Everyone was welcoming and my nail tech did a good job. He was modest and friendly but mostly polite and making sure I was ok with his work, at all times. i came here as a walk in to get my current gel nails drilled/soaked off and a natural manicure with clear coat. no color or anything fancy, just removal and clear coat. the old man who did my nails was polite, and the establishment was pretty clean. however i was surprised when i checked out to find out that my basic removal and manicure cost 32$. This is a family owned nail salon and they are definitely very kind and patient people. I have visited this location several times since May of 2021. However, after my last visit on August 19th, 2022 I will not be returning. I am very aware that traditional nail salons use MMA and are motivated by time and money. With that being said, they are very quick but that doesn't mean they use quality products. Around December of 2021 I started noticing that my gel nails would discolor after several days and couldn't understand why. I tried researching online but nothing made sense because I ONLY have this issue when I visit this nail salon. I have another salon that I go to that does great work and while I love nail art I don't always want to spend 3 hours doing my nails which is why I continued visiting Amerinails. I did take a long break from getting full sets from this establishment and only visiting them for a regular manicure and gel pedicures. On August 7th I got a gel manicure and pedicure with the same color. I did not get tips for the manicure and Sally did the best shaping my very short nails. About a week later I noticed that my nails began discoloring again. I visited this location on August 19th with the intention of giving them another try and getting the same color again because I absolutely loved it. During this time I also explained to the owners the dilemma I was having with my nails. They basically told me it was my fault and it couldn't be their products because the same wasn't happening to my feet. I questioned how that could be true and explained that this does not happen when I visit other nail salons. Ken rudely told me that he wasn't going to argue with me but was also kind enough to just paint over my nails again and not charge me. The nails started discoloring again the next day and so did my feet. The location was extremely convenient which is why I kept visiting but it's not worth it since they're definitely on the pricier side. it's been about a week or so since my walk-in at this salon and i've been totally loving my nails!! i don't get my nails done regularly at all and i'm always super anxious about where to go in the first place. my mom & i decided to go on a whim for my birthday and it was so nice!! everyone on staff was both really polite and very quick. my nails came out exactly how i imagined they would !! i have a job that has my hands busy all day, and i haven't experienced any chipping, lifting, or breakage at all in the last week or so. my mom's mani/pedi was also very quick and came out super cute!! overall i really enjoyed my time here and i would definitely recommend this spot :) read more

It took an hour for them to complete my peducure, which is fine. I stayed in the salon another 40 minutes waiting for my toenails to dry. I left with their little plastic shoes to come home it took me 30 minutes to drive home. My toenails are still not dry and the product is literally just wiping off my toes. I called and they offered for me to come back and they would fix it, however, I don't have the time in my schedule this week to do that. My largest pet pieve with any business is when they do the opposite of what I ask for. I've had on acrylic for the past 2 months and came in to get my acrylic removed and a gel manicure. The tech was a senior citizen woman who was very brash and unwelcoming in demeanor. She didn't bother to smile and say hello just welcomed me as I came in the door with "what you want?" I told her I wanted a nail take off and gel manicure. She instructed me to sit at table 3. As she sat down I noticed she immediately reached for a drill. I immediately told her I wanted to keep the strength of my nails and did not want the acrylic drilled off. She said "okay you will have to soak" I responded by saying "that's fine" After about 10 minutes of soaking and wiping off the acrylic she persisted to drill down the remaining acrylic and my own enamel. I was okay with her decision at first l, thinking she would stop before reaching my nail bed. I reminded her that I wanted to keep the strength of my nails and didn't want them to be drilled down to be paper thin. She began to yell and said "there is no other way to take off acrylic!" I informed her that other nail salons were able to soak and push off the remainder acrylic with a metal cuticle pusher. Other than maintaining a professional manner it felt as if she was yelling as means of intimidation and out of frustration. We'd discussed my desired outcome beforehand and at this point I was annoyed with the tech endlessly trying to convince me that I should be okay with her methods of removal. I'm not sure why she opted to increase her voice and continue with her own agenda instead of proceeding with what we originally agreed upon. Didn't seem like she was prepared to come to work during my visit as her negative attitude persisted from start to finish. I'm not sure why she is unaware of acrylic removal procedures as she should be a licensed professional. Healthy nails are now higher in demand and this salon is not prepared to keep up with that trend. I guess I'll be starting over since I'm now stuck with paper thin nails. read more

Got my acrylic nails filled here and would not recommend. The two people that were doing my nails were both rushing. The final product is much shorter than I asked for, because they just kept filing and filing. This adorable small salon, is located in a small plaza off of bears and Livingston. LOVED the look inside very clean and cute, I enjoyed the lightning and the comfort of the pedicure stations. Now it has been a few months since I've been in Tampa and this was my first visit to this salon. Pros- atmosphere and cleanliness. However... For the momentum of the store we experienced on graduation week here at USF, they had 3 techs and constant flow. My suggestion would be call in advance for an appointment: or come in knowing your service wait may be longer. My friend and I got regular pedicure and acrylic gel full set and we walked out 3 hours later.... The work itself was beautiful, they took their time, scrubbed and rubbed without a rush. And I appreciate that! But three hours is a tad too long. Knowing Tampa if you are in the area here and want to miss traffic come early or after because to leave the plaza with the flow of traffic is the worst! My normal nail saloon was closed so I decided to come here for a normal, simple polish change on my toes and they came out so messy! I am so disappointed because there are missed spots on my nail and there is nail polish all over them. I had to ask the lady to fix them two times and when i put the flashlight over them in my car I saw how terrible they look. Beware! not too thrilled with services. argued about not wanting shellac. even though i came in with shoes. the lady suggested i get shellac. i brought two others with me. who get deluxe pedicures, and i'm under the same impression i'm getting the same since we all came in together and asked for the same. the two customers i brought with me were male. i asked for a menu and she gave me two options pedicure with regular or with shellac. shortly after the worst pedicure of my life. i asked the lady was i getting the same as the guys next to me. she said no. you get regular. i asked if i could upgrade to deluxe pedicure lady told me i can't bc it's totally different. so essentially i paid for the same exact service as the two deluxe pedicures which included a nice massage, where apparently a regular one gets you BARE minimal. i argued for about 2 minutes before finally saying fine i'll do gel when i expressed i didn't mind wearing sandals that are normally provided after a pedi. HORRIBLE customer service. worse attitude and won't be coming back here again. this is what i get for walking into a nail shop and not reading reviews. this happened june 2021. gl to them. read more

This place used to be my favorite - close to my house, they remembered my name. About a year or so ago, they sold to new owners and the quality went severely downhill. Today I went, and it will be the last time I go. It was hot and humid inside, had a nasty smell, and half the massage chairs were broken. Well after reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try. I've been looking for a nail salon in Brandon area since August and have always been very skeptical and disappointed. I was in the Tampa area and found this Amerinail yesterday and it was just as the reviews read, clean, personable and very detailed with my pedicure. Keven did my pedicure and he was one of the best nail techs I've had. He was very very detailed and gentle not a single drop of blood no pain nothing. He really took his time and did a wonderful job. I got the regula pedicure at $20.00 and it included not only the hot wax treatment but, also the hot stones. It's those added touches that will keep me driving over 20 miles to get a great pedicure. The place is very clean they also use the disposable plastic liners in the foot baths for an extra amount of protection. They have lots of colors to choose from and of course the massage chairs. Keven is from Vietnam Nam but, speaks very good English and we had a great conversation the whole time I was there. It's a man and wife team and they were both genuinely nice. I got pseudomonas aeruginosa on my nails after doing some dip powder with them It's taken me months to treat it and grow my nails out so I don't have to deal with the nasty green hue on my nail bed. Wouldn't recommend this place to people if they want to get a dip powder done. They were so inexpensive too you get what you pay for I suppose. read more

Made in appointment and after fifteen minutes of waiting the lady asked if I had somewhere to be, then told me 5 more minutes. 30 minutes later I walked out after the lady was talking smack to the client she had about me being upset and no one had helped me still. I got gel nails ( not the gel top coat) and a regular pedicure all for 45 dollars. I thought it was over priced considering the outcome of my nails when they were finished. My nails have uneven coating, but my pedicure is ok. The people were nice. The massage chairs need to be replaced. A/C is working properly now. read more

This place is bad. I walked in one night to get my eyebrows waxed. First of all the woman waxing my eyebrows couldn't speak any English at all, not even "hello" which seemed kind of odd to me. I would think that in order to be licensed, one would have to know the basics. Anyways, she proceeded to wax my eyebrows. I could tell that it was hurting a little more than usual but didn't say anything. Upon getting in my car and driving home as well as looking closer in the mirror I could see a huge burn on my eyelid....When I got home, I showed my husband and he was like "whoa what happened to you?". Nevertheless, I called the shop and spoke to the owner I believe named Tony. All he could tell me is that he was "sorry" and that i should just put some neosporin on it??? The next day (today) it has turned red and brown and I'm not sure if it will scar. Not to mention the neosporin cost me $8 dollars and gas...this place is horrible and clearly not following the normal procedures for hot wax. read more
