We had 2 servers taking our order, and they forgot to put in 2 of the orders. The first order they forgot came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the table. The second order which was for a child took us asking 4-6 times about it and still did not come out until 45 minutes after the rest of the table. We asked to speak to a manager, and unsurprisingly, the manager never came over. With how poorly the kitchen and wait staff appear to be to run, absolutely not surprised that the manager never came over. On top of the service, the place is incredibly hot, flies are rampant and the food is not worth the wait. Way too many places to pick from to put up with such horrible service and lack of care from the staff/management.

Started with the armadillo eggs which are deep fried Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and served with ranch. These things are a weakness of mine and I ate the entire order. Next had a two meat platter with brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage. Sides were fried okra and broccoli. They have their fried food game down. Okra was hot and crispy and well seasoned. Delicious. The broccoli tasted like homemade steamed broccoli and was the exact texture I like. My brisket was super tender and tasty and the sausage was satisfying. I used the spicy sauce which gave everything a kick. Finished with the banana pudding with nilla wafers. Stuffed! Delicious meal and so friendly - I'll be back maybe for when they have live music on a weekend.

They have a huge tent with plenty of tables to sit at under the shade and the space is wrapped in their wood, giving the joint an oak log fence around the food truck. Other than that, my order was simple: brisket, pork ribs, pork belly burnt ends, and a side of their brew brisket beans. The brisket was a thick slice that was moist and flavorful. I love those chunky slabs of brisket. There is just something about a thicker cut that knocks skinnier cuts out of the park. The pork ribs were juicy and tender. I rarely get pork belly burnt ends over a sausage, but they are always a treat like they were here. Just a little taste of heaven. The beans were savory, hearty, and well seasoned. I was pretty impressed by them as well. The team working was super conversational and friendly. The guy in front of me was having his first taste of Texas barbecue, and they were being super helpful making sure he got a true, flavorful experience. This spot feels hidden but is worth the trip. I had sent a DM to the pit master about our visit and placing an order to pick up. Unfortunately they didn't have brisket at the time of our visit but everything else we got was wonderfully delicious. We picked up the Texas Trinity w/Ribs, sausage & pork belly burnt ends with 2 sides. Every thing was delicious but the ribs were the star of the plate.
