I can't speak enough on how much I love Skintastic! They turned what was an absolute nightmare into such a wonderful experience! Jamie, Heather and Janie are angels! I went to another "spa" just down the road and had my lips filled. It was awful! I had white bumps immediately after. At the time I honestly didn't even know that wasn't a normal occurrence that it wouldn't go away after the swelling was down. My entire top lip looked deformed once the swelling was gone. I even had a part of my lip actually open up! My lip was so bad I couldn't even find pictures online that looked close to how bad they were! I will attach a photo for reference. So, I went to Skintastic for a second opinion. Jamie the NP was wonderful. I was placed on an antibiotic immediately and she dissolved my lip filler over a few visits. They were so kind to me and helped me when the place I had gone and spent just over 1k at couldn't be bothered to email or call me back. After the dissolver did it's thing I got a syringe of Restalyne Kysse. I won't pretend to know anything about fillers but what I do know is my lips seem fuller after the same amount of product was used. I assume this is due to technique as all of my old filler was dissolved. I am BEYOND happy with my results!! No more deformed top lip and my lips feel SO soft! I will never go to another spa again. Woohoo! As good as it gets for sure! I have been to skintastic on numerous occasions. It is always a welcoming and wonderful environment! I searched far and wide for years for an esthetician. I had been to many all over Florida. I found the absolute BEST in Janie Rushnell. Her talent, kindness, understanding, complete competence, and sublime bedside manner are unparalleled. What she is doing in little ole' Springhill, I have no idea! Lucky us! I am 100 percent serious when I say, I would send the queen of England to Janie. She is phenomenally educated. She knows right away what odd or obscure skin issues you are having and how to deal with them. All the while, it feels like she is your protective, loving, and caring big sister who wants nothing more than to see you well, happy, and beautiful! I have been going to Skintastic for almost two years and I wouldn't recommend another MedSpa. Janie, the owner, is an absolute angel and always greets me every appointment if she's in. She asks about how my life is going and even remembers little details about my life we've talked about before which makes the experience more comfortable and adds a nice personal touch. The services I've had include: Dysport, Dermal Filler, VanquishMe, Facials and, most recently, PDO Nova Threads I've had lip injections in the past and have always had massive bruising and swelling due to the multiple injections. Jessica, one of the injectors, uses something called the cannula technique so she only has to make one injection on the side of my lip. The pain is minimal and the swelling is mostly gone in a day or two. Overall, they've really helped me boost my confidence and become more comfortable with my appearance. I cannot say enough about Janie. She is a true professional who explains everything thoroughly to you about any procedures you will have. I have had excellent results with the laser hair removal. After the first treatment, the hair was reduced at least 80%. I am almost completely hair free from the problem areas on my face. I have also had microderm abrasion treatments and facials with Janie and have always been completely satisfied. I was unsure about going locally for hair removal and thought maybe I should go to a larger advertised business in Tampa, but am so happy I gave Janie the opportunity first. My first time there resulted in a good but not excellent experience. So, I left a 4-star review. Janie (the owner) called me and asked what happened and what she could do to make improvements. She had me come in again and actively listened to all my concerns. I was offered another treatment and I ended up satisfied. She is extremely dedicated to her business and that is obvious. Reviews are a critical element that attributes to a business's success so obviously, any intelligent business owner will do whatever they can to ensure that clients are happy by addressing any negative reviews. I just love this place. From entrance to exit, the ladies in the place have been amazing. I've been having services done for several years now. Many times I have asked Jessica M and Janie what else I need to have done and they have responded with, "Nothing." I'm thankful for their honesty. Every procedure (including comparisons between products) is thoroughly explained. If I have a question or concern, they address it promptly, even if it requires a call back after business hours. I had to wait a little bit one time but I believe it was because the previous client required a little more time. Janie was super apologetic without violating patient confidentiality. About two years ago my neighbor recommended Skintastic Med Spa. I wish I could give Janie and her staff a higher number of stars. They rescued my skin. I had not been kind to it nor it to me. A microneedling w prf treatment was suggested which I did several sessions of. My skin has not looked this good in decades. It resolved fine lines and wrinkles, tightened my skin but, best of all it actually smoothed my acne scarring. I couldnt be happier. The ladies that work at Skintastic are extremely skilled at their profession. I come from NY and the only place I knew of that had these services and equipment (many options) was a plastic surgeon's office. To add to all that, they do crazy monthly specials along with their normally low prices for fillers/botox which are more reasonable than anywhere I've ever been. I have been seeing Brianna for electrolysis the last 3 months for dark chin hair. I am very pleased with my sessions with Brianna, as I was previously going to another med spa. What I noticed about Brianna's technique, is that when she zaps my individual chin hairs, she hits each hair follicle a number of times which is important, because it takes each chin hair a number of times to be hit to permanently remove one hair. I love her personality, as she is very very professional, yet very friendly. So far I've been twice to Skintastic. Once for Dysport in my forehead and the second time I had Dysport injected in my neck. Both times I was extremely pleased with the results. Within a few days even the deep creases I've had in my forehead (I can remember having them as a teenager) were gone and with the neck it relaxed the cords that run under your chin to the point they couldn't be seen. I visited Skintastic's new location and received a dermal infusion. The new location is much improved from the previous - much larger and a much nicer waiting room. It's also stocked with plenty of snacks and drinks (nice touch). Ownership was welcoming, desk staff checked me in and got me to the chair in a timely fashion. The procedure itself was performed in a nice spacious room, with my choice of music, and was a great experience overall.
