Ugh, I used to love this place. my last visit made an appt.Arrived the girl that was to do my nails 'forgot' i had an appointment and she took a new client. I didn't want to wait an hour so accepted a different nail tech, unfortunately the nail tech, though very nice not very good. The person that was to do my nails came over and they were both working on my nails at the same time. Not very relaxing. The person that was to do my pedicure was waiting on me. Finally got to sit down for pedi. Everything was going great but before completing they told me she had another client that was waiting on her and someone else would finish me, Hello...I made an appointment and I paid for the services to have her do my pedicure. I was there or over 3 hours. Never again.... I miss Angela, when she was there, they had a schedule and never had any issues. read more

Very frustrating since how would I know they close at 6pm if the sign and website said otherwise. I didn't like the unwelcoming feeling I got as well. I won't be back. They were so nice so I feel a little bad about this review but I paid for a service and 4 days later my nails are messed up. I work at home at a computer all day to clarify, so it's not my personal activity causing issues with the nails. He worked very quickly and I love the shape of my nails, however, he didn't have me wash my hands after filing and drilling. So I had powder still on my nails when he laid new acrylic and again after filing and drilling those and adding the paint there was still powder on the nail and nail beds. When he painted my nails he didn't clean off the excess on the sides of my nails and had me put them under the lamp so they dried with excess paint outside of the actual acrylic nail. I wasn't left under the lamp long enough or the polish was old because there are bubbles under the paint that have since popped or torn and I have patches on my nails with chipped paint or no paint left. He didn't know how to do the paint style I asked for and I offered a different, more simple style, but he chose to do my original request. They didn't have the color I wanted so we chose an alternative and I actually love the color we chose so I'm very happy with the color and the shape of the nails and was initially really happy with the nails as a whole but being that it's only been 4 days and they're ruined because of the improper cleaning and application is extremely disappointing to me. This was my first time here though, and the shop is nice, clean and open and the people who work there are nice, so it could have just been a one off thing. But I don't know if I'll be going back. read more

I have waited quite a while to write this review. Typically my experience with nail shops are inconsistent but I am glad to say that is not the issue at Fancy Fingers. Although Fancy is in the name, I wouldn't consider this place fancy however, it's clean, well appointed and the staff is really nice. Prices are reasonable, much better than some of the others I've tried in the area. The shop is in an odd strip mall and can be hard to get out of, no left turns allowed. With that being said I've attached a photo of my 5 day manicure, it's still looking just as fresh. I've got to say I really enjoy this shop and will continue to visit. read more

My daughter and I just got back from treating ourselves to an SNS redo. I've had my tech before so she was able to provide me with the service I wanted. However, my daughter, who is 13, was not listened to in any form or fashion. She had tips placed because she wanted longer nails. The nail tech did not listen and cut her nails down shorter than she asked for. When the tech was using the dremel, the tech cut her skin and then dismissed it when my daughter brought it to her attention. My daughter asked for a narrow coffin style and, well, you can see that's not what she got. She tried to tell the tech but was not listened to in any way. By that point, she didn't feel any complaints she had would be listened or cared about. Thus I left thinking all was well only to have a thoroughly unhappy teenage girl. Perhaps the salon could use a tip selector so that there is a clear understanding of what is being requested. Not everyone is super assertive and I would hate to lose a usually great salon because expectations aren't entirely clear. read more

They do very great work if you're a certain kind of person. The first time I visited I was seated in the last pedi chair which was broken, the pedicure was good especially with the hot stones. Moving on to the fingers the gentleman in the first chair did my fill in and it was excellent. I tipped $20. I was excited to return. On my second visit, Victor, a gentleman in the back did my nails. I remembered the original man saying he was going back home to visit his mother on my initial visit. I tipped $20 on this visit. Little did I know Victor had done a horrible job because the next day the gel polish was coming off of the acrylic nail. I called and was told to come the following day and when I arrived there was an actual bus load of women being served and I was asked again to come back the next day. When I returned the following day the woman in the first chair started on my nails but Victor came in and she spoke to him in their language then she asked me to go back to him so that he could finish. He finished my nails and said to me in a low tone DONT COME BACK! I thought for sure I was mistaken I said, no way could he have said that but I promise you the next day the polish came off again! This is an anomaly for sure it had never happened to me before or since. Needless, to say I had to have my nails repaired correctly at a different salon after this debacle. It's been months since I had my nails done at this salon and I seriously debated writing this but it needs to be known. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the tech rudeness and lack of professionalism, her name is Tammy. Tammy seemed aggravated when I asked to work on the cuticle (this is the reason to go right?). By this being said, I wasn't pleased with her work. I had to constantly tell her to work more here or there, hey I have very small feet and easy to work with. Manicure though was done by Angela and it was perfection! My boyfriend had his mani and pedi done by Lam and she was awesome too! Owner Steve very nice and involved in the satisfaction and quality delivered. The place is very clean and modern. I discovered this salon through a friend. I started coming because they offer SNS power dip nails which are the best brand for dip nails. They usually last 3 weeks. However I dropped a star because some techs are not as good at the dip nails and they come off faster. But most of the time it's 3 weeks. I also love their pedicures! As part of their regular pedi they use a massager.. the kind you see at Brookstone or Sharper Image. And they do the regular massage too. Sometimes I'll splurge for the additional minutes of massage and extra leg pampering. I highly recommend ditching the acrylic nails and try the SNS dip instead. Knocking off a star just because they kept trying to sell me on gel manicure instead, but I would go back. I had to leave another review today after what I witnessed at fancy fingers, and the 1 star review left by user Shannen M. I've gone to fancy fingers for years and am always blown away by Steven and Angela's clean, well kept and beautiful salon! I watched this particular customer throw a fit and yell at the salon owner over her nails, but refused to let him fix them. He kept offering to fix them to which she declined. The funniest pet is he kept asking what she didn't like about them and she didn't say anything, just got angry. And then demanded over and over that it should be free. It was honestly comical. She even pulled a "let me speak to your manager" to the owner! She claimed she didn't have the money to pay for the full service and wanted to get out of there without paying. When she sat down in the chair she asked how much dip was ($38) and said that it's too expensive. Yet she still proceeded to get that knowing the pricing? Make it make sense. $38 is very cheap for dip powder btw. Also fancy fingers has multiple cheaper options (reg manicures $15). She kept saying she didn't have the money to pay and demanded $5 off, saying "it's only $5 you're not gonna take it off even tho I hate my nails!!!" Girl if $5 is soo cheap to u then why don't you just pay it? LOL Then she yelled she's never coming back, and said she's leaving a bad review. Honestly 10/10 entertainment thank u for that Shannen!
