However, as someone who dines here frequently and always makes a reservation, I'm extremely disappointed with the management. Reservations don't seem to mean anything. When you book a 7:00 p.m. table, you shouldn't be waiting an hour to be seated, yet this happens every single time I come. An occasional delay is understandable, but a consistent one points to poor planning and a lack of accountability. What's most frustrating is seeing tables occupied by guests lingering over water long after they've finished, while a line of customers with reservations waits. There appears to be no effort from management to monitor table turnover or communicate time expectations when the restaurant is clearly backed up. The front-of-house staff does a great job, but the reservation system and overall management need serious improvement. As it stands, the experience is frustrating and unacceptable for guests who plan ahead. read more

My wife and I decided to drop in and see what Trucks was all about. I was in the mood for a burger. This was the best burger that I ever ate. It came from Vermont wagu. It was smaller than the big half pound burgers, but it was definitely the most tasty and most filling. No fat or fillers. Just pure wagu beef. The wheat tortilla bread was delicious and healthy. The skinny fries tasted excellent too. The coke was from Mexico so no artificial sugar, just natural sugar, which tasted the best, like the old days. My wife had a chicken fajita which she loved, and she's a gourmet when it comes to Mexican food. I super highly recommend this Trucks restaurant. The decor was nice, but the place was lunchtime crowded and noisy, which didnt bother me because everybody was happy on a beautiful Friday here for lunch. Five stars for everything. We absolutely love this restaurant. It's the only one like it in the area and we are so lucky to have it in the neighborhood. The margaritas are absolutely phenomenal although they are incredibly strong so watch out. Everything we've tried, we have loved, even the things we thought we would not love. I normally do not like chorizo and somehow this place made it good. Love the service. We have sat at the counter, we have sat at the bar, and we have sat at tables, and it is consistently delicious and fun. Go here if you really wanna have a fun time. We cannot wait for summer because we will be having their watermelon margaritas!!!!!! I only wish they had outdoor seating, but apparently they tried to and the neighbors shut it down. Humorously bad. As if a child tried to open a restaurant. $16 for an ice cream scoop of guacamole. The rice and beans are served in pre-portioned cold lumps like prison food. I will start with the good : food was delicious, although QUITE overpriced ( over $250 for 4 adults with only one appetizer, 4 entrees,, (sides extra $$) , one cheese quesadilla for toddler and 3 alcoholic beverages, & one soda& 3 small ice creams, and 2 desserts , which were very good , but I repeat way OVERPRICED they even charge for EACH refill of the SMALL basket of tortilla chips... really? ) service : good, efficient , but not overly friendly , which was fine now the bad: we made reservations through YELP , which only allowed to make for up to 4 people....we had a toddler with us, so when the onlune reservation was made , I was SPECIFIC about the request for a highchair or booster seat when we arrived, ON TIME , at 5:15pm , we were escorted to a small table where we had to literally wedge ourselves into , and then were told by the hostess that " there are only 3 high chairs available in the ENTIRE restaurant and they were being used"so we were out of luck. ONLY 3 high chairs? at a casual restaurant which was clearly packed with young children at 5:00 pm ? What to do now? father of his toddler very resourcefully removed his belt to essentially strap his toddler onto a regular chair..did not work, so a VERY nice young mother patron who was sitting nearby was observing this and actually turned to us and offered to go get a booster seat from her car for her child and relinquish the high chair her very young child was occupying to give to us ! which is what eventually happened, thanks to her. All of this in the meantime was clearly being observed by the manager who didn't even come over to our table to at least apologize..yikes at NO time did the manager step in to try to accommodate us and our young child if I had not been specific on my online reservation regarding the need for a highchair or booster, I could almost understand, but I WAS specific! really? may want to consider applying some the restaurants profits to invest in more high chairs! really too bad & it makes us very hesitant to return to this restaurant in the future. read more

A small place with a barn-like interior. The parking fills up fast, be sure to make reservations! It's usually valet parking. The food is definitely not authentic Mexican, but it definitely incorporates those flavors from the cuisine. The chorizo con queso was awesome, the chips are cut in freshly made strips. If they have it, get the brisket it is killer! They literally sell out of it all the time. The drinks are the star of the show. The margaritas and sangria are excellent. You cannot leave without trying the Mexican street corn too. Definitely a great place to come for drinks and food.
