He was understanding, compassionate, and vowed to make it right. Considering my first experience at their salon was so wonderful, I was open to the opportunity to have his team correct my hair. He set me up with their blonding specialist, Laura. She reached out to me the night before my appointment to ask me what my concerns were, what I was looking to achieve and to send her pictures of my current hair and the look I wanted. Again when I walked in the atmosphere of the salon was awesome. Laura went over what I wanted again, and fully delivered what I had originally wanted. After I left Steve again reached out to me to make sure everything went well. I cannot tell you how great it felt to have someone care so much about their business and their clients, and so willing to listen and fix any mistakes that were made. I didn't make a mistake going here at all. I already scheduled my next appointment with Laura and I truly look forward to it, and staying a part of the Salon 427 family. Brittany did my hair and it was PERFECTION. life happened, and I haven't had a chance to have color since. So walking into this, I already had great expectations. I called last minute for a hair cut appointment (on a Tuesday for a Saturday appointment) and everything seemed ok, Brittany was not available on the weekends so I took another stylist. My appointment was at 4pm. Around 1pm that day I get a phone call from them asking if I was ok. I said of course, she proceeds to say 'well your appointment was at 12:45. Now I know she said 4, I marked it in my calendar. Whatever, said she could see me at 2. When I arrived I had to wait 15 extra minutes, which wasn't a big deal to me because I got a nice beverage from the receptionist. I meet with Krystal and she starts asking me about my color. Again, I scheduled an appointment for just a cut. I should have took it as a sign right there to NOT get color, but it was my first time out since my daughter was born so I figured why not. We went over what I had previously, what I wanted now, and I showed her a picture. I was going for subtle, caramel color. What I ended up with was a nightmare. My highlights were splotchy, streaky, yellow, and thick. Think 90's. And not in a good way. I didn't immediately realize due to the poor lighting and when I arrived home my husband literally said 'yikes'. So I reached out to them, explained what happened and yes, they were very responsive. But again, I feel like they had me mixed up with someone else! The girl on the phone kept asking me about my curls (I have straight hair) and said she wasn't going to have time to fix it and curl it like it was (again, I do not have curly hair nor did she curl it, I left with straight hair and she even took pictures of it!!) so I get there on Sunday and Cheyenne helped her fix the color. Now, there is a stylist who not only listens but delivered what I wanted. The only problem is they had to dye over the blonde, and it was a demi so it's already starting to fade out. I used to recommend this salon to everyone, but I cannot see myself returning when someone who is a level 3 stylist in their opinion can not execute what a customer asks for.

The polish was so far away from my cuticles that it looked like it was done a week ago, and the lines were not smooth or straight. My nails were filed in all different shapes and lengths. The polish was so thick that it resembled acrylic nails. I called a few hours after I recieved the service to tell her it didn't look good. I did this because I had people at work commenting on how bad it looked. I guess it was worse than I thought. When I spoke to Dawn, she immediately became defensive, told me to come get my money and never come back. She was rude and insulting while I was being respectful. She said she could tell I was a nit picky client by the way i was looking at my nails while she was servicing me. When I went to pick up my money, she was yelling and used profane language. A spa experience is for the body and the spirit and Just Relax Massage and Spa recognizes that. My appointment was with Jasmine and she greeted me at the desk,I filled out paperwork and she escorted me to the room for my Head spa and mini facial. Calming spa music was on the speaker, and she shared how the process would unfold and ensured me that everything, from the temperature of the heated table, the water, and the room was easily adjusted to my needs. Jasmine began with the mini facial and it was heavenly, especially the hot towel wrap, she then began with the head spa and it truly was heavenly. The lotions and potions used was such a treat and I could feel the nerve endings in my scalp do a happy dance. Half way through she then worked down my neck, across my shoulders and to my finger-tips with a massage. She then returned to my head massage, another shoulder massage and then finished up with the last half of my mini facial. I was a happy puddle when she helped me sit up. You will leave a head spa massage with wet hair but Relax Massage and Spa provided you with a towel to wrap your head or place on your shoulders as you drive home. Additionally, they provide you with the wide tooth comb used on your scalp during the massage. My face felt as smooth as glass (not bad for 72 years of wear) and my hair was like fine silk after the head spa. I cannot say enough about this experience and am a huge advocate for this type of self-care as it is so good for your mental health as well as your physical health.
