So it has very little atmosphere, but I order take out from here all the time, and you should too. Here's why: 1. Fast. No matter whether you call to go pick it up, or use a delivery app, in town, the food comes in less than 30 minutes. 2. The nachos. Get the Kiosko nachos. Generous scoop of guac, and no chip is unloved, unlike those places where only the surface of the nachos has toppings. 3. The birria. Oh man, this stuff is awesome. An order of 3 generously stuffed tacos, with a nice cup of consomme with extra meat at the bottom. Delicious and satisfying. 4. The flan. It's homemade, and the best in the village. 5. Today I went in to eat with my boyfriend around 9ish pm, in the website it says it closes at 11pm. As i walked in i asked if they were still open and I was told by a server they were. Seconds after i sat they asked for my order and i informed them i was not ready then seconds after another server comes and asked for our order, i was then pressure to give her our drink order. Then once's drinks came out I placed our food order. Then while we were eating we were being stared at by two servers the whole time while they were sweeping and mopping, we also had a server ask if she can remove my boyfriends plate as he was in the process of taking his last bite, and had our check being placed on our table as i still had 1/4th of my food left. Also, 20 minutes of us being there a party of 2 came in and they were told the kitchen was closed (which i would of loved for them to tell me that instead of rush me out). This made me feel rushed, uncomfortable, and overall to not enjoy my food. This is such an unprofessional restaurant and as a server myself I WOULD NEVER give that type of treatment to no customer. It takes a lot to get a server mad and this had me beyond upset/ mad. I would 1000% preferred them to have told me they were closing and i would've understood and happily left, instead of telling me they were open to then proceeded to rush me out. Also, on top of that an 18% tip was included when services was HORRIBLE and our time only consisted of us being rushed. Almost every item was borderline inedible. The Margarita tasted like diluted cheap tequila with no lime taste discernible. The red and green sauces left on the table had little taste. The green had no hint of tomatillo or any flavor at all and the red sauce was just hot with no flavor. The salsa served with the chips lacked freshness. The Carne Asada had no evidence of marination while appearing more like fajitas than Asada, the mole poblano sauce on the soft tacos was really bad and barely resembling it's namesake, the refried beans were soupy/runny and the rice was overcooked and bland. The service was decent but there was no response or attention given to complaints. The decor and ambience was that of clutter( boxes on empty bar and pile of dusty sombreros right next to tables) and stereotypical style. I took a flyer but will not be returning. read more

So sad. Worst TACO SALAD I have ever ordered. It's especially abysmal coming from a Mexican restaurant. The picture is taken sans the raw onion, and raw green pepper I threw away hoping to make it salvageable. No bueno. The chicken had no seasoning and was practically cooked to jerky status. We WERE repeat customers until tonight, this would be the second time I asked for salsa verde and the second time I did not receive it. Today I was hoping to use it as a dressing, but maybe they new I wouldn't be eating the horrible diner grade salad. I actually feel bad even saying diner grade, because I've had WAY better taco salads at several diners over the years. I'm also pretty sure it was supposed to have cheese, but naw, just an oily shell and balsamic dressing...I mean, really? We also ordered the Kiosko nachos which were decent, but nothing near what I expected for $16. Chicken was the same as the chicken from the salad, I barely saw refried beans, and the jalapeños were from a can. On a positive note the chorizo was pretty tasty. The side of beans and rice looked as bland as it tasted (also the rice was way over cooked). Oh well to that too, I didn't expect a lot from the rice and beans since I've had them before and know they weren't nearly as flavorful as Salsa Picante's rice and beans, but they were extra bland and over cooked today. My husband's burrito enchilada was solid as it has been in previous orders. The last 2 times we ordered I got the chicken chimichanga and that was great and very flavorful, but I'm not sure if that's enough to bring me back again. So if your there already and wondering what to order go for the chicken chimichanga or maybe the burrito and call it a day. read more

I knew that this place was going to be good when I walked in and the majority of customers were Mexican. I was not disappointed either! I went here for dinner and could not decide what to order off the huge menu. Granted they have some options on the menu that aren't typical Mexican dishes (chimichangas), but from what I saw on my husband's plate - you wouldn't be disappointed by getting it. I opted for sopes and thought I'd get a plate of tiny little sopes like I'm used to, but these were huge, filling and delicious. The salsa was perfectly spicy and the sope was freshly made from masa and topped with tasty meat (beef). I could barely finish my dish! Granted I had a huge (and awesome) Pina Colada with dinner... Stop in for lunch/dinner/whatever. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food you won't be disappointed! read more

I went here with a few of my friends who were feeling adventurous. The first step is finding parking, once that is solved walk right in. The servers will seat you pretty soon once they see you sitting there and give you menus. All of the staff and a good portion of the people here looked Hispanic and I could tell from the menu that they had a lot of authentic dishes. The servers paid attention to us when we gave the usual cues of having out menus down and they brought us water and food in a timely manner. I felt the service was exactly what I would expect at a place like Kiosko. Between us we ordered some more standard dishes plus a goat dish to share to be more adventurous. Make no mistake about it, this seemingly simple establishment is likely some of the best Mexican food we have had. The quality of the food is exceptional. Food was served quickly and staff was friendly, portions were generous and fairly priced. Beef soup was particularly delicious. We also enjoyed a house salad with chicken and quesadilla with vegetables, rice and beans. This is definitely homemade food prepared by skilled cooks who care about what they're making and who they're serving it to. I work near Kiosko and often eat lunch at this gem of a restaurant. The food is delicious and homemade. My fav is the chicken mole poblano. Served in the traditional and far more delicious on the bone manner, the chicken is perfectly cooked and smothered in the best mole sauce I've eaten anywhere (and I've had this dish at the finest Mexican restaurants in New York). Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Liked the food--very fresh and tasty. Priced well. My 11 year old son who is very fussy had a good time.
