This was my first time getting a Brazilian and I was a nervous wreck. Rita took her time and calmly walked me through and made sure I was comfortable at each step which made the process as smooth as my Brazilian! Rita answered all my questions I had and made sure I had all the information I needed for proper after care and even offered some tips. Did I also mention how insanely clean the facility was? Let's be clear all men are whimps when it comes to getting waxed lol. Lauren is a top notch professional and handles herself with the utmost respect. The room smells great and immediately puts you in a relaxed state. Privacy is provided to unclothe if you are still feeling modest and the door only opens from inside so nobody will walk in on you. Lauren has great conversational skills and does a great job of keeping your focus away from the waxing all while not stopping waxing. I would suggest to bring someone along, the more conversation the faster the job. I am a straight black man and fellas let me tell you, IT IS WORTH IT FOR THE BEDROOM, your girl will show you how much she appreciates it! For my brothas just make sure you follow her dry brush and essential oil recommendations to avoid ingrowns/ hair bumps. I dont get my top waxed b/c I'm sensitive to bump so I just get around the shaft and everything underneath. Best decision I could of made! Between working night shift, not getting enough sleep, and just everyday stress in general, it really starts to show on my skin and I don't quite bounce back the way I used to, so facials are a great way to help brighten my complexion. I was introduced to Glomour Medispa thanks to a yelpie event (because I can always count on Yelp to introduce me to some of the best experiences) and I was so impressed with the service and results of the most basic facial, that I decided to come back. Angela is great to work with, easy going, and listened to me about what my needs and goals were for my facial. (A big plus is that she's a fellow RN, so I know she REALLY understands the specific in the self-care department for people like me, lol). She helps but me at ease and explains every step of what we're doing throughout the process. Facials are a nice blend of relaxation, aromatherapy, and some "me-time" meditation when I'm letting the masks settle into my skin. I've getting facials semi-regularly since then.
