Customer service was great! I went right before people got off work so they got right to me. I had to remove acrylic, so they soaked my nails in foil while I got the pedicure. Pros: walked in with my daughter at 10am without an appt. and was seated right away. Both ladies for the pedicures were very nice. My foot massage was great. Cons: the pedicures were just ok. Toe nails were uneven and I clearly needed an another coat. I didn't notice until later or I would've asked, but the tech should have noticed and said something. My manicure was a disaster. It was a different person and she was nice and really tried but she just wasn't good. Four of my nail beds were bleeding. Also, there was no menu. I didn't know if there were different options for a pedicure (i.e. longer massage, mask for your legs, etc.). There was a bit of a language barrier so I didn't want to ask. I ended up with a regular pedi. I came here because they have 4.5 stars, but this is not a 4.5 stars place. It is a 3 at best and it depends who you get. read more

I am so picky about going to a new nail place especially when I'm traveling. Being the Yelp devotee that I am, I came across this place based on the reviews. It is actually located in the International Plaza by Nordstroms as they have recently moved. They have a wide variety of colors to chose from which is always a plus. I got the Hollywood pedicure which was heavenly. I needed a fill as well which they did with precision. Val was so friendly and even offered me tips of what to check out in Tampa. The space was ver clean and they offer a good variety of colors to choose from. I got dip powder manicure and it turned out great! For $5 fee I has it filed in an almond shape. The dip powder color was $45 before the filing. I really enjoyed my experience. I felt they were very thorough and neat for both the mani and the pedi. The price for the regular pedicure was $25. Tammy did my pedicure and she was amazing! I get dirt under my toe nails and she made sure to get every bit cleaned out. I visited from out of town to get an SNS manicure and gel pedicure. The staff was all very friendly, conversational, and positive during the entire experience. I really loved that the woman doing my mani took her time shaping them and making sure that they looked perfect. I put SNS on top of my real nails, she gave me great advice on how to keep them healthy and strong which I appreciated. The ladies and the gentleman here work really hard and do a good job. I've been 4-5 times for SNS (dipped) manicure and have never had any issues with thickness, unevenness or chipping. They have a great selection of colors too! They take walk-ins and are honest when they know they can't get to you, they don't say yes and then make you wait forever like a lot of other nails salons. Four stars are due to the pedicure lady (I've always had the same older lady), I no longer get pedicures at Luxor because she had literally scrubbed my skin right off on more than one occasion and I've seen other customers experience the same. If they offered a better pedicure I would gladly give them that business too. read more

Down in South Florida, I had my usual place and always saw the same technician, so I had my doubts that I could get as good of a manicure on a whim. Thankfully, the glowing Yelp reviews led me to Luxor Nails, and they did not disappoint! I walked in this afternoon (a Tuesday), and had no wait. I got a gel manicure, and the gentleman who did my nails (I didn't get his name unfortunately) was great! There's nothing worse than getting a rushed manicure, so thankfully he was quite meticulous and definitely took his time. The result was a pristine manicure that looks flawless! This place is definitely a "no frills" sort of salon. It doesn't have the shiny interior some other places have, but it's really the results that count. I did deduct one star because the color selection of their gel polish isn't great... I guess I'm just used to having far more choices. But I wouldn't hesitate for an instant to return because of how beautiful my nails turned out! read more

We were visiting from Colorado and we have no humidity so feet can be super dry if you don't keep up on your self care....we haven't kept up. Most of the time we don't understand what is being said and can become very self conscience because of lack of self care. She spoke Spanish and she had my husband rolling. The place is clean and my nail tech didn't hurt my toe nails when she was cleaning then....which is very important to me, because everytime I go to a Vietnamese nail salon, they dig too hard on my big toes and hurt me so much. She was really good at massaging and working on details. However my gel maicure chipped less than in two weeks was not so pleasant, and she didn't ask how I want my nails to be shaped. At other places I have to wait even if I have an appt. I got the SNS/ Dip and it's always my favorite and I've had it for a little over 2 weeks now and it still look nice just growing out.
