A friend and I went for manicured with TAP gel and pedicures. While waiting for my friend to finish up I noticed my pedicure was terrible! I have rough feet (gross) and need pedicures frequently. My heals were still very rough, the lady overheard me and had me go back to the pedicure chair. They scrubbed my foot down with cuticle oil and a pumice stone. It helped but was not comfortable or relaxing. I have since gone to another salon to have my pedicures. My nails came out very nice (pic is about 2.5 weeks old) and they still look really nice! read more

I've been going to Spa 1 for over 2 years but recently caught a fungal infection. They reuse nail files on multiple customers! My Dermatologist said that's where the fungus spores are! Never again! Now it's going to take at least a year for my nails to grow out using a topical medication and 3 months of an oral prescription that I have to get liver function tests done MONTHLY because the prescription is so hard on your liver! read more

I chose the basic pedicure for 35 and my total bill was over $110! 11/14/2024 - This was the first time I've been back in for a few years. Kevin did my gel pedicure, and Mindy, my gel manicure. Both were good at massaging legs and hands, and the massage chairs were wonderful. If you haven't been to the salon in the past few years, they have expanded, upgraded and updated their look. This has been my "go to" salon for pedicures for a few years. I've recommended to others, and have taken several friends. Yesterday was my first time back since their renovation. Very nice space! The tech that did my pedicure gave me the list of the different options, and I selected the basic option/lowest price. She asked me what color I wanted and I asked to see the samples. She brought me a booklet, which was different than what I've chosen from before. When I checked out, it was quite a bit more than I expected. I asked if it was more because she used gel polish and the fellow said yes. Never did I request gel polish, never did she mention it. Felt like I'd been taken advantage of. When I got home I noticed that the dry skin and calluses on my feet were still there. Got a crappy pedicure and paid more for it! I may choose a different salon next time because I dont want the same tech (didn't get her name). Lesson learned on my part! read more

Found this place last minute, they were super friendly and helpful. Amazing work, loved the shape and color. I think I just found my new go to for nails! There was actually a complaint from a separate customer while I was there, the owner handled it very professionally and I was throughly impressed. I used to go here for several years, then I moved away, and came back. I tried out other nail salons before returning back to this place. The only reason I wanted to try out other places is because of reviews on Facebook and whatnot from other people who loved other places. So, I wanted to try them out for myself. However, this is still number one in my book. I absolutely love it here, I love the staff, and they do an exceptional job. I have been to almost everybody in the salon, and everybody, except one person, is fantastic. I will not mention any names, but there is one gentleman who I don't care for in the salon. He always seems grumpy, and does a very rushed job. But I love Louann, Tyler, Cathy, and Vincent. They are all my favorites. I walk in, and Cathy automatically recognizes me and makes me feel warm and welcome. You won't be disappointed with this place. Most shops say they can't do what I want or it's ridiculous amount of money extra. But I got what I wanted for the first time in years, the service wasn't too long or too rushed, and she even was very graceful and good at nails. They have a great array of colors and although I haven't had a manicure here, the chairs are always full so they must be good. The pedi chairs are new and massage. Each bowl is lined with a fresh plastic liner so you know the bowl is clean. Thirsty? No problem, they have water if you ask. Some will even offer up front. Most disappointing pedicure I've had of my entire life! I first got sat down and waited awhile until the girl came to start. Which is not even the disappointing part. The person next to me was over half way through her pedicure, yet we finished literally 2 minutes from one another. I hardly got the bottom of my feet scrubbed, hardly got a massage, only got a hot towel for all of 30 seconds if that, and didn't get any lotion until after my nails were painted and very lightly on the shins. She didn't bother to put any on my feet or even my calves. For the price I paid I would have gotten all of that plus hot stones any where else I've ever gone before in my life. I will never be back, let alone spend my money here ever again. read more

My first manicure was decent and I liked the tech but really poor communication skills so I kept my nails longer. About 2 weeks in and one nail cracked in half. I stopped in to have the nail replaced and new polish. I picked the dip color I liked and then she started to take off my polish. She failed to tell me that the whole tip has to come off in order to replace dip colors. So when she wrapped my nail in foil and removed my tip, I was shocked. Then she replaced my whole tip and I got gel instead of new dip. No big deal butttttt, she over filed my nails to pain!! Not only was Lisa (tech) rude, kept making fun of my color choice and shape..she started pulling my hand and telling me to relax. I'm up at 4 am because my thumb nails are in pain and swollen...tomorrow I'm going to ask for a full refund. read more

This is a hit or miss most of the time, when you come into get your nails done most of the workers are really good at doing your nails and will make sure how short or long you want them, help you with the color your choosing, or make sure the rest of your nails or the length you want. A full set is usually around 50-60 mins. When I came in I made a appointment for Tuesday I walked in and the owner told me to pick a color and if I wanted gel or regular. she then told me where I was siting at. I was at table 10 and I got Tracey I'm usually really good at understand all the workers when they talk but Tracey was very quiet and I couldn't really understand her. I think she did a horrible job. My nails took about 35-40 mins. I felt very rushed. I asked for a full set with coffin, white regular nail polish, and a glittery polish for my ring finger. The price came out to be 30$. The nail solan is very clean and sanitized and they bring out new supplies in new packages. All workers wear masks and everyone that walks in to the solan has to wear a mask some workers wear gloves but every worker that does pedicures has to wear gloves. The owners daughter who just had a baby does the best nails and eyebrows. read more

I told the tech I didn't want gel polish after my nail fill (balance for northerners); the tech who sits up front answering the phones then proceeded to rip my nail off until I bled; as I was yelling, stop, I'm sure so she could charge me additional to add another nail. Went with my sister to get our nails done. Initial tech was perfection, then Kathy, the owner finished off my sisters nails. She sloppily put on 2 coats of color And then told her to go dry. Didn't make sure the blowers were on or anything. Had to get the other patron to help. Later when nails set/ dried there were bubbles, uneven layers, missed spots. My sister went back and they did refund her money but it's still disappointing as it was the owner. My problems were owner waxed my eye brows in a hurry she burned me. I had a scab afterwards! Sorry to say Kathy is also pretty rude as she didn't notice me as I watched her roll her eyes at my sister when she walked away to the drying table. She excels at pushing you out store but not a very nice person. Too bad because the salon is nice and I had plans to book for my nieces bridal party of 15 in September. Literally worst nail place I've ever been to.... I got a fill and you can CLEARLY see whenever the last acrylic was and I wanted a French tip which I got but all of my nails are crooked ans there is hair painted on my nail with the gel coat over it so that's great... oh and not to mention as soon as I got home my GEL nail polish on top had a bubble creating a lift... JUST TO TOP IT OFF there is still my old color on parts of my nail where it wasn't completely filed off... I will never go here ever again. read more
