The amount of different stuff the girl put on my face.. OMG. It was a miracle I didn't walk out there with blisters and chemical burns. So I tried that twice and will not do that again. But the hair salon is two thumbs up!

It is my time and pleasure to brag about Mercedes at Skin Radiance (SR) Med Spa!…read moreLast year I had an event so I had planned monthly microdermabrasion facials with Mercedes. This year I'm visiting her every other month. My skin has never looked better! I am so happy when a friend or family member remarks that my face is glowing! Here is a little background about the experience: When I schedule an appointment, an email comes out approximately two days prior to the visit requesting me to confirm, reschedule or cancel the visit. A single text message reminding of the visit arrives shortly before the visit itself. Skin Radiance is located on Bay to Bay in Tampa, and is conveniently located right off I-275. There is ample parking, and the office is located on the corner of the building so this is an easy jaunt from the car to the front door. SR uses Mangomint Spa and Salon software, so a text arrives approximately 15 minutes prior to the visit, requesting the guest to acknowledge arrival and wait in the car in the parking lot until directed to come in....which normally takes just a few minutes. The SR lobby is calming and and aesthetically pleasing, with a large window facing the street so there is wondrous lighting. SR has two treatment rooms on the left hand side, on the way to the rest room in the back. The rest room is feminine and there are rolled washcloths in a wall dispenser to dry the hands, with a dedicated bin to dispose of the soiled washcloths. The treatment room where I meet Mercedes is small but tranquil. There are diaphanous sheers on the interior wall which are adorned with steady fairy lights. The lights are dim for the guest, and there is a burning candle which adds ambience. Additionally, there is soft music playing in the background that is calming. Mercedes has been my only aesthetician since my first visit. She is 20-something, enthusiastic about her job, a subject matter expert in her field and highly enthusiastic. I am encouraged to contact her if I have any questions or concerns about my skin after each visit. Moreover, Mercedes is beautiful both inside and out....and madly in love with both her handsome husband their adorable three year-old daughter! I highly recommend SR and Mercedes, and plan to continue my treatments there!

I tried to like this place I really did. But after them messing up the first time and then not…read moremaking right like they said they would the second time I will stop going here. Little bit about me I get facials regularly. The place I go is closing down so I was looking for a new place that I could become a regular at. My first experience with this business is when I called to make use the b1g1 was for the platnium hydro facial. Lady on the phone said yes... when I went there before I purchased I asked again. They said yes. After the service was done that was in fact not what I purchased . I let them know that both over the phone and in person they told me the wrong thing. So they said next time they will hiring the service I was told WAS the b1g1. Okay no worries.. I get in my car and realize -told me the wrong thing for a quick sale -micro bladed all the way up to my hair line and cut my front ends off -cut my forehead because the pressure was to hard -still random patches of peach fuzz Second time around I went and reminded them about the honored facial that I originally wanted. Which in the description says it comes with red light therapy. It did not. When finished and asked what about the red light therapy the girl gave me a run around with three different excuses 1- it was an add on (no it's not it states in the description it comes with the treatment) 2- depends on if we think you need it ( WANTED that for that specific treatment that's what I paid for who are you to decide what I need if it states in the description that it's included) 3. Depend on who's doing your face some of us add it some of us don't And then lastly after I asked one more time about the wording of the description for that specific treatment with the red light she said it's somthing we talk about if you need in the beginning and that the facial is very customizable but when we started she didn't care to ask me my concerns or what it was I wanted.. kinda seemed like she wanted to get it done and over with like I was the last person of the day She then tried telling me they can add it next time I come back. No no I will not be back that's wrong of them to try and make right and half ass the facial Andy Ty to sell me what it was I actually wanted on the next visit .. I will take my money elsewhere where. To top it off I go back in my car look at my face and once again my peach fuzz on my upper lip my cheek and some of my forehead was still there. As if she barely microdermed it... Long story short take your money elsewhere where we're. If they or the store owner wants to do right by there practice then they should fix this issue immediately and be more upfront with the deals and what it is the facial offers
