to finish. Waitstaff presented like a five star restaurant and the woman who sat us came to check on us during our meal. The food was just as good. My wife had a scallop special and I had baked haddock. Both were excellent. I highly recommend Benito's Grill and can't wait to go back with friends. If I had any suggestion for improvement maybe some sound baffling. It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves, but it was really loud. read more
