My old salon moved so I gave this shop a try. I was seated immediately without an appointment on Saturday at 9:30am. They got pretty busy by noon. Lisa did my nails. I got a Hawaiian pedicure and a fill on my acrylic nails. Lisa offered to do flowers on my toenails which came out really cute. The shop was really clean and the massage chairs were comfortable. They sterilized all their tools. The music was instrumental which appeals to most. The only thing I would suggest as an area of opportunity for them is updating their Decour and the fact that they want you to pay your tip in cash instead of putting it on your card with the charges for the service. I walked in on a Thursday and there was maybe 3 people there getting pedicures. I was immediately greeted by 2 women and they were both very friendly. The person who did my nails was Kim. She was very thorough and took her time with me. I picked out a color, then realized the color was very close to the same color as my skin and didn't want to look like I had no nails, lol. So, I asked Kim if I could change the color and she suggested a very pale pink which I love. I've already had several compliments on the color. The salon is your typical salon. Nothing fancy, and I was shocked there were no TV's in here to help pass time rather than staring at the lady doing the nails lol. It was a bit awkward for me, but it was fine. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because my nails are pretty thick so that makes me think she might be a little less experienced than the others. I went today for a regular manicure. A young lady whose name is Dianet Barrios took care of me. She refused to give me a hand massage aleging that back in Cuba she didn't do it to her clients. She refused to do it even when the owner told her that has always been part of the service . She also refused to sand the top of my nails to create pores so the polish could attach better. It seems she is new to the US style of service. She told me that it was her 2nd year in this country and her license she got it in Tampa. The most rude and disrespectful attitude I have ever seen from a nail technician. NOT A GOOD EMPLOGEE FOR THE BUSSINESS. read more

New to the area and tried 4 different nails salons before I came here. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! All other places I tried would lift and they would charge me for them lifting. I finally came here and Lauren actually listened to me and cared. She removed my old set and gave me a BEAUTIFUL new set that were SO STRONG. I'm active and use my hands a lot. ** Update 6/1/2019 ** Unfortunately, I've had to amend my review and I can no longer recommend this salon. I've been going there for a few years. The last year or so, I've been making appointments with the same guy at the same time every 2-3 weeks. The last couple times, I arrive 5 minutes early and I'm told there's a whole other hour-long pedicure in front of me. Additionally, I was doing the SNS Dip Powder for a while because the owner's wife assured me it would help my brittle nails strengthen and grow. When I finally took a break from the nails and allowed the last set to come off, my nails were utterly destroyed. Thinner and brittler than ever. My nails broke down to the nail bed in some places. Half of my left thumbnail snapped away from the main nail and still hasn't healed, making a bloody mess. So now I'm across the street at LA Nails, receiving an upgraded pedicure for $15 less than I paid at NSH anyway. Taken immediately as a walk-in. read more

Have been a customer of this salon for many years and have seen it go through a lot of changes not always good. I come because of my nail tech today I was informed I would be charged an additional $1.50 just to use my credit card. Also it is discouraged to apply tip to credit card. They are clean and have a lot Of variety on gel colors. However, I didn't like their services. I had a full set done with Loann. I told her to do Coffin and that I wanted her to please paint all the way back to the cuticle and she told me second coat. She did like 4-5 coats of paint and my nails look thick and did not do as I asked. I will never visit this place again. read more

So it was my first time here! GREAT EXPERIENCE! I had the Lavender Deluxe pedicure and Kim did an incredible job!!!!!!!! The carry OPI (the only brand I use) as well as others. They have a huge color selection. The Salon is immaculate and technicians bring sealed sterilized instruments. I like that the tubs are lined in plastic so your pedi is very hygienic!!!!!! Clean restroom and VERY nice people. Fairly priced and Very well ventilated. Soft, no intrusive instrumental music playing and no noisy televisions blasting (a huge plus for me)! Elegantly decorated and huge magazine selection. Very relaxing Massage chairs with a nice selection of settings. For packing in all the walk-ins, you would think there would be more seating than just TWO chairs in the waiting area. Then they have their drying table with two more chairs, that can only be occupied by the ones who need to dry their nails. I am visiting Spring Hill and carefully reviewed the surrounding nail salons in the area and decided to try Nails So Happy based on their great reviews. I would like to start by saying that everyone is very friendly. I was a bit surprised to find that their mani/pedi price is about $6 more than I pay at home in California but that wasn't a big deal. My main disappointment here was the quality of the mani/pedi. First, my cuticles weren't thoroughly pushed back and clipped. As a practicing esthetician, I'm aware that specific State Board regulations can vary from state to state and that it's possible they aren't allowed to cut excess cuticle, but they should have at least been pushed back on my toenails prior to painting. Thankfully I had recently done this to my nails and they didn't need it. Second, apparently the second coat of the polish, as well as the top coat only made it to part of my nails. It's pretty standard for this to happen with the top coat, as I always apply another coat when I return home so that the manicure actually lasts but having the second color coat applied so carelessly makes the manicure just look bad. I've uploaded a photo for reference. I feel that I've basically wasted my $31 and will now have to get them redone when I return home. The woman who did them was very nice and I tipped her well for her time but wouldn't return or refer anyone here! read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Made an appointment for 530 for pedicure for grandmother and manicure for self. Was told to sit in areas and after 20 minutes upon me asking was told it would take another 20 minutes. Then someone arrived for manicure with attitude for my manicure and when I asked for something to soak my hands in she said they didn't do that. I declined having the manicure as I found that unacceptable and don't want to give them my money. But am still waiting for grandmother to get her pedicure as I am visiting and live 2 hours away and she was so excited. She has been having her feet soak for now 40 minutes and NOT ONE person has even acknowledged her. Never again will I come here and I encourage you to go elsewhere. They do a great job with nails here. The ladies are all so sweet. There is a great selection of colors to pick from for you nails. I have gotten pedis and manis here many times and have always been very pleased with the results. The price is great also! You can get a quality pedi for just $18! I just moved here from out of state and the same quality pedi would have easily cost $35! I got my eyebrows done here once, it's not exactly upscale for these services. The wax really irritated my skin and my eyebrows were made kind of thin but I've been trying all over Spring Hill for a good place for brows, and even though this was the cheapest and not the best ever it was good for Spring Hill. read more

This place left my sister and I feeling unhappy. We each got acrylic manicures, which are listed as $23 on the website. We wanted to get an hombre look on coffin style nails. They wanted to charge twice as much, which came out to around $45 just because of the hombre factor. All because it consisted of two colors instead of one... Then they charged us an extra $5 for the coffin style shape, which is literally a glorified square. All they needed to do was file a little more. We ended up not getting the hombre because the price was ridiculous. The manicurist my sister had would not allow my sister to get a shorter nail like she requested; she upright told her "no" when she asked. They only accept cash on Sunday's which was annoying and I had to make two transactions at a Walgreens to get the money I needed. To top It off, the nails turned out subpar at most. They have always been really nice to me I look at the wait is some much needed down time for me. I can see where people have appointments get frustrated and that just comes down to better time management on the technician's part. If you have a client coming don't take someone else on. I just got gel on my nails for the first time for the holiday's and it was so pretty and I received so many compliments. Trash salon. Unsanitary, they have roaches crawling around everywhere. Cheap service, cheap quality. I got my nails done and not even 24 hours later two nails snapped over the slightest pressure, and the gel polish started lifting off three other nails. Customer service is trash, they don't know how to talk properly to customers and will curse at you under their breath. They dont clean the pedicure tubs or ANY other tool they use.
