I had a pedi here and it went well. My daughter frequents this place more than me and I like that they take their time either putting on nails or removing them. We had a horrific experience at another local place on Henderson (they ripped off my daughter's nail beds-left bloody), so we are very grateful this place doesn't rush and does a great job!! Friendly service, easy parking. Ty! read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but unfortunately I had a really disappointing experience here. I came in for a soak-off and a pedicure, and I left very unhappy with both the service and the condition of my nails. My toenail polish was applied extremely thick and came out streaky and uneven. During the pedicure, my toe was also cut with the Dremel/drill tool. The soak-off on my fingernails was even more frustrating. I paid to have my previous set properly removed, but I was left with a significant amount of glue/product still on my natural nails. I was told the remaining product would be filed down, but that never happened, and you can clearly see what was left behind in the photos. One of my natural nails had broken and was actively bleeding. I completely understand that the initial break itself was not the technician's fault, and I want to be fair about that. What concerned me was that she still attempted to use the drill on that nail while it was bleeding. Afterward, foil was placed over the injured nail and left there for close to an hour. That made me extremely uncomfortable and felt unsanitary and unnecessarily painful. I understand that nails aren't always going to come out absolutely perfect, but between being cut with the drill, attempting to drill an actively bleeding nail, the incomplete soak-off, and the thick and uneven pedicure, I don't feel the service I received was worth what I paid. I'm including photos because I think they speak for themselves. Unfortunately, I would not return. read more

The salon was clean, relaxing, and had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The nail service was done with great attention to detail, and everything came out looking polished and well done. Kimmy is the best. Can always do what I'm envisioning and always recommends the best nail color. Right now I'm going natural and she knew exactly how to get me there without them looking horrible while they grow out. Always professional, able to work me in. Always can count on her to get my nails the way I want (which changes often) and doesn't care if I miss a week or two/want to do natural nails for a bit! read more

I requested the jelly pedicure, made an appt online through their website. I got there at my appt time, and was escorted to the pedicure. They started without asking which pedicure, gave me a brochure about 5 minutes in to pick one, and the guy had to ask another co-worker of his what I chose... then the 'jelly' part wasn't very jelly, so had to ask about that. The mud mask was not done, even though it was listed as part of the pedicure. $65 was steep for what was offered. He did do a decent job, but it was the $40 pedicure price. They do offer a complimentary drink so I chose the sangria, which is boxed wine with no ice (just an FYI). read more

I had a Gel X manicure fill here on Friday and it's already chipping off after less than 2 days. Not at all worth the time and price. The front edges of my nails weren't properly sealed. I have been coming to Capucci for a year and was always so satisfied and would recommend to all my friends... however todays pedicure was very disappointing to say the least let alone 70$ for the spa pedicure which was lotion and a scrub to the legs. I'm never one to leave a bad review but I will be finding a new salon for my toes. the girl who did my nails seemed like she didn't know what she was doing literally asked if they were filed good and they were uneven and rigid I felt so uncomfortable having to ask her to fix thing after thing. each step she would ask if it's ok... the massage chair also didn't work and she was like that's ok so I asked to live to a working one.... sadly I wont be going back for a pedicure:( read more

I'm a nail salon snob so to give a 5 star review is a big deal. I came across this place based on location and the positive reviews. The atmosphere inside is clean and spacious. Everyone I met was extremely friendly. The color choices were amazing! Another big plus in my book. There's a variety of different type of pedicures. I recommend the Volcano which was very relaxing. Complimentary refreshments are offered even adult beverages. . Diana was the person who did my pedicure and Gel X set. She took her time and did a great job! I will definitely be back! read more

Being a now part time resident of Tampa, I've been looking for a nail place here. I did a Google search and this was the only place with a solid 5-star review of those that I looked at. I normally only post pics, and not reviews for nail salons but this place warranted one. I was very impressed from the minute I walked in. It was bigger than I thought, and so clean. I was immediately greeted and went to check in for my appointment. I was a tad confused when I booked my appointment because there are so many choices, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. When I booked, I didn't choose a particular person so when I got there, the guy up front called to the back to make sure they were ready for me. This was new but I liked it. The reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because I was not offered anything to drink, I had to ask for one. However their selection was large! They had an actual bar which was nice. I had a basic margarita and it was pretty good. At the end, there was no lotion or oil massage which I thought was unusual. Throughout my service I was asked a few times if everything was okay. Overall it was a pleasant visit and I'll definitely be back. My nails look great for my birthday and that's all I wanted. read more

I'm new to the area and was looking for a nail salon for regular manicures and pedicures. I tried several in the Tampa/Brandon area but wasn't happy/fully satisfied with cleanliness or the service received. I went to Capucci Nails on a very busy Sunday afternoon (day before 1st day of school) and was very pleased. I made an appointment online that morning for any available technician and was assigned to Mia. The check in process was quick and easy. Mia is an absolute delight! Im new to Tampa and walked by PiaDay Spa. It is well established and tons of reviews so I figured they must be doing something right. I ended up purchasing a facial with microdermabrasion and a scalp treatment which wasn't inexpensive by any means but it's a day spa and you pay for that time to get your treatment and relax. Timing wise, these two services alone would both have me at the spa for at least two hours. -----I was there for an hour and 25 minutes. Aside from being gipped on time considerably, the estheticians technique was rushed, and lacked serious intention. The overall vibe was lackluster and inexperienced (just doing a job to have a job ) I felt like I wasted my money a little bit so I was disappointed!
