Our nails came out fine, but the service left a lot to be desired. We were helped by the one man that was in the store. He told us to sit down and immediately started helping one of us and we were told the other would be helped soon. Little did we know that entailed him completing one pedicure before starting the other. There were many other workers in the store which made it confusing as to why we had to wait for one person to help both of us. In addition, the service itself was very plain. Again the polish came out fine, but he didn't scrub our feet or give us a massage. Plus the hot towel was dropped over both our legs and then taken off a few seconds later. Also the man smelled very strongly of an ashtray, and was continually coughing throughout helping both of us. Not to mention we were not given the option for anything other than the basic pedicure. We were walk-ins, but the place was not busy. Upon paying is when we discovered we could have gotten the hot stones or paraffin wax. Very disappointing. read more

I stumbled upon this place on a window shopping trip to South Tampa Saturday afternoon. I decided to do a walk-in pedicure appointment. Due to the high volume of people getting service done, the wait was pretty long for me. Once I picked my nail color, they sent me to one of the available spa chairs to soak my feet. It took a good while (approximately 30 minutes) to get my pedicure started. The person who did my toes did a very good job. She shaped my nails nicely and there were no gaps. However, this place may not be ideal if you're strapped for time as my toes had to be air dried. They did not have a drying blower machine to quicken up the process. The quality of the Decore was on point. Very clean, neat environment. There appears to be a lot of locals who social with each other and the staff at this location. The staff appears to be relatively friendly. I would definitely try this place again, but at an earlier time in the day for quicker service. read more

This nail place was love at first sight when I first found it almost 2 years ago. I moved away from South Tampa and started going to another nail place, huge mistake! When it comes to my nails, I am extremely demanding. Let me tell you something, since I moved to Tampa a year ago, this has been my secret spot to do my nails. Lets start with the pedicure spa chairs. They are amazing. Nothing better than to get a nice massage in one of those chairs while having a pedicure. The service is great. The owners are super cool and always smiling. The nail stations are super clean and the staff is very professional and friendly. I get my nails done at least every three weeks with Tracy. I've visited this salon around 4 times and received a pedicure, gel manicure and regular manicure (non gel polish). I would say this is a salon with a modern interior which is nice. I've enjoy the majority of my services. Pros: nice owner who is regularly present, good selection of colors and brands. Including regular and gel polish. Nice people and decent prices. $35 for mani & pedi (non gel). Vanny was my most recent nail tech and she was friendly and did a good job. Cons: I noticed the pumice stone was used. These are cheap. I will ask for a new one to be used next time. During a prior visit a younger gentlemen did my nails and he buffed the heck out of my nails. To a point where I had to ask him to stop so they weren't paper thin. I don't think he fully understood what I was saying so I got kind of annoyed. (This was not my experience with my most recent visit thought.) If I get gel at this salon in the future I will make sure the owner or Vanny does it. My daughter had her nails done for a special occasion. They added glitter to the acrylic when we didn't want it. Some nails had more glitter then others. Then they didn't want to fix. She also had a crooked nail when she brought it to his attention he said the tip of the nail was crooked because the nail bed was crooked and that he could over compensate to "fix it" . 4 days after and the acrylic is lifting already. I see that other people gave this place good reviews and maybe it was an off day, but with so many nails places in South Tampa to choose from, I won't be going back to this place. read more

We booked same day appointments for three mani/pedis. On arrival we picked colors and then were directed to pedicure chairs where we soaked for a really long time before anyone started us. The same girl did all three of us. She was very sweet and pleasant. I really enjoyed the service but it took over 2.5 hours for all three of us. I decided to give this place a try given I was in the area running errands and just needed a gel manicure. They were very friendly, however upon getting my manicure, I noticed the lady was not really paying attention while pushing back my cuticles with the device. When she got to my middle finger, she was talking to someone and pushed too hard back and I pulled my hand back in pain. She immediately tried to imply it was my fault saying, "oh it's your nail" and I started bleeding. She applied antiseptic and applied pressure however the bleeding did not stop after 5 minutes. She kept trying to drench my finger with antiseptic and I told her to stop and that pressure will stop it. She then pulled out super glue after the owner came over and I said absolutely not! Needless to say, it was very painful and now one and a half weeks later it is very swollen and I am now on antibiotics. I was told they use new devices with each client which are sharp (well if you know this then you should be more gentle), however I can't prove that. DO not recommend this place based solely on the lady that did my nails whose name I do not remember and the fact the owner and the tech wanted to use super glue on my nail. Lets hope the antibiotics work...Please be careful going to salons and make sure all techs have their license hanging up and they use new devices. read more

Nice staff however I was lied to. I only got a manicure with polish. That was fine, however to pay five extra dollar for polish (which I was told they would last 7-10 days). The polish began chipping the next day,. There should not be an extra charge for regular polish. I'll never go there again. ... I'd just like to say maybe it was the manufacturing company's fault that their polish doesn't last 10 days. However there shouldn't be an addition charge for this polish. read more
