They have essential oil candles burning and defusers running and it was so pleasant and welcoming! The lobby is very clean and organized. With COVID the staff collected my name, number and temperature and then had me fill out the once a year new client paperwork. It was about 5 electronic pages and completed quickly. My appointment started and Jessica was very informative about what I would be experiencing. I felt comfortable and heard. My lovely boyfriend arranged for me to have the Hydrofacial (medical facial) with dermaplaning, UV light treatment and an Immune Boost IV!!! This is the tip-top package of the facial experience. My man is a keeper, that's for sure! During the process Jessica took the time to explain what she would be doing next and each step was so satisfying! This amazing experience also included a hand paraffin wax treatment! I went in for estradiol pellets to help relieve a few menopause symptoms. At a later visit, while describing new symptoms, Dr. Rastegar discovered and acknowledged she had forgotten to prescribe progesterone, which is a necessary part of this procedure. She inserted another estrogen pellet before addressing the issue, and added a prescription for progesterone. Once I started taking the progesterone, for the next few months I experienced heavy bleeding and painful cramping, ultimately requiring an ultrasound at my own expense that showed a thickened uterine lining, which is a documented result of receiving estradiol without progesterone. When I raised concerns about the prolonged bleeding, discomfort, and the initial oversight, the response was dismissive and framed as "just a risk of HRT". Dr. Rastegar held no accountability of her oversight, nor did she offer meaningful support. Hormone therapy requires careful management and follow-up. That standard was not met in my case, and I want other women to be fully informed before seeking similar treatment here.

However, this company has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I can't recommend them. A while back, I had tried to get appts for a treatment, but was forced to late cancel twice due to me contracting covid and then my elementary aged daughter contracting covid, once I had a cold sore and they asked me not to come in, and once because I am a displaced elementary teacher and was asked to teach last minute. As a displaced teacher, it is crucial to be available so they will call you again in the future. Rinnova charged me for these late cancellations, which was okay. I understood they were not able to fill that slot regardless of what had gone awry for me. It was a short string of bad luck when I've never had issues with coming to my appts there in the past. For my last appt, they told me it would be no problem to reschedule but that if I canceled one more time then they would not be able to book me in the future. I of course understood this to be the agreement and so I accepted the substitute teaching job for the day and rescheduled, and honored our agreement. Everything seemed fine. I just tried to schedule the same procedure a year later. I intentionally waited until summer so that any substitute teaching assignments would not conflict. After booking my appt, Rinnova called me to say I am not welcome at their business any longer, despite having come to the last appt. It is so disappointing to see a business not be understanding about two conflicts due to covid and the plight of a displaced educator. I honored our verbal agreement which they proposed, and they retracted it a year later; and over the phone, made me feel embarrassed and shamed for it.

My friend had recommended Youthbar to me as we had been talking about her migraines and our RBFs and how it's helped her. I called in I was met with one of the friendliest receptionists I have ever come across. She was patient with despite my many questions and talkative nature and when she couldn't answer my questions, she booked the free consultation for me where I could ask all the questions I wanted. My consultation was with Meadow. She was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and didn't push me on getting more done than I wanted. She made me feel so comfortable I ended up doing the procedure! It was quick, minimal pain, and I am so happy with the results! My take on all parts of this business is below. Procedures: Frown Lines - I have botox to correct my frown lines around my eyebrows. While the frown lines weren't terrible to begin with, this is a preventative measure to make sure they don't worsen over time. Pain is like a 2/10 for me and there were no scars. The effects started around day three. It was weird not being able to make my "mad" face anymore. Added benefits aside from how it looks are I'm not squinting at my computer screen, my headaches have been reduced to minimal pain or nothing, and I truly believe my mood has improved because of it. I genuinely feel happier since doing this. Lip Flip - My top lip would curl under leaving a line whenever I would smile. It has been something I've been very self conscious of and originally thought I wanted a lip filler to help correct it. Meadow gave me more information about the lip flip and we decided to try that to start out instead of the lip fillers. The pain was a little more than the forehead since there are more nerves in my upper lip but they kindly put numbing gel on before hand to reduce the discomfort. Minimal bleeding but the results ended up being better than I expected. The lip flip has softened my smile preventing my lip from coming up so high it make my lip curl and now it sits beautifully above my teeth and you can see the pink of my top lip! I'm extremely happy with it and it has improved my confidence to smile in my pictures again. Overall Experience was amazing. After writing this review, I went back through my chart notes and noticed something I hadn't caught at the time. My first visit on 5/18, I came in wanting to stop my forehead from scrunching, and they gave me 12 units in my glabella. When that didn't address what I'd asked about, I returned on 6/3 and paid separately for 10 units in my forehead, which did work. I've only ever asked for forehead Botox before and wasn't familiar with the term glabella, so I didn't realize these were two different areas being treated. I raised this with the practice, and their records reflect the 6/3 visit as an added area rather than a correction, so we see it differently. I'd encourage anyone going in to confirm specifically which muscle is being treated and what it will and won't address. I assumed I was being treated for the concern I asked about, and that assumption cost me a second visit. The masseter Botox I received was fine, but paying twice to get the one thing I originally asked for is hard to look past. The staff themselves were good but my issue is with how the treatment and this follow up was handled.
