Hannah got right to work and she did an excellent job. She was very friendly and chatty, which I appreciate since essentially getting your nails done is boring. When I didn't love the color I chose, she quickly came up with suggestions, and my color was swapped in no time. I love that they use sealed, sterilized implements, so I didn't have to worry about the instruments being clean and safe. The only negative about this salon is that it is much more expensive than I'm used to paying. A gel manicure, with tip, and with specialty chrome accent nails that cost extra, is usually around $36-$38 at my regular place. The cost here, with tip, doing the same exact thing, was $59, though fortunately the first visit was $10 off with Yelp Check in. So - did I feel that it was a $20 better manicure than I usually get? I went for a pedicure this past Tuesday and was modestly talked into a manicure as well. I decided on gel since I only go to a salon for my nails once a year. It was a treat myself kind of day. And treat myself, I did. I enjoyed a serene spa pedicure with polish of a sparkly purple color by OPI called "Feel the Chemis-tree!" Two days later, during Thanksgiving meal prep, part of my right thumb's nailpolish lifted (vegetable peeling) and I panicked. As soon as I returned to the salon on Black Friday, they quickly fixed the nail and sent me on my happy way.
