I have tried a few other nail salons in the area and they don't compare to the quality, efficiency, and friendly service at Envy Nail. The two nail techs working were very kind and did a great job on our nails. My sister and I each got a gel manicure and we loved how our polish turned out and appreciated that they had so many colors to choose from. It's been almost a week since our manicures and our nails still look freshly done. The salon was spacious, clean, and there is a lot of parking outside. Overall, this is such a nice nail salon and I can't wait to come back again to get my nails done! read more

I've been a regular at Envy Nail Spa for almost 4 years now and I recommend it to everyone. Convenient location & easy parking. Bright, clean open atmosphere. The staff is fantastic, so sweet and welcoming. The owner is great too and super talented at acrylics/nail art. He's hilarious and fun to talk to. A straightforward, honest, hardworking guy. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails now, honestly. Envy's pedicures are amazing too, there are lots of options (I recommend the Ice Dancer one) and the ladies are so sweet every time. Genuinely the best and friendliest nail salon I've found in Tampa Bay. People who work here are nice and do good work. They've done acrylic fill, gel, dip, pedicure and a regular manicure for me. I am baffled at how this place got such high reviews. I had an appointment and still had to wait quite a bit to get started. I even had to remind them that I had been waiting and what was going on. I feel like my entire service was rushed. I barely got any treatment during the pedicure, and my dip manicure is the worst I've ever gotten. There is still glue under my nails. They aren't filed uniformly. And my thumb on my right hand can still see some of the dip powder that was covered and sealed properly. I can't believe I paid this much money for such an awful job. read more

I came in at 5:30 to get a gel manicure, they close at 7:30, and the lady I had rushed so much. She'd paint my pinky and ring finger, and put those in the lamp to cure, paint my other pinky and ring finger, take my first hand out, put the other one in, paint the remaining fingers, and repeat. So they had like 10 seconds to cure. At the end, there was top coat all around my finger tips. Two days later, my top coat with chrome is cracking off, probably because it didn't have time to set correctly. read more

I will never shut up about how much I love this place. The nail techs are the kindest sweetest people, and my nails always look phenomenal. I initially came here because the reviews mentioned how affordable it is and since I always get something simple I thought I'd try it out, but wow this place is a true hidden gem. I've never been much of a loyal customer to any nail salon -- I usually just google the nearest one to me and call it a day. But I was so impressed by the quality of the work and the atmosphere that I have been coming back consistently for the passed 6 months. I usually come in with some inspo photo I found online and my nail tech makes all my wishes come true. My nails always come out looking even better than what I wanted. Also, Kim is amazing and I absolutely love her. I call Kim my good luck charm because she is the nail tech I went to right before I got engaged and now I refuse to go to anyone else. We exchanged numbers so I'm able to get her availability whenever I know I'll need an appointment soon. She goes above and beyond for her customers, including letting me schedule an appointment before or even way after business hours. Words don't describe how incredible she is and how much I appreciate her. If you have a chance to book with her, definitely take it. She's the best read more

Less than 7 days after a pedi and my polish was chipping. This place is pretty & I've only been here once so I wasn't going to review thinking MAYBE me and the bestie caught them on a bad day...but a bad pedicure combined with polish that doesn't last means I won't be going back. I should've thought twice when I walked into a place that had ONE customer being served. Issue number 1: there's only one other customer in the entire place yet you sit me & my best friend directly next to them without any "personal space"...why?? Were you expecting a crowd that never showed up? Issue number 2: my tech never said hello, my name is, which pedicure would you like, is the water temperature ok, NOTHING. I had to specifically ask for the pedicure menu which only had 3 pretty boring options anyway. Not sure which she would have defaulted to if I hadn't asked for the list? And the tech working with my friend asked me if I wanted a water, thankfully. Maybe my tech didn't speak English. Issue 3: I had to guess what her hand taps meant because she sure wasn't assisting me. I think I was tap one time, bend your leg, two taps means put your foot back in the water? Every other pedicure I've ever had, the tech would take my foot and do what she needs with it. This was annoying. I know how petty it sounds but it would've been less frustration if she just told me what she needed. Issue number 4: the massage, or lack thereof, was awful. Don't advertise your pedicure coming with a massage if it's merely rubbing lotion on my skin. I can do that myself. Went because of awesome Yelp ratings but there's too many other options to repeat any place that is less than amazing. read more

This nail salon is a hidden gem! I decided to get my nails done here after reading the Yelp reviews and I am so glad I did! I called around 11 to book two pedicures for my mom and I, and booked at the time I was hoping for. Everyone was very welcoming, sweet and funny and they had a great selection of polishes. The chairs are very nice and comfortable and everything was quite clean and it smelled good and not just like nail polish. The salon is new and beautiful, with gleaming floors and brand new chairs. All the workers were very friendly and welcoming. I was the only customer in there on a Friday afternoon, so most of the employees were just relaxing. This also involved re-watching and providing running commentary on the Olympic figure skating routines on the big screen television. My technician did a great manicure on my fingernails. She offered useful advice when I was wavering between colors. I do wish she had put a third coat of gel on, though, because my nails turned out to be a bit more translucent than I prefer. I will definitely be back because I loved that use sanitary equipment and how neat and clean everything seemed. read more

I made an appointment and had to wait about ten minutes . The nail tech sat me and I shared I would like a basic nail design. She rushed me and said someone else would help. From there, I was told me pedicure would start first. I sat in water for 40 minutes before the technician helped me. The nail tech barely removed my cuticles. I requestEd parffin wax and was told I couldn't get it because it wasn't ready. When it was time for my manicure, the technician removed minimal cuticles. At this point I didn't bother to say anything because it was taking too long. What was alarming to me is I witnessed multiple customers get turned away because they were too busy. However, when younger teenage girls requested service they accepted. They overbooked and had people waiting an extended amount of time. The price is affordable, but I will not return. read more

I want to start with the positives: the salon is clean and the staff is friendly! If my manicure hadn't aged the way it has I would be writing a very different review. However, as is visible in the photos attached my 10 day old gel manicure is chipping and peeling up around the edges of almost every nail and started to do so within less than a week. I believe this is happening because the lady doing my nails rushed through my manicure. I made an appointment in advance and waited almost 15 minutes after my appointment time to be seen and was on a time crunch - I asked while my pedicure was being done if she would have time to complete my manicure as well given the delay and she assured me she did. I wish she would have just told me she could not and I could have scheduled a time to come back later! I don't appreciate getting subpar outcomes just so they get another paid service instead of just being honest about what can be accomplished in a set amount of time. read more

I came to this location based off of the reviews i read on here. Once i came in, i sat down in the pedicure seat and looked through the colors and genuinely didn't find anything i liked enough. I found a photo online and asked the woman doing my pedicure if she had acrylic for my toes. She replied with "You don't need acrylic on your toe, you have nice nail bed." She continued and continued and i explained to her that THAT was what i and my boyfriend wanted. She followed with " We no have acrylic for your toe" and she INSISTED i pay extra and get gel instead on my toes. Personally, i don't choose to get gel on my toes bc my toes never chip as is so i would rather not pay extra (to avoid something that rarely ever happens anyway). Therefore, that was out of the question. Once, i realized i wasn't getting anywhere with her, i wasn't going to get what i asked for, and i didn't really see a color i liked enough to put on my toes. I told her to give me a basic pedi and and leave my toes unpainted. Which is something i would NEVER do. Just based off body language and tone, i could tell she was pissed off. I called two days later asking if they had acrylic for the toes and the "manager" said yes. And i proceeded to explain the issue i had with one of his employees, also explaining to him that i paid 85$ for the service and even tipped the women $10 who was aggressive, pushy, and rude and how i genuinely was not satisfied. That was the a big mistake. Because this MANAGER got loud with me, would not let me fully talk (without being interrupted by him) and he had the nerve to make sure i couldn't speak to the woman who did my nails. When she came up to the counter; he told her to go to the back. Never in my life have i ever experienced customer service like this.This manager even had other customers in the store that day (once i went to the store) trying to side with him. He never once offered the service that i was asking for. He just argued and embarrassed me in-front of everyone receiving service that day. I was really liking this salon but will not go back after my rude experience with this one female nail tech. I was listening to an audio book while she was doing my nails and wanted to change it and she goes come on come in rushing me. I'm paying money for a mail service don't rush me and give me anxiety here. Then I bumped my hand on the side of the uv dryer and she complains oh come on you keep messing up , I did it twice. I was having g a really hard day this day as well the last I need is a rude nail tech. Then I'm talking on the phone telling my friend how I'm stressed during the pedicure. She goes you must be stressed your face has broken out, like what. Come on you guys really need better customer service this is not okay. Then I felt pressured to tip which I totally shouldn't have I wish I would have spoken up while I was there and said something to her or the manager. What a waste of 100. read more

My nails look nice but the tech could stand to be more sanitary. Previous customer sneezed into her hands, some nasty old lady...but tech continued doing her nails. When it was time for me to sit there, I had to tell tech to wash her hands. Common sense. read more

Recently my gel from another nail place lasted for 3 weeks, but it was amazingly done. Nonetheless, I wasn't happy when my nails chipped less than one week after so I called the business and spoke to the owners, his name is Tuan. He was really nice. He said that to come back and he'll take care of it. It took me sometime until I was able to but he ended up honoring free Regular pedicure. I like this place, while I didn't have good out come the first time, I am still happy that it's a friendly environment and that they greet you nicely. Will return

I am sick of overpriced 25 minute pedicures. She worked hard and did an excellent job! The place is clean and they gave me water and they were playing Christmas music! Love it!

One week later and the polish began to chip. I went in to have it fixed and also give them another shot this time getting pedicure. Again, I was nothing but rushed. Not an enjoyable experience at all. By far THE WORST PEDICURE I have ever had. And I love a good pedicure. My nails that she had to fix look worse than they did. Tiffany put a color on that doesn't match the others. I brought it to her attention. She said she's to busy today I can come back again tomorrow if I would like. No thank you! I will return to my regular salon with people that take their time and do a good job the first time. It's a shame it's a nice looking salon in the heart of a corporate district.
