I had been going to LOTS of laser hair removal places over the last few years. I rarely ever got the same technician more than once (seemed more like part-timers with a high turnover rate) and my results had seemed to slow more and more. After my last place went out of business, I started my search again and found Mary Beth's Laser Affair. The price scared me a bit at first, because it was much higher than I was used to but I was also obviously "getting what I paid for" with the other places. From the first phone call, I could tell she was very knowledgeable about all things laser hair removal, explaining the differences between different types of lasers and why I wasn't getting the results I wanted and happy to answer any and all questions I had. You can tell she really loves what she does and I hadn't found that in any of the other people I had tried, plus I love that it's her every time, instead of just another part-time technician that seemed to not even be still working at other places I tried when it was time for my next appointment. I've already noticed MUCH better results with large and even areas going way better than any of my other appointments at this point, so I'm confident I'm going to finally be getting the results I've been wanting! I can't believe I wasted so much money at all the other places for so long, when I could have gotten better results in less visits AND less overall cost too, lesson learned! Looking forward to my next visit and thanks again! read more

I got underarm and Brazilian treatments at Laser Affair. I'm SO HAPPY with my results after I finished all sessions. They are very informative and friendly, and explained they type of laser they use, the settings for my skin color, and how many sessions they recommended for someone with medium/brown skin. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about Laser Affair. It's been years and I've only had to get one touch up appointment to maintain my results. I got underarms and Brazilian extended treatments and am very happy with the outcome! I have medium brown skin and they were one of the only providers in Tampa with the nd:yag laser, which is safe and the most effective for darker skin tones. read more

Best laser place ever ! None of my hairs grow back and they are so kind and make you so comfortable!

No wonder they are 5* business. Very pleasant experience and reasonable prices. Technician was nice, courteous, explained everything, and laser really worked unlike the services I got at other places. read more

Love coming here! Was nervous before my first appointment but was given information beforehand and the day of about the whole process that helped calm my nerves. I couldn't be more happy with my experience with Laser Affair. Not only is Mary Beth such a wonderful person, but she has the knowledge, experience and the credentials to back it up. It was very important to me to find someone who had the best training and certifications to perform electrolysis. I researched places for a very long time and non were as forthcoming with their training and equipment they used as Laser Affair. After Mary Beth explained the process so thoroughly I knew I had found the place for me! She really goes above and beyond to make sure you understand everything, and to make sure you are physically comfortable while getting an effective treatment. I can't recommend Laser Affair enough!! read more

I've had prior experience with this and I can confidently say that Mary Beth is knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly passionate with not only her career but with customer service. She is SO busy and by her packed schedule alone you can tell that she has many clients...and for a good reason! She is located within a plastic surgeon's office so there's always a doctor nearby (you never know when you need one) and the room itself is very clean. The prices are competitive, especially for the quality of not only the treatment you get but also the customer service. Mary Beth is incredibly receptive to all common methods of communication such as e-mail, phone, and even texting! read more

I had the BEST experience at Laser Affair. Mary Beth was honest and kind and I always felt like she had my best interests in mind. Jeanette, my technician, was thorough and detailed, and listened to my questions and concerns. I had been wanting laser hair removal for ten years, and the results have been incredible. I am so grateful I found Laser Affair. read more

If you're looking for a reputable place to get laser hair removal done - this is it. Not only are Mary Beth and Jeanette highly certified and professional, but they are great people all around. Their prices match the quality of their work and they even give out great deals. They are highly skilled and know which areas hurt more than others, and will even remember your hair progress and keep that in mind when they fix your settings. Personally, my conversations with them have been so great that I don't even concentrate on the pain! I highly recommend Laser Affair to anyone looking to get laser hair removal done. They are clean, efficient, and kind - I could not say more good things about them. read more

Laser hair removal is something I've wanted for awhile and last year I finally decided to take the plunge. I'd read horror stories and bad reviews about other laser hair removal companies like Ideal Image so I was little hesitant and not sure who I could trust to deliver great service for the right price. I did some searching on Yelp and Google and found the great reviews about Mary Beth and Laser Affair. I'm here to tell you that the hype is real! During my consultation, Mary Beth explained in extensive detail how the laser works, how many treatments I would most likely need and what I could expect as far as results. I have a tan-olive complexion and Mary Beth was not sure if my skin tone would work. Darker complexions can sometimes burn from the laser. I appreciated her honesty and I knew then that I could trust Mary Beth because she was not about to charge me for services and use the laser on me anyway if she didn't expect it would work or burn me. Luckily, after a few test spots with the laser, she determined it would work well with my tan complexion. I had about 6-7 treatments and not once did I burn or experience any discomfort. Her prices are reasonable and you can pay as you go. She was also extremely flexible with appointments and worked with my schedule. It's been about a year since my last laser appointment, and the areas treated have had virtually no regrowth. Every now and then I'll notice a few soft hairs which are so light you can barely see them, but that's normal. I cannot tell you how much time and money I've saved not having to buy razors or pay for waxes. Not to mention the confidence of having smooth skin, which is priceless. I'm already thinking about going back to have more areas treated, and I won't go to anyone else but Mary Beth! read more

I've been going to Mary Beth at Laser Affair for a while now, for hair removal on multiple areas and my only regret is not writing a review earlier. She's friendly, professional, respectful, and experienced. She uses the best products and equipment, unlike the mainstream hair removal places. My results have been lasting and long term, even in the most relentless areas. Mary Beth diligently and meticulously conducts your treatment and makes you feel comfortable at the same time. I highly recommend Laser Affair. read more

Mary-Beth was an amazing and super professional lady! i had laser removal on my abdomen, areola, chin, upper lip, and a few sessions on my under arms. Its been a year and my belly was the BEST results! My chin needs a touch up but that's common and my chin hair is SUPER stubborn. Mary-Beth even bought me a box of chocolate for Christmas! I love her and would definitely recommend her to anyone! read more

I hardly ever write reveiws but felt that Mary Beth from Laser Affair deserved some positive feedback. I initially learned about Laser Affair from online reviews and read mostly positive things so I went in for a free consolutation. Mary Beth was very informative and organized and even did a few test spots for me for free. She seems very knowledgable about what she's doing. Pros: 1. EXCELLANT customer service. She available to answer questions at any time. Just text/call her. 2. Very professional 3. Well informed and organized 4. Will come in on the weekends and accomodate her schedule to yours 5. Willing to negotiate on pricing somewhat (which the largers spas will not do) CONS: 1. Prices are a slightly higher than other places and less likely to find a Groupon deal given that she works for herself as opposed to the larger spas. 2. Too pricey if you're going just for touch-ups. Overall, if you're new to laser hair removal or looking for someone to go to, try Laser Affair. read more

This was my first experience with laser hair removal and it has been a treat! The staff is so kind and make you as comfortable as possible during your visit. I have seen such great results. I highly recommend Laser Affair to anyone who is on the edge about laser hair removal! read more

I usually don't do very many reviews. I don't like writing them and I am not the best writer. I will only do a review if I am impressed with a service that I feel very strongly about. I have done lots of research about laser hair removal and was quite afraid of getting this service done but decided to do it only because I had read that Mary Beth was the best and actually cared about her clienteles comfort and their pocketbook. Without a doubt this experience exceeded my expectations, First of all there is no high pressure sales. No paying up front for X amount of visits. She explains everything thoroughly and professionally and makes sure you understand exactly what her expectations are as far as results goes. Today was my second visit. I decided to wait until my 2nd visit before I did this review so that I would be able to write something more than telling about how amazingly wonderful and sweet that she is.. Although she is all of that and a truly beautiful lady the most important thing to say is that you will be over the top impressed by the service and results you will receive. After my first visit I went from shaving most of my body on a daily basis to only needing a once a week shave on most parts. My underarms I shaved twice in 5 weeks! If you are worried about the discomfort then you should stop. Very little discomfort and amazing results with an extremely great value. Without a doubt the very best that Tampa or probably anywhere else has to offer. read more

Mary Beth is Amazing! She's not only a sweetheart, but also very professional and knows what she's doing. I started my sessions with her months ago. I first went for a consultation session, she explained everything in details (the machine, skin types, results, pain level, ... Etc) At first I started on my legs and underarm, and as I knew her better and got very comfortable with her, I kept adding more areas of my body :D One more great thing about her, she's very prompt to replying to emails (I like this very much), and she welcomes discussing any concerns u have before, during or after the session. I'm having great results! If u r thinking of a laser hair removal , go to Mary Beth , you won't regret it! read more

My experience with Mary Beth has been wonderful so far. During my first visit, she took time to explain the entire process (something i had never experienced before) and made the removal process as comfortable as possible. The treatment room is always very clean. She is very professional and friendly. I am on my 3rd treatment and am pleased with the results i have seen thus far. I look forward to continuing my treatments with her. I recommend Laser Affair to everyone! read more

I loved both Mary Beth and my results so much, this is only my second yelp review in years! The moment Mary Beth shook my hand it was as if she was family. The consultation was thorough, passionate, comforting and she didn't rush. She operates out of a surgeon's office and her room is spotless. I heard both horror and success stories from people who had laser hair removal and I didn't know what to expect, Mary Beth put me at ease. I received treatment on my lip, chin, underarms, bikini, upper leg, knee and happy trail. One would think that I would be in pain and it would be a dreadful session. Nope! Mary Beth and I shared stories, laughed and talked about life. Next thing I knew it was over. I was skipping out of the office so happy and couldn't wait to see the results from my first treatment. *My results exceeded my expectations. Prior to my treatment, I had to shave every day; it's been 4 weeks and I've picked up the razor only ONCE (no joke). I have been looking forward to my second treatment for weeks! The only regret I have is I didn't do my lower leg. What are you waiting for, book your appointment today!!! read more
