    The best bbq menu around
    Scott J.

The best bbq around. You know it's good when don't need any sauce. This place simple kills it! You taste love in every bite. Moist brisket is the best around. Whether you prefer sliced or chopped it melts in your mouth. Ribs are truly amazing. I traveled the entire US Sampling BBQ and this place is number 1 for me. Definitely worth the drive! BBQ Heaven is located right here in Wylie TX.

First off, the staff working here have to be the nicest people that I have ever met working at a restaurant. They take southern hospitality to the next level. They were so friendly and kind. We were greeted and offered multiple samples of the meat. We decided to get the brisket sandwich and German sausage. They gave us enough brisket for 3 people! It was delicious. The German sausage was tasty, too. Restaurant was clean. They had hot sauce, bbq sauce, pickles, jalapeños, and onions at their topping bar. We weren't too big on the sides( Mac n cheese and potato salad), but still overall such a great experience. I wouldn't say it was the best bbq, but it was really good and at a great price.

Semi new! The food is really good. They need to advertise because I am not sure people know what they are missing!

We ordered the two-meat plate, a BBQ sandwich, kids sliders, and several sides. The brisket and pulled pork were incredibly tender and literally melted in your mouth. Every side was delicious, but the fried okra and smoky beans were definite standouts. We also ordered a small peach cobbler for dessert, and it was rich, flavorful, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The portions were generous, everything traveled well for takeout, and the quality was outstanding. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Bold BBQ to anyone looking for fantastic barbecue!

There's always a welcome hello at the door, and they are happy to answer your questions. Be sure and check out their daily "specials" (posted), enticing you to try something NEW! It's not fancy inside, but it is clean, nostalgic, welcoming, and a little Texas for sure. It's a great place to pop in for lunch or even takeout for a party of any size! Our family LOVED it! The food is fresh, and served HOT! This time, we stopped in for lunch: the lean BBQ Brisket, potato salad, smoked beans, and THE BEST OKRA I've had in years! They don't make the okra ahead (like many places do), where it comes out soggy, they serve it fresh, crispy, and oh so good! It was ALL so delicious! There's a little condiment bar (serve yourself), and they bring your order to you. #Fresh #CookedJustRight #DownhomeAtmosphere #FamilyOwned #BestBBQ BOLD BBQ ... Getcha some! I liked it alot! First off, I love waiters who know the menu. She gave lots of details to our questions. The bartender also amazing. They accommodated my daughter's request for a non-alcoholic, frozen pina colada, which she loved. The hibiscus herb margarita is something I want again and again. Food items we had and recommend: - the Mexican chopped salad with shrimp and guacamole - the loaded nachos with brisket - the brisket tacos I saw other reviewers complain about the brisket, but I wholeheartedly disagree- I thought the meat was tender and flavorful. We were too full for dessert, but we look forward to trying that out when we come next time!

We had a reservation for Saturday at 6:30 pm to celebrate Mother's Day, and the experience was…read moredisappointing from the moment we walked in. No one actually seated us -- we were just pointed toward a table. No menus were given. Cornbread was dropped off, still no menus. I eventually had to get up and grab them myself from the host stand. They apologized, but even then, they simply handed them to me instead of bringing them over. It wasn't busy, and I'm extremely patient -- I was a server for years -- but this was frustrating. It took about 10-15 minutes before anyone came by. Our server was friendly, but he didn't write anything down for our party of seven, and we ended up repeating our drink order. That should have been the first sign of how the rest of the night would go. We ordered the platter ($23), and the portion was surprisingly small: two BBQ meatballs, two mac and cheese bites, queso, and a tiny basket of chips. The food runner who dropped off the meals was rude, and the portion sizes overall were shockingly small for the price. The only dishes that felt worth ordering were the penne pasta and the pork chops. The short rib tasted great, but for $30, the portion was extremely underwhelming. When we ordered another round of drinks, mine was forgotten -- again, likely because nothing was written down. I had to let our server know it never arrived. He apologized and came back to say the bartender was busy and working on it. The bartender eventually brought it out personally. What really added to the disappointment was that the server noticed we had gifts and asked what we were celebrating -- but this was after we were already paying and packing up. I had noted on the reservation that we were celebrating Mother's Day, but even without that, it's something you typically acknowledge at the beginning of the meal, not at the very end. And based on other reviews I've read, this seems to be a pattern: instead of genuinely trying to fix issues, they either apologize in a way that feels empty or blame the customer for their experience. So I'm sure they'll have something to say about this review too. Can't wait for the response. Do better. Also, be aware -- because they do NOT mention this -- that parties of six or more are automatically charged a 20% gratuity. With the level of service we received, it felt unfair. If you're going to charge high prices, the service needs to reflect that. It didn't. We won't be returning. And honestly, the 1‑star reviews are accurate. Just prepare yourself. $400 dinner for lack luster experience ‍
