Yao is the BEST. My gel lasts three weeks, never chips or peels. She takes her time during pedicures and knows when her clients want to chat, and when then just want to sit back and relax. The salon is clean and I'm sure everyone there is great, but I will ONLY go to Yao for all my nail care needs while living in Spring Hill. read more

I really wanted to get a good pedicure at a clean salon so after checking Yelp and finding 3 five star ratings for this place, I decided to drive the 10 miles from my house. While I was there I was very happy with everything and enjoyed chatting with Melissa who did my pedicure. I opted for the Deluxe choice which cost $22 as opposed to the basic which is $19. After she finished she sat me under the ultraviolet lights. A while later, since Melissa had stepped out, I asked the man who was sitting at the desk to check to see if the polish was dry. He came over, checked and took the toe separators off. My feet looked and felt good. Unfortunately the polish on all of my toenails began peeling off only hours later even though I only wore flip flops. I called the next day to tell them and explain that they were 20 miles round trip from my house and because of the gas it would cost me, I just wanted my money back. The woman who answered the phone checked with her supervisor and came back to the phone telling me again that they could only offer me to have them redo the toenails that have peeling polish. The woman on the phone told me that this rarely happens. This may be true but since it did happen, they should have refunded me if that is what I wanted. If they had done that, I would have come back for my next pedicure. My girlfriend had previously asked me if I knew of a good place for a pedicure and I know now I will not be recommending Nails So Happy. This incident shows that they do not care about customer service. read more

Been looking for a good nail salon in Spring Hill with no luck. Tried this salon based on Yelp reviews. Made an appointment for ombré nails and had to wait awhile despite having an appointment, but it was definitely worth the wait. They were the best ombré nails I have ever had done!!! The look of the place inside isnt't the best, but the quality of nails were on point!!! I have gotten so many compliments on my nails! Definitely found the best spot! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Complete scam. I asked for a gel full set and they gave me acrylic with a clear gel on top.. Which is TOTALLY wrong and they charged me $45 for something that only costs $25-$30. I didn't want acrylic nails because I am 8 months pregnant and the fumes produced by the application of acrylic is very bad for anyone, let alone my daughter!!! (The lady I spoke to didn't seem to care at all about that.) But I was told that it is a gel powder they used. I know for a fact that there is no such thing as a gel powder. I've been getting my nails done for almost 3 years, and I have NEVER had powder applied on my nails. I even researched it through multiple internet sources (I copied them below) and they all said that if powder is put on your nail, it is acrylic- NOT GEL. I just walked out of the salon (because I wanted to try and fix it, get a refund, and/or maybe get the gel that I originally asked for) and apparently I cannot get a refund because the man who did them (Tim) is on vacation AND THEY DON'T HAVE GEL. So why was I charged for something they don't have? Who knows.. I stood there arguing with some lady- who didn't even work there full time-and was given an attitude the entire time. She kept repeating herself, "Do you want to get your nail fixed or what?!" Terrible, terrible, terrible. I brought my mother here for a manicure (and myself.) She is a little frail and walks with a walker. The woman that did her nails was so gentle and kind. She went out of her way to make my mom feel special - she even added several beautiful hand painted daisies on two of my mom's nails. They looked beautiful. My mom was beaming with a big smile. I went to nail so happy because my friend was crazy about them. So I went with a couple friends. I got a mani-pedi. I sat there waiting in cold water 40 minutes waiting for the lady to do my pedicure. Then when she finally have me a pedicure it was sloppy work and looked like something my Lil sister would do. It's so hard to choose a nail salon when you are away from home, but I hit the jackpot with Nails So Happy in Spring Hill. My pedi by Liberty was so awesome that I opted to have manicure by Kim. Both ladies did great job. Salon is very very clean. Atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Staff very friendly. They took their time to provide a wonderful experience for me. Price very reasonable. Called about a week ago to make a reservation for two manicures. Called the office to let them know we were on our way to the appointment and was told they didn't take any appointments for Sunday. The worst nail salon I've ever been to, took over and hour before they even called for me to put me at a booth. Didn't tell me they had 3 appointments before me; then they call me put me at a dirty booth, no one comes over at all. 10 minutes later I asked is someone coming to do my nails? Oh it's going to be this lady; the lady was in the middle of doing someone else's nails not even close to polishing; so give or take another hour. Which means by then I would have waited and hour and a half. What is wrong with these people. I totally voiced my opinion; and I left!!!!!!! Wasted over an hour of my time. I only went in to get a nail repaired. I can't believe that this seems okay to them; they should have let me know what the wait would be when I got there. I am beyond disappointed!!!!! read more
