The prices here are…read morejust too hard to beat, they're so affordable and reasonable compared to most other places that it almost seems too good to be true, and it's just as quality of a job. As soon as I walked in I just got a good vibe- the walls are painted this nice teal color, like the color of a tropical ocean- it's really decorated like a place that is named "Beach Ready" and it just puts you at ease. Although, it's kind of hidden in that strip mall, I drove past it my first time, but once you find it you're good to go. I got my brows done by Kim- she did an incredible job! I just wanted a clean up to make my brows look put together again and she just did amazing, got them all tweezed and trimmed and I am just so happy with them. Kim was just the sweetest gal, we had a good flow of conversation the whole time and it didn't feel forced, it was just nice and enjoyable. It was also super easy to make an appointment online through their website, and you can put your credit card info on their before you even go for a visit and then they will just charge your card after you go, and you don't even have to worry about bringing payment with you, which is so nice. I haven't gotten any of the other waxes done here, but the brow appointment only took about 15 minutes including filling out the beginning information, so it's a super quick, easy process as well. Obviously other waxes take more time, but just overall I was so happy with my experience here! They have another location in Brandon as well.

Bliss Health Spa is a small, locally owned place that doesn't look like much from the outside but…read moreis absolutely fabulous on the inside. I made my appointment via the website and asked for a consultation and a facial with dermaplaning. Brandy, the owner, came highly recommended and happens to be high demand. (I had to wait a few weeks for my appointment, but it was worth it.) She greeted me at the door when I arrived and offered me a drink and then I filled out the forms (since I was new). We then went back to the room for the consultation. She was very thorough and we talked about skin care, what I do for my skin and what I expected from her and the treatment. She was extremely professional, yet personable. The place is gorgeous and smells fantastic. The bed was heated and very comfy. Brandy was incredibly gentle, and even when she did the dermaplaning, I never felt any unease or pain. At the end, my face was smoother and cleaner than it has felt in years - with absolutely no redness at all. Whether you are looking for a place for pampering or for maintenance, you should check out Bliss Health Spa.

After I specifically asked the tech to make sure that…read moremy nails look natural and not thick. called before I made my appointment to ask if they had rubber base polish, and asked for a specific color, and they said yes to both, once I got there, they didn't have have such color and base. Also the tech was not experienced and meticulous, nor detail oriented as I was assured on the phone. I had to ask for a few things to be fixed before she considered the nails "done" and still walked out of there looking like my 10 year old daughter did my nails. For $60 I can actually get a real professional manicure and rubber base with the color I wish to have. My tech was a younger girl, don't recall her name. Wouldn't recommend this place for people that are looking for a nice and classy manicure. Manicure was the worst service I've ever gotten. Cuticles barely cut, in dry hands, and hurt like hell. Literally done in less than 5 minutes for both hands. The rubber base was not applied properly. The person evidently never applied it before. Left bumps of all kinds nails look deformed. Didn't use the tool to smooth them out. Didn't attempt to fix either. Didn't clean up under the nails. Not a single hand massage. Not a drop of hand lotion after. Honestly, this place was one of my worst experiences, I'm 45 years old. Terrible. Owner shouldn't hire techs like the one I got. What I had done usually takes at least 2 hours, ANYWHERE. It's a fine job with super meticulous steps in order to look perfect, smooth and natural. This lady took 45 minutes max for the whole thing.

I see only her maybe every 3 months for eyebrow threading and she always points out the bald spots in my eyebrows. I've repeated to her several times, it is a result of overplucking them over 20 years ago as a teenager. Today, she managed to say, "it's important to have an experienced eyebrow threader" as she charged $13 to my card. She has been my threader for almost 2 years now. I am not sure why I continue to torture myself seeing her with her constant unneccessary comments. But paying an extra gallon of gas to avoid seeing her may not be a bad idea anymore since she increased her prices.
