I love chatting with her because we laugh between the rips - I am tempted to yell out OH KELLY CLARKSON - but it has never been more than a bit of a discomfort. We did my underarms this time too and that was quick and effortless. The only think I have to say is that the shop always seems like it is under construction. It never feels like it is fully in business. The newer building space (one building over maybe 20 ft away) is bigger and a nicer space. It just is still unfinished. They had wipes in the bathroom of the old shop too so that you could freshen up if it was later in the day. They do supply snacks and drinks while waiting which is a nice touch. I do adore Sofia. She has been a gem and made my experience so great. We even discuss our favorite online gal - the waxing queen. If you are looking for someone to actually talk with you before and during your experience who will make you laugh, Sofia is wonderful.

People come up to me and ask me what I've done to get this peaches and cream glow to my skin... I got that with facials with Kathleen! She also does Extreme lashes, which I am now totally addicted to- beautiful long, dark, and full lashes that make your eyes pop without mascara, without any makeup! She's so patient and gives me the lashes that I wasn't born with, as well as taking care of the lashes that I do have! I live in Florida- not the place for heavy makeup or mascara, so instead Kathleen has made my own skin glowing and beautiful without makeup and now I have those lashes to die for!! I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and it's like Vavoom!! I'm sexy, with long, lush lashes like my boys have!!

They only use gel polish, which is great for me. I currently see Sam for my Mani and she is awesome! She knows just what my nails need to stay healthy and strong. When I am in doubt of a color to pick, she is spot on for helping choose the right color. I had my nail crack due to a smack into my cupboard, plus experienced a fracture and tear. When done repairing them, you could not tell the nails had ever been damaged! Brandi does my pedicures. She is amazing! She is extra careful with your feet-not rough nor does she rush. I usually get the Basic Pedi, but am going to try the Deluxe Pedi in the near future!

Off of Cortez 50 near the gas station, same set of buildings that house the cheesesteak place and other salons and businesses. First impression: clean, peaceful, soft jazz music. Lovely esthetician. She is attentive, calm and a nice person. I felt like she had a lot of positive ideas for me. Had a lower leg wax and she is thorough. A serene and calm environment. Appointments by phone or online scheduling on some sort of appointment system. Bring cash, credit/debit for the Square app to pay. Reasonably priced. I recommend the facial. Had my first one ever in my life and I felt pampered, smooth skin. She has various services and price lists. I was out of my comfort zone and she made me feel at ease. I hope to go back regularly. Highly recommend. Please tell her Michelle Allen sent you. I didn't realize this was still in my drafts from last year.

Self-care at its best!…read more There is nothing like a Japanese Head Spa to exhilarate your scalp and leave your hair feeling like silk. Add the mini facial massage (Deluxe package) and you have a 75 minute golden ticket of self-care. Just Relax Massage and Spa, in Spring Hill, is nested in an office park just off Mariner Road. Its spa like interior is quiet and easy on the eyes. I was really happy to see that as too many spas, in the area, are a sad attempt at what a spa should look like. A spa experience is for the body and the spirit and Just Relax Massage and Spa recognizes that. My appointment was with Jasmine and she greeted me at the desk,I filled out paperwork and she escorted me to the room for my Head spa and mini facial. Calming spa music was on the speaker, and she shared how the process would unfold and ensured me that everything, from the temperature of the heated table, the water, and the room was easily adjusted to my needs. Jasmine began with the mini facial and it was heavenly, especially the hot towel wrap, she then began with the head spa and it truly was heavenly. The lotions and potions used was such a treat and I could feel the nerve endings in my scalp do a happy dance. Half way through she then worked down my neck, across my shoulders and to my finger-tips with a massage. She then returned to my head massage, another shoulder massage and then finished up with the last half of my mini facial. I was a happy puddle when she helped me sit up. You will leave a head spa massage with wet hair but Relax Massage and Spa provided you with a towel to wrap your head or place on your shoulders as you drive home. Additionally, they provide you with the wide tooth comb used on your scalp during the massage. My face felt as smooth as glass (not bad for 72 years of wear) and my hair was like fine silk after the head spa. I cannot say enough about this experience and am a huge advocate for this type of self-care as it is so good for your mental health as well as your physical health. Thank you, Jasmine, and Just Relax Massage and Spa.

They also offer much more than just nails and pedicures, including waxing, head massages, and facials, which is a nice bonus. I noticed if you ask or book a Basic Gel pedicure the price will be $52. That said, the salon itself is a much nicer environment than many others charging similar prices. At least here you're paying for a beautiful, updated space instead of sitting in a salon surrounded by storage boxes or outdated furnishings.
