This place was okay but I will not be coming back. I visited 2 days in row. First time was to get a pedicure with my mom the day before my gel polish appointment. The place is a little small but decent. We got 2 pedicure which were decently priced but one of the nail techs wanted to charge me for doing a stone massage during my mom's pedicure session when she clearly didn't. She continued to blame us for not paying attention to her doing what we paid for because my mom was on her phone scrolling but in reality she did not and my nail tech confirmed that she did not given that my mom and I were seated next to each other. I went the next day for my gel polish which was with an independent nail tech renting table there which went okay. I personally wouldn't recommend this establishment because of my experience. I have a nerve condition in my foot and the tech was SO careful not to touch it - I TRULY appreciated his kindness! The business is large so they can take care of many at a time. I noticed that many are repeat customers and their tech knew their name, which must be difficult, but it's full service here. They have a small bar, but I was here before lunch so I didn't want to be the only one! ;-D Parking. Well, it's tricky but we went around only once and nabbed a spot. I visited Fancy Nails on a Sunday morning. They were moderately busy. I was able to get to in for a pedicure immediately though. They have several different pedicure options ranging from a quick pedicure to a "Volcano pedicure". I opted for the "fancy pedicure" which was a "regular pedicure" with a 10 minute neck massage. I was so excited about this part! The regular pedicure also includes a 10 minute foot and let massage. Love to relax and be pampered. The girl that did my nails took time and paid attention to my needs. She did not rush and was not trying to get out of there as quickly as possible like with some nail salons. The salon is in a strip center and is nothing special on the outside. Actually, I was a little concerned but went by great the reviews. Inside the salon is updated, clean and new feeling. Reliable place! I was seen quickly both times I've been but it does get busy so it's better to call ahead than walk in. Overall clean place and they offer pretty much anything you want. I got acrylics and minimal design. I highly recommend pre-requesting a nail tech as not all have the skill set required for nail art. I also had my eyebrows waxed which was quick and easy. The original nail art I asked for with the pink nails in the photo was a geode/marble looking design that I didn't think was too complicated, but it was a total fail, so I decided to go with a simple line design instead. Honestly, it still wasn't great and I wasn't thrilled with the results, but I can't complain about the service itself. The location is great, but parking is a bit tight so it's better to go earlier in the day. Unfortunately I was there for two hours. Two hours. I did a GEL mani and regular pedi. I have no idea why it was that long. I get craftsmanship but I was itching to leave. But why three stars? I wanted my nails more narrow. After they were cut down the nail technician sanded so hard into the side of my nail it actually cut me. I had felt it harder before but I figured it'd be over. And I was wrong. I had to jump back and ask the technician to stop. My nails...they cute. But I personally wouldn't rush back. Sometimes helps to stick with who or what you know. Okay, first...please know that I understand your need or desire for a nice, relaxing pedicure mom, but please understand that your children impact mine. I have spent the last 30 - 45 minutes listening to your children play. I love kids, don't get me wrong, but like you, I am here to relax and enjoy my pedicure. I won't hold this against my technician though, it would be unfair. What was good about my experience? I was immediately greeted and advised to pick out a nail polish. I was shown to a chair and offered water or soda. I asked about wine and was advised that it was free with a Deluxe Pedicure ($40.00) no problem, but when I asked for a bit more wine (I even said to add it to my bill) my technician nodded yes but that was the end of it. Someone else picked up my empty glass and removed it. The massage was a bit to strong for my liking. Did she ask if it was okay? Yes she did, but when I said "A little too much, too hard" she smiled and kept right on going. It isn't a bad place, don't get me wrong; maybe I just hit it on an off day service wise. Pedi wise? Let me preface this update by saying that it truly troubles me having to write this update because I loved this nail salon and everything that I wrote before stands true; but what happened recently has made me change how I see it. I went to fill in my acrylics after waiting for a couple of weeks. In this time I changed my colors myself, played with them and did all sorts of other stuff but they didn't look great with my overgrown natural nail anymore. I went nice and early, I was promptly serviced (they're truly efficient) and this time it was a different guy. He was attentive and quick. When he removed the nail polish I noticed a dark spot under my index fingernail but thought that maybe it was dirt and didn't worry too much. He continued doing his job, filing away until he got to that finger. He got a different file (pointy tapered one) and started filing under my "dirty" index and the spot didn't go away. After prodding and filing (and the spot still there) he just said "You play with dirt? Haha." and didn't remove the nail to clean it or to figure out what was there, he just layered on more acrylic and kept on going. This truly bothered me because I thought it might be a bacterial infection, so as soon as I got home I started removing my freshly filled-in nails; starting by the index nail. What I found was truly disgusting (refer to pictures to see it) I didn't know whether it was a chunk of my nail falling or what, but it looked "unhygienic" to say the least. I filed whatever it was away myself and soaked it with lots of alcohol just in case and it eventually fell. This only tells me that the tools they're using are filthy and rarely even disinfected, which in my opinion is simply not right. If you still decide to visit this place, do it under your own risk and keeping in mind that what they use on you might have been used on plenty of other people without being cleaned in between you and the other clients. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for about 3 months and usually have a great experience but the last two times I've gone have been different. I usually go to a specific nail tech but I did not have time to make an appointment before I went on a trip. I was a walk-in and got my nails done with dip and within a week they were lifting, which has never happened to me before. I wish I had taken photos of my nails at that time, but I hadn't. After I got back from my trip I made an appointment to get them done by the nail tech I usually go to but she was booked up so I got them done by a nail tech that has done my best friends nails and explained to them how it had been a week and my nails had lifted and asked for some kind of compensation for this. I got $10 off for compensation. The pictures I have attached are of the nails I just got done and you can see lines at the tip of my nails...needles to say I will not be coming back to this nail salon. read more

Let me start by saying...I was already annoyed My friend DRAGGED ME IN HERE THE MORNING OF GASPARILLA BECAUSE SHE JUST HADDDD TO GET HER NAIL REPLACED and that turned into and entire fill and a manicure for me. It seemed crowded to me but the man doing my friend's fill, said wasn't. It seemed like a nice salon, with 2 rooms full of manicure chairs. It was my first time here so I'm not sure how busy it gets. However...The person doing my friend's nails, was much more interested in our conversation than he was to get her done and out of there. Not only that, HE KEPT MAKING SMART REMARKS THAT IRRITATED ME EVEN MORE!! I actually had to tell him TO WORRY ABOUT HER NAILS AND NOT WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT! The guy's attitude was a problem for me. I don't care if that's his personality or if it's cute to him. My manicure was AVERAGE AT BEST and it ended abruptly. So abrupt that I didn't know that it HAD ended. UH, YEA! Bad customer service experience for me but other women seemed to like it here. I know I'm not coming back unless I have to.
