I called and requested a appointment I was asked for a deposit and my credit card information for this appointment. On the day of appointment the hairdresser called and asked to move my appointment to later in the day. I thought the deposit guaranteed the appointment. And with someone with chronic back problems the service was very uncomfortable to where my neck was hurting me. I do not recommend this salon. read more

Where do I start? I went the first time and loved my Hairdresser! I booked a 2nd appointment only to find out that my original Hairdresser had quit, along with the owner's own daughter, the Nail Tech, and one other Stylist. The owner told me she would do my roots I have red hair) and add the blonde highlights that needed refreshing. As I was processing, I mentioned to her that she needed to rinse the red out before removing the foils because the red causes the blonde to turn pink. As I sat at the sink, I realized she was taking the foils off before rinsing the red and said something. She then handed me off to a new employee who said she would use a toner and I'd be fine. Long story short, I had VERY pink highlights! You could clearly see it as she was blow-drying my hair. The ending is that she charged me $290 for a result I didn't want. She knew how unhappy I was and had the nerve to ask if I wanted to book another appointment! She overcharges, clearly doesn't know how to color hair, nor cares if her customers leave happy and satisfied. Please don't waste your time or money going there!! I just moved to Sprijg Hill from New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. I was being lazy to not drive to my regular hairdresser and wanted to try a new salon that just across a street from me. This lady took too much time to do my hair. I usually have a hair apt with my regular hairdresser for 2 hrs or 2 hrs 30 mins at the most. I usually leave 12pm or 1230pm ONLY with a 10am apt. I didn't get out of the salon like 3pm. This is unacceptable. I usually paid only $155 plus tips and these people orginally told me $177 on the phone when I booked the apt, then the price kept on going up to $233, then $245 and finally $275 WHEN I LEFT. I would never and ever go back there again. I am extremely disappointed of this bullshit service. I like the lady who did my hair personally. She is nice and talkative, but this is outrageous with wasted my time and my money to get the similar hair color result that I can have gotten from my regular hairdresser in Temple Terrace. It was dirty. An instrument fell on the floor. Was picked up and put in nail polish remover. Nothing was sterilized. I had two red cuticles which could have gotten infected but got home and put peroxide on and bacitracin. read more

This pains me to write but these things really need addressed. I came here today for a gel pedicure. I was 20 minutes early, and she got me started 10 minutes late, no fault of theirs for me being early. No jetted tub, the assistant didn't know how to work it- the bail tech fixed it 3/4 the way through. Again, no biggie things happen. The pedicure was like warm at best and hardly soothing. No leg massage, she did massage lotion up to my ankles but that was it. I apparently git the signature pedicure, wasn't given the option for anything else. I would have gotten the bigger package if been offered. She put gel on before polish, which was weird but I just went with it. Then she did polish with a top coat that needed to dry. Why would I get a gel pedicure to have to wait to dry after? Her response she was "it's long lasting, not gel top coat". What?! I'm super confused. Then the finish.... pictures to show. I'm just irritated.... and paid $55 ($5 tip). $50 for a basic pedicure, not even really basic and a terrible gel application and horrible polish job. Only saving grace is the young gal doing it was super sweet but still, have someone for experienced handling customers or charge less. I'm gonna start by saying my haircut experience was excellent; however, taking my three year old for her first pedicure was quite a bit disappointing. The polish chosen was too thick. They did not offer another color or try thinning it out. Due to this as you can see my nails were not dry enough to wear shoes; even though I had my hair washed, cut, and dried all after my nails were done before I put on shoes. Needless to say my 3 year olds finger nails did not last 3 hours. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. We almost didn't stay after the frustrating confusion over whether or not I could stay with my child during her pedicure or if I'd be leaving her in the chair while I was doing my hair. Also the website states that all hair appointments come with a deep condition and blow dry. But They do not wash for a child's cut and I had to ask for her to blow out her new cut to see how the new style looked. If you need a hair appointment for yourself-great! Took my 12 year old daughter in there to get a hair cut, shampoo, conditioner, blow dry and style. The staff was very kind. My daughter enjoyed the full experience and loved her hair cut. It was the first time she got layers instead of even all the way around. She was charged the adult price. Children's prices are 10 and under. I knew that before going in, but I still wanted to give them a chance. (But other local salons have prices for 12 and under.) Great pedicure! It had been several years since my nail tech (from another salon) left the area and I hadn't had a pedicure since. Decided to cross my fingers and pick a salon on Yelp. I found the Red Room and booked an appointment with Victoria. I am so happy with the result! I am really finicky about cleanliness, and was happy that they have single-use files and buffer blocks. The salon overall was very clean and well organized. There are so many colors of polish available, as well as different aromas for use during the spa pedicure. I had trouble deciding. Debbie is the best! I found Debbie after my previous stylist moved away and there was literally no one in the Tampa Bay area that could do my hair right. I have thin Eastern European hair and it has to be cut just so to look good. After many other stylists had failed, Debbie was the only one who could cut it and style it the way I liked. She goes to a lot of trade shows and is always in step with the newest and greatest out there. I started using alterna products thanks to her and even before they become as popular as they are now. I just can't tell enough good things about her and I am extremely usually critical if that hasn't come across already. I drove from South Tampa to her, she is that good :) My only complaint is that I had to move to DC and I couldn't clone her and take her with me. read more

I just wanted to be fair and update my previous review. I called neuma the shampoo company and told them about the change of color to the shampoo. They advised me not to use it and the salon should take it back. So I called the salon and told them what neuma said. I guessed they researched or called the company themselves. They agreed to take back and refund my money. While that's what they should have done in the first place at least they did the right thing in the end. I also agreed to try again with the color because there are things theu could do for stubborn roots which again they should have been doing all along. So I'll try again because I do like Amber. Terrible customer service. I made an appointment, I showed up on time, and yet I had to wait an hour and a half to be seen. As I waited I saw the owner of the salon use a brush on a client's hair and put it right back in the drawer without cleaning it. Yuck. Even though the owner of the salon was done doing hair she wanted me to wait even longer for someone else to do it, because she didn't feel like doing it. She eventually decided to do my hair, after I mentioned the wait. All I got was a simple haircut. My hair looked pretty good, but it wasn't worth the wait. I'll never go back again. read more
