He was understanding, compassionate, and vowed to make it right. Considering my first experience at their salon was so wonderful, I was open to the opportunity to have his team correct my hair. He set me up with their blonding specialist, Laura. She reached out to me the night before my appointment to ask me what my concerns were, what I was looking to achieve and to send her pictures of my current hair and the look I wanted. Again when I walked in the atmosphere of the salon was awesome. Laura went over what I wanted again, and fully delivered what I had originally wanted. After I left Steve again reached out to me to make sure everything went well. I cannot tell you how great it felt to have someone care so much about their business and their clients, and so willing to listen and fix any mistakes that were made. I didn't make a mistake going here at all. I already scheduled my next appointment with Laura and I truly look forward to it, and staying a part of the Salon 427 family. You won't find more dedicated stylists, and more importantly a leader like Steve who makes sure his guests are 100% taken care of. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this have a good ending. I first went here in November of 2016, when their location was on Forest Hill Road. Brittany did my hair and it was PERFECTION. life happened, and I haven't had a chance to have color since. So walking into this, I already had great expectations. I called last minute for a hair cut appointment (on a Tuesday for a Saturday appointment) and everything seemed ok, Brittany was not available on the weekends so I took another stylist. My appointment was at 4pm. Around 1pm that day I get a phone call from them asking if I was ok. I said of course, she proceeds to say 'well your appointment was at 12:45. Now I know she said 4, I marked it in my calendar. Whatever, said she could see me at 2. When I arrived I had to wait 15 extra minutes, which wasn't a big deal to me because I got a nice beverage from the receptionist. I meet with Krystal and she starts asking me about my color. Again, I scheduled an appointment for just a cut. I should have took it as a sign right there to NOT get color, but it was my first time out since my daughter was born so I figured why not. We went over what I had previously, what I wanted now, and I showed her a picture. I was going for subtle, caramel color. What I ended up with was a nightmare. My highlights were splotchy, streaky, yellow, and thick. Think 90's. And not in a good way. I didn't immediately realize due to the poor lighting and when I arrived home my husband literally said 'yikes'. So I reached out to them, explained what happened and yes, they were very responsive. But again, I feel like they had me mixed up with someone else! The girl on the phone kept asking me about my curls (I have straight hair) and said she wasn't going to have time to fix it and curl it like it was (again, I do not have curly hair nor did she curl it, I left with straight hair and she even took pictures of it!!) so I get there on Sunday and Cheyenne helped her fix the color. Now, there is a stylist who not only listens but delivered what I wanted. The only problem is they had to dye over the blonde, and it was a demi so it's already starting to fade out. I used to recommend this salon to everyone, but I cannot see myself returning when someone who is a level 3 stylist in their opinion can not execute what a customer asks for.

I originally found out about the salon via Facebook. Owner, Joanna Rivera, advertised her eyebrow microblading services, and I was interested in the procedure. Upon reviewing all of Joanna's work, I was blown away by her many talents. Her styling skills are like works of art. Her precision and perfection in microblading convinced me that I had found the perfect person to do the service for me. I even drove over an hour (more than once) just to see her! The salon is comfortable and modern. Joanna's husband, Roger, always greets with a smile, and makes you feel at home right away with offer of something to drink. My microblading results have been exceptional! Joanna is professional, meticulous, and extremely friendly! I will be returning to the salon in January for a touch up appointment and I'm looking forward to seeing them all again. I have had a huge problem finding a stylist that didn't try to make me look like they wanted, but I had almost lost hope and was looking at my boyfriends electric sheers when I came across the salon on my computer. I had a blind faith feeling that this would be different and I am sooooo happy I made a call and went. Laid back and friendly people who have an open mind and GET you. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize if a person has 1980's haircut that they haven't been keeping up on their classes and new styles, coloring techniques, don't turn you around so you can't see what they are doing etc...When someone really loves cutting, coloring and being there to see a transformation that makes someone beam that is a true stylist. I found the salon after a horrible experience with another salon in town and Denise saved the day and my hair! She is awesome!! She told me to come right in and she stayed late to accommodate me something the other salon would not even consider. She highlighted , cut & curled my hair and it turned out simply STUNNING! She also turned me onto some very nice hair products (Amika) I have never used until today but really like the aroma and hold from the texture spray. I have found my new forever hair salon. I am a very busy horsewoman so to find a salon that obviously goes above and beyond the norm is a breathe of fresh air in todays world. I've entrusted my hair to these professionals for several years and I'm never disappointed. Last week in preparation for my wedding, Melissa did my color and highlights. It was beautiful! I looked so much younger with the bright highlights contrasting the chestnut brown. This weekend, Joanna, did my hair and make-up for my wedding. All I did was show her two pictures of what I was looking for, my dress, and shared my dream with her -an Audrey Hepburn vintage look. I've been going to NYLA and seeing Joanna for over 3 years now. I absolutely love the look of the salon & everyone there is very friendly. I always leave happy and loving my new hair style. Joanna also did my hair & makeup for myself & my bridemaids for my wedding. She traveled to Clearwater and was able to do everything in my hotel room. I have been going to NYLA since 2007/2008. Never had a better experience. Joanna is amazibg and stays current with all the trends, color, and styles. I have NEVER left there disappointed. Its a one stop shop for all your beauty needs; hairstyling, waxing, threading, makeup and now the new microblading. She has done my wedding hair and makeup, by far the best. This is by far the beat hair salon I have been to in the Spring Hill area. Joanna the owner is beyond amazing and I am never disappointed with my results. However any one of the hair stylists that work there are amazing. My family and I have been going there for years and enjoy the friendly staff that always are very helpful and listen to what you are looking to have done. I have been going to NYLA, Joanna Rivera from the time she opened her shop, about 6 years now! Love what she does for my hair, love her spirit, personality, attitude. It took me quite a while to find a hair magic maker in this area who is not afraid of my hair. It does not matter what race you are, all people can have thick/curly/wavy hair that needs taming in the Florida heat. I told her that I was done with her service and she never offered any type of reimbursement. I went to another place for a do-over and the makeup with minimal discomfort is phenomenal.
