I've never had an incident as one that I had this past Saturday. The girl that was doing my Wax was new. She told me she was new when I walked into the room. There was no plastic on the table. In the room, she said I'm new. I'm gonna hope you don't mind that I'm new. I will have someone in here to watch to make sure everything goes accordingly. Are you OK with this? She asked I said, of course I'm fine. I've had new girls before. She starts to apply the Wax as she's doing this. She has a problem lifting the Wax off of me. She continues to put more wax on and gets sticker and she is unable to get the wax off of me mind you I am laying on the table for over 15 minutes with this girl, trying to pull the Wax off of me I told you to stop to get someone in there. She said she would. I waited. I waited. She left the room because I was getting anxious. She was getting nervous. I got up off the table half dressed, went in the hallway. Ask the lady across the hall to please help me. She said she would be with me in five minutes. I then I took the wax off me left will never go back. Her studio is super cute with fun, modern aesthetics--think faux grass walls, neon signs, and positive quotes. Love the vibe! I bought this appointment on Groupon for $28 (normally $53) and felt it was absolutely worth it. I'd asked in a Tampa Facebook group for suggestions, and Thank the Lord for the person who recommended The Spa by Folashadé! Trust me when I say that I am super picky a/b the quality of work, customer service, overall cleanliness, and the maintenance of the health of my nails. From day one, she has impressed me and has never disappointed. She listens to her clients and will pivot and make adjustments as necessary. She cleans and sanitizes thoroughly between clients, and I've never seen one spec of dust or any type of build up anywhere! Additionally, she doesn't usually do nail designs on natural nails, but I asked her to, and she used her creative skills to come up with something cute, even though it was out of her comfort zone. I especially love the "experience" of The Spa by Folashadé. It is a true one on one, luxurious, "spa like" experience, so I am ok paying premium prices for that.
