I should start out saying that I'm not big into getting my nails done. I can't stand any length to my fingernails, and it makes me practically disabled because I feel like I can't even tie my shoes. LOL But!...I do like some color on my toes. I get regular polish (not gel), and the great staff at Glamour Nails applies it with perfection, and it lasts for weeks just like gel! It's a great way to do something for myself. Everyone is friendly. The shop is peaceful and comfortable. The prices are on par with other locations. There's really nothing to dislike as far I know! By far the worst nail service I've ever received. I asked to remove my current gel nail and get a set of gel-x. It seems like no one knows how to do the set. My tech took an hour just to remove my nail, and took another 2 hours to apply the set, and asked another girl to paint my nails. The nails were crooked, thick, fat and all together just extremely terrible looking even the gel polish were all over the cuticles. They were nice to ask me to come back to get it fix another day but who would want to come back and stay there another 3 hours for a set of nails when this set typically take less than an hour everywhere else. My $75 gel pedicure was great. Pricey but no complaints. I didn't research the local spots or prices. I was offered a basic mani and said no thank you. Then she told me again how awful they looked and she'd make them look nice. I buckled, paid the $20 and they look the same, just shiny. I was also asked to bring cash for tip next time, so the tech doesn't have to wait weeks to get paid. (Good to know for future pedicures) *edited: After being told this gel would last longer, my gel color faded after 10 days on my toes. I won't be returning to this establishment. read more

I highly do not recommend going here. I have been getting pedicures every three weeks for close to 30 years. For the past year or so (ever since they have opened) I have been going here due to convenience of the location. I am not one to schedule appointments with my hectic schedule so I just do walk in and request first available. About 6 months ago I received a pedicure and the girl literally made me bleed on my heel from scrubbing way to hard with the pumice (I had no issues so there was no reason to scrub that hard). Long behold about 6 months later I got the same girl and the same thing happened. This has never in my life happened before and then it happens by the same pedicurist twice! After the second time I asked for the manager. Apparently it's a new manager named Cassie. So that there was no scene, and to ensure other customers could not hear, I quietly explained what happened, for the second time, and asked that something be done to prevent other customers from being injured and frankly because it should just not be happening. Instead of apologizing, or being accountable, she shockingly accused me of trying to take advantage of them. Mind you I never asked for any discount on the service as I brought this to her attention. This was completely appalling, offensive, shocking and flat out unacceptable. Also, as I was getting my pedicure, I could hear another customer at the register very unhappy as she was leaving. This new manager is rude, negligent, completely unprofessional and will likely run this business to the ground. read more

Brand new nail salon next to the new Publix on Gandy. The inside is really nice, and all the equipment is brand new. I only get a pedicure so I can't speak to the nail service, but the pedicure was good. The prices and level of effort in the pedicures are pretty standard of most nail spas like it. The new chairs and equipment are a plus, and the woman who did my pedicure spent a good amount of time on it. I did wish she spent a little more time paying attention as opposed to chatting with her coworker, but that wasn't too big of a deal. I'll likely come back when I want to just walk in somewhere for a pedi! read more

I had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. I got a mani pedi and my manicure was not good at all. Probably the worst one I ever gotten. He cut my nail before asking me what length I wanted it and it was so short. There was no turning back from there so I was hoping he would even it out, but he didn't. I was left with uneven nails and the polish was all messed up. I was in shock he was going to let me walk out with bubbles on every nail. I asked him to take the polish off and just do clear. He left some white polish on some nails too. I also realized I had a cut on my foot when I got home from the pedicure. The place inside was beautiful so this was very disappointing. read more

Moved from LI NY a few months back. This was the third nail salon as the others were not good. Beautiful, clean, friendly and professional staff. Cindy did excellent pedicure! Perfect! I will preface this negative review by saying that I have been going to this salon since it opened and I have never had any issues and always taken care of. My nails always look great. However, a month ago I got a new set by Holly. She claimed she has been in the industry for decades now and had her own shop. Well my almond nails all came out different lengths and crooked. I had to keep letting her know they were leaning to one side and she fixed multiple. They still ended up different sizes and shapes. Fast forward to a month later and only one fill, I had to come in to get a new set by my normal specialist because every single nail was lifting. I was scared water was going to get caught under them and cause a greenie and it did under one nail. I have never had that happen in the past at this salon. On top of that, my normal nail specialist was able to take every nail off with only another single false nail sliding them under the parts that lifted. No soaking off or anything. I have never had that happen one fill in post new acrylic set. I wouldn't recommend Holly at all. Thank goodness my normal girl was there because my new set is perfect now. read more

I have a preference to not do gel manicure. Sooooo personally, if you just want to get regular non-gel manicure/ pedicure go somewhere else respectfully. I did not get the full manicure service as outline on the website. Never did I get a massage or hot towel on my hands. Also, I did not get the see the colors that were available to me, had to play a guessing game with my manicurist. I understand that my cuticles needed some love but not to the point where I am actively bleeding throughout the session and there was no care given to stop it. There was no drying service available after everything was done and I was paying with still wet nails and toes and they watched me struggle to not mess up my nails while getting my card out of my wallet. Had to sit in my car for a little while after paying for my service to allow for my nails to dry before doing anything else with my day. This experience was not worth the price I paid today. read more

I got my nails done Saturday and I had to go to the doctor today because my toe got infected, the technician cut an ingrown toe nail ( there wasn't one and she cut it out so a lot of skin down came off). The side of my toe is so swollen and hurts, keep oozing discolored puss. They're sanitation is not okay they will be hearing from me. read more

The first time the gel chipped within a week and the second time I did the dip powder and the gel clear top coat is already peeling and I have only had them for over a week.
