I have been getting my nails done for years and my friends all know that I have never been able to feel satisfied with nail technicians' work and have pulled my own tips soon after having them done . So, after just getting my nails done at a different nail salon approximately two weeks ago, I was not happy with my nails !!! So I decided to go search for another tech before I pull this set of nails myself . So I started my search again and found this place. I immediately made an appointment with Mariela . Ayayayyyyy, this girl met all my expectations, plus more!!! Ok so in order not to make this review super long, I can only say "Mariela what took so long for me to find you " Your work is more than expected and I am truly happy !!!!! For those detail oriented people out there like me , this girl is for you . I was checking her out while she was doing my nails and could see how detail oriented she is . It was very busy, you would probably benefit by making an appointment. My pedicure got done with no problem. My manicure was split between two people just because I didn't make an appointment and they were trying to fit me in while getting it done. I left paying $85 for a basic pedicure which included callus care and for acrylic gel nails. I will return. read more

During my pedicure I was offered a variety of beverages.The employee who did the pedicure took her time and made sure my cuticle were cleaned and the bottom of my feet were smooth. Not even worth a star-rating. Never again. I requested a manicure, ombre nails, and a gel pedicure at the front desk and was assured there'd be no issue. Yet, the technician was unprepared--she couldn't do the ombre nails, didn't clean my cuticles, skipped the foot massage, and didn't scrub the dead skin. When I mentioned the manicure, she claimed she wasn't informed, even though I told the concierge. I was then asked to return the next day because the shop was closing. Both the technician and concierge insisted my cuticles didn't need cleaning, but eventually did so after I insisted. I expected a poshe experience, but was mistreated. This place is VERY unprofessional, I went in later than my appointment time because the tech was running behind and they asked me to come later . I arrived on time for the second appointment time and I was sitting there still an additional 40 minutes. I am a Loyal customer, but this infuriated me because I don't give my business or money to someone that doesn't RESPECT my time . I came back to the salon on a Tuesday and was met with a very unpleasant attitude. Night and day from my first visit. I was told no eyelashes were done there- when it's clearly on the menu and then told nobody was there to do designs (in a nail shop) and I would need to come back. I think I would have received the information better if it was not told to me in a very nasty tone. As if I was in the wrong for wanting to come back to the nail shop I visited a few weeks ago. I reached out to the Manager and he offered 10% off for the inconvenience but the treatment was so horrible, I wouldn't go back if the nails were free! My first time here I had a decent gel pedicure and gel manicure, which is why I'm giving them 2 stars and not 1 star. The second time I visited Posh Nails, my appointment was at 12:45. I chose this place based off of good reviews, but I feel like I had a very different experience. I came in as a walk-in for a gel manicure and left with my nails a brittle mess. I understood I was a walk in and said I was fine to wait 15 minutes, but there were only 2 ppl there and four workers. then suddenly they passed me off to a women named Kim, who is very sweet but did not seem to know what she was doing nor spoke english. The other nail technician had to come over multiple times and ended up taking off my gel polish for her because she was going so far down to the bed of my nails that it was painful. She also on top of that took a nail file on top of the machine file. I take good care of my nails and regularly get manicures, but I've never had someone leave them looking this ripped up. Then the other nail technician tried to tell me I needed to wear gloves when I work out and that's why they're so brittle. I paid my $10 for gel removal and left. Very disappointed and now my nails are left ruined before the holiday weekend. read more

I was a little skeptical about this place because there was NO ONE in the place and it appeared a little messy with nail file shavings, and not in a great location but I seriously think it must have been because they were busy before I came in. My friend recommends this place and her nails are always fantastic, clean and even. I called to make sure there was no charge to take off my current dip polish (there is not ) and to see if I could walk in for a dip manicure during my lunch. They have lots of colors and werent busy. I ask for square shape and he starts filing. I tried to explain/point out that the shapes he filed were very uneven, but he didnt understand. Some nails were obviously slanted and the rest were shaped long and dull on the corners and filed lower towards the middle. I try to let small imperfections go but my naiks looked terrible. Despite multiple attempts, the nails barely changed. The owner sitting next to the station said nothing as I struggled to communicate. I had to firmly stop him from trying to file the one nail that looked okay, so I gave up and just wanted to finish so I could leave. I had been there for well over an hour & let him know I needed to leave in 10-15 minutes. The owner seemed to relay the message. He applies the base coat of dip over the color and after having me rinse with water he applied gel which i have never experienced. I had to rush out and when I got home I was really disappointed. At a quick glance they were fine, but uneven color and top coat as well as flaking of gel on my thumb were impossible to miss after a few seconds of looking. I assume the quality was due to the specific tech I worked with and me not having 2 hours available, but I wont be coming back. I can honestly say my friends nails are always immaculate so someone in there does a great job, it just unfortunately was not the gentleman i worked with. Side note: tips are cash only. read more

Kind of disappointed in my full set regular acrylic. I came at 6:30 didn't get done til about 8:20. They close at 7:30 and after my nails were done being painted I got rushed out the door. My nails were only drying about 3 minutes, then he sprayed some quick dry stuff on them. As soon as I walked out the door I noticed one of my thumbs was messaged up and I wasn't going back in there because they were following me out of the door. I'll just repaint them myself. Annie is the owner of this nail salon. This was formerly First United Nail Salon. Anyways, Annie and all her staff have GREAT customer service and they do a beautiful job with nail art. I asked Annie for a certain nail style and she went out of her way to find out exactly how to do it so she could do it right for me. She's very sweet and she truly cares about customer satisfaction. I been going to this place for over 3 years to get my eyebrows done because they always did a great job. I even am willing to drive 20 mins away to them. Today was the WRONG DAY to go!!! A new girl did them and she was on the phone the entire time which explains why she probably did not know what she was doing but she messed up my eyebrows!
