This was my first time here, and it was one of the best nail experiences I've ever had. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks, and my nails are super sensitive to the burning and cutting of the tools. It's gotten to the point where I dread getting my nails done because they either file my skin down or make me bleed. But Jenny at Sago nail salon must be a perfectionist because she took more care and detail with my nails than I've had in a long time! I've been coming to this nail salon for over +10 years through all their new owners/management changes. They used to deliver EXCEPTIONAL nail services, but not anymore. I went in LESS THAN A WEEK ago and this is what my gel manicure looks like. Take in mind, my job and lifestyle do not require me to get my hands too dirty; so this manicure/paint job should not look like this - especially with gel. I travel from South Tampa in order to be able to keep coming back to this salon (used to be a Northdale local) and I no longer will. Don't waste your money here! I take topical steroids for eczema, so my nails are super think, so theres no excuse! My GEL polish is "chipping" by the second.. SAVE YOURSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

Went for a pedicure. The person was very inexperienced, slow. Then burned my leg with the scolding Hot rocks. Then still had to pay! It was the worst experience ever! I will never go back or recommend to anyone!! read more

I love this nail salon. They are my main nail place. They do amazing at nails at toes. I usually get acrylic, and a basic pedicure. The prices are always the same depending if I get a design or not. Other nail places, they would just give me a random number to pay. It is very very clean and sanitary. The staff are really nice too. I also love talking to the owner he is so funny. They are gentle with your feet which I like. Overall, the hospitality, cleanliness, and service is a 10/10. I don't really know what people are talking about their acrylics are cheap and the gel is chipping off. I have never had this problem. I've gotten long nails, short nails, medium nails... I work with my hands constantly since i'm in the food industry.. also I constantly work out. I even dropped a weight on my finger. Acrylic was fine . What is crazy is when I went to another nail salon because, i work late and didn't have time to go to Sago. The guy had such a hard time getting my acrylic off to the point he got frustrated. I like to pick out nail designs from Pinterest before I go. At other salons they say they can do it I sit done and they start but never look like the picture when finish. Worst pedicure, manicure experience I've ever had. Will not be back

Decided to take a friend here for her birthday. The customer service was good but the prices were WAY too expensive. I've been to other places that do just as good of nails or even better and they charge less. I got an acrylic set and the total cost was $112 just for simple acrylic nails. And that doesn't even explain the disappointment I had when my nail polish started coming off two days later and on the fourth day I lost a nail. I feel it is important to let others know what they're getting themselves into when they go here. read more

I was well taken care of and my nails looked beautiful but it was probably the cheapest set i've ever had. My friend and I went together and we both got full sets. Most of her nails broke off only a week later so she decided to remove the remainder because she looked ridiculous. 3 of my nails have fallen off now and looks like my pointer finger is about to follow suit too. Be AWARE! I've been coming to this nail salon for on and off for about a year now. I would see Loui the young guy for my nails. I went in today to do a regular manicure with design. I called beforehand and sent a picture and was told yes (by him) he could do it. He couldn't pick the right base, then when he was finishing my nails before the clearcoat he started asking what next and I told him like the picture. He started being very aggressive and saying if I knew this was you through text I would've said NO. Then proceeded to say he doesn't want to finish my nails and to leave the salon. All because he couldn't deliver. I was completely humiliated and in front of the whole salon. Never again! Also the pedicures are very basic. There's way better salons in the area. read more

I got two nails fixed. Both my real nails cracked really low so I asked to have an overlay. The younger gentleman did a wonderful beautiful job. If I got fake nails I would definitely go to him if I did acrylics. read more

Ideal salon experience. My gel mani, regular pedicure and eyebrow wax all turned out exactly as I wanted. The staff is friendly and the salon, which is owned by a couple, is very clean. Two separate technicians worked with me. The first lady, one of the owners, did my eyebrows and pedicure. Another lady did my gel manicure. Almost two weeks later my nails are still strong and lovely. I was getting my nails done for a wedding so I was politely particular. Both ladies were very patient when I split hairs over which shade of berry to use and asked for extra glitter. I really appreciate their kindness. It was about $70 for the whole shebang. Absolutely worth it. So long as they're here I doubt I'll ever go to another salon. read more

Went for a pedicure early Monday . The price is right at $20 including hot stones. The tech was nice and did a great job with my summer feet. She did try to use a grater on my callous and I asked her not to. Polish job was only Ok and nails were not cut even. I felt the inside was not clean enough Tech used same tools on me as women next to me that she just finished and I did not see them sterilized or changed. Inside of massage chair whirlpool was not clean , as you can see residues and the tech didn't clean after I was finished. I can't say I would go again. read more

I thought I liked this place at first, but it was very unorganized. Lots of the customers were very rude and one of the customers even asked to SMOKE! There was no set person for each customer. I got My nails done there and the person doing my nails made EACH of my nails a different shape. The guy didn't even bother to redo my nails when he added a lump in them. Found this gem when I moved down the street about 10 years ago and haven't gone anywhere since. The owner Kim and her daughter are like family. I am so picky with my nails bcs 1 finger on each hand is crooked so in the past I'd always have the tip applied crooked in other salons. Ms Kim makes sure to take her time and my nails are always flawless. Her daughter gives the best pedicure and I never have an issue with my engrown toenail anymore. Always friendly, always produce excellent work no latter who I get. Infinite color options. They always provide bottled water, and have Netflix or something streaming while you sit and get nails done. The manger is consistently professional and kind. You don't find that in other places. read more

Walked in, waited 2 hours to get JUST a fill, I was next and they started doing 2 lady's nails that just walked in in front of me. Never going back. My sisters nails were also horrible. First time visit and loved it. The salon has been under new ownership for the past 6 months and it is owned by a husband and wife team. Their customer service is outstanding. When I called to make an appointment I told them I had an appointment after and they offered to open early so I wouldn't be late. This and their service is enough to make me a customer for life.
