I started seeing Cynthia when I became pregnant and could no longer use benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid products on my skin. With everything else on my body that was changing, I was hoping to make my skin at least one of the constants. Before my first appointment, Cynthia and I spoke on the phone about my skin concerns so that she could tailor the treatment for me. She was warm, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, which she has continued to be throughout every one of my treatments. Cynthia is truly a miracle worker!!!! I started working with Cynthia four months before my wedding with problem skin and a terrible breakout. On my wedding day, my skin was practically flawless. Absolutely amazing. As all others have mentioned, Cynthia is a miracle worker. She not only has really helped with some breakout and pigmentation issues, but she also helped me identify a small bump on my face that needed some extra attention & wound up having to be removed by an amazing specialist she referred me to. I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review as I have been Cynthia for almost two years straight. I go to her for eyelash tinting- a service I thought I'd never be able to get again as they outlawed it in MA where i grew up. I am as blonde as they get and without wearing mascara I feel like I look dead, but hate wearing make up. For $25 every month or so, Cynthia solves this problem. I go in and come out 25 minutes later with dark lashes that last me a month. Its over and over the best $25 I can spend. Her space is calming and she is the nicest most soothing woman in the world. Cynthia is nothing short of amazing!! I've ALWAYS struggled with acne, and now still battling it in my mid-30's. Living in New York, I had worked with a few different dermatologists and always had a lacking resolution - too many harsh products and too many prescription pills, some were so sever they would make me physically sick. I had roughed through a few years on my own, different products, watching my diet, etc. After moving to Colorado and having some life/hormone changes, I ended up with worse acne - specifically cystic. After a couple months of frustration and doing some research (staying away from any dermatologists) I came across Cynthia. It has been the best thing for my skin in my entire life. Went for a lash tinting - and ended up with black eyes. The upper lashes were partially tinted, the lower lashes not at all. What WAS tinted was the peach fuzz below my eyes on my cheekbones! Someone dyeing lashes should put adequate protection on the surrounding skin to prevent staining. I can't believe Cynthia smeared the tint well below my eyelashes and onto my face. The lighting and available mirrors in the salon are so poor that you can't see what she did until you get home. I did notice that my upper cheeks were smudged/bruised looking in the salon, but Cynthia told me it was just the skin, and would fade in a few days. That would have been bad enough. When I got home, I noticed that it was all the peach fuzz hair below my eyes that was tinted. I would have had to wait a month or more for the hairs to fade. I ended up shaving! and plucking the one inch wide area that she had dyed black. Never again! read more
