I was so so grateful, but if I couldn't have brung them, I wouldn't have been able to get my hair done that day. Andrea did a phenomenal job cutting my hair, and she also put it in some very lovely blonde highlights. She was very meticulous and made sure she was doing everything properly. She was very friendly and chatted with me. However, but the time I got home, I was a little upset, because I wanted something more dramatic, and more of an allover blonde. I 100% did not communicate this properly to her. I struggle communicating and I'm pretty shy, so this often is a recipe for a disaster of my own making. lol I called Laura, and told her my hair wasn't what I really wanted. I thought I could tough it out until my next touch up and just ask for a ton more highlights, but I couldn't. She told me to come in Monday evening and she would fix it because she wanted me to be completely happy with my hair. She was so nice and so kind, and I felt awful because I knew this was going to make her stay late into the evening, and I'm sure she was hungry when I came in. We talked extensively about what I wanted, and I showed her different pictures this time. She discussed the best way to do it and keep the integrity of my hair at the same time. She wanted me to be happy, but she didn't want to destroy my hair in the process. She patiently applied TONS AND TONS of foils. Once the color was finished processing she told me if I still wasn't happy, she would stay and we would try again. She really wanted me to be happy with my hair. She turned me away from the mirror as she dried and styled it so she could do a big reveal at the end. I LOVE IT!!!!! It's so beautiful and it looks so natural too! It looks so natural that a woman complimented my hair yesterday and told me how pretty it was. I thanked her and told her I had gotten it done at Laura's Southern Charm Salon and told her where they were located. She was SHOCKED! She couldn't believe that it was color, and said they did a REALLY good job. I'm going to recommend this salon to everyone I know, and everyone who asks me about a salon in the area! I will definitely be going back for touch ups and hair cuts! She is also very generous, because that day she had been giving free back to school hair cuts. she had a back pack for a girl, and one for a boy that she was going to have a drawing for. I got to pick the children's names and they were so excited!! I was very touched at her kind and generous spirit.

I didn't want to spend too much $$$ and Amanda's pricing looked competitive. I decided to check her out since I wanted to get my nails done for my best friend's wedding. She has a ton of pictures from past clients on her site... all the styles are gorgeous, a testament to her detailed/beautiful work! I am very meticulous with my nails and specifically screenshotted a picture so that she can mimic the style. It was a pink to white ombre with a daisy patterned accent. I typically do gel nails and totally forgot that dip was the technique for an ombre so I went along with it. I'm usually really picky with dip cus it can look like bubbles so I specifically asked if she can scale it down. Amanda did a great job and I was so happy with the result. Her loft isn't fancy by any means but it's clean and she is super fast and efficient. Walking out, I couldn't stop looking at my nails! When I say my nails were in tact for 2.5 weeks... man I was impressed. I got to keep them on for the wedding weekend, spring break, my birthday... it was awesome and I can't wait to go back for a refresh!I got so many compliments and would recommend her to anyone!
