This place is AMAZING!! Wow. New spot in town. Dog friendly, kid friendly, amazing service and good vibes! We don't get food but peeking at peoples food, it looked great! We will definitely be back to hang out.

Nice ambiance. Food and beers were very tasty. They had live music which was nice to chill and listen to. Decedent playground as well if you have kids. Nice and family friendly.

Went here a few weeks ago. The environment was really fun! Lots of places to sit, live band and playground for kids. I got a seltzer and a wine slushie. Slushie was freaking delicious! Could have easily drank a few. However pretty pricey. The food on the other hand, was not a fan of. Got the nachos and didn't like them. Bbq sauce on nachos? I can understand if there was pulled pork on them but I opted for no meat so it made no sense why there was bbq sauce on it. Then I finally had ice cream from the small truck. Freaking delicious! Idk if that vendor has a separate yelp but in whole the food was not good, atmosphere great, service can't really comment on, everyone was super busy.

Arrived around 6:30 pm on a Saturday - huge crowds, no parking, long line to order, but the venue is beautiful. The entrance is adorned with grape vines and misters that provide some heat relief. Ordered a spinach salad with chicken and was immediately handed a pre-packed salad, which was convenient, but it came with a giant slice of radish and two long whole carrots. Like who eats salad made with vegetables cut larger than your face? I treated these veggies like finger foods. Also ordered a margarita pizza, and thus the 3-star rating. Couldn't find a table because of the crowds, so sat on a stone wall. Waited an hour (!) for a flat bread pizza to be ready. It came out soggy. Flavors were okay, but it was dripping everywhere. There was live music, which might have explained the crowds, but it was so loud you couldn't hear the person sitting next to you. Summary: pretty venue with a playground for kids, shade and a handful of picnic tables. Long lines, long wait, and poorly constructed food. Super loud. Maybe visit during a weekday to get a parking spot and when you are more thirsty than hungry.

    Restrooms

Drinks you get instantly, but food can be up to an hour wait when its busy. They aren't really equipped to handle the size of crowd that they pull in, there isnt nearly enough parking so we had to park at the coloma club and walk over which we didn't mind. And it can be difficult to find a table. But still had a great experience! Very kid friendly, they have the silver bullet trailer that sells ice cream and shaved ice plus a playground and giant connect 4 for the kids. Downside is that they dont have real bathrooms, they only have porta-pottys, but they are definitely the nicest porta-pottys ive ever seen. Each stall has an A/C unit, a fan/vent with 4 speeds, toilet, and sink with soap and paper towels. They have (what i assume is) a little smoking section off to the side, although there's no signs stating that that's what it is. But people use it as one and it makes sense. They also have dog poop bags near the smoking section. And they offer a meal for dogs if your dog is hungry (it's on the menu there in person, not on the website). The dog meal is made of human food- it has chicken breast and quinoa in it. Overall, I had a great time and it's a really cool hangout spot, but I wish they had more parking, more seating, and a faster kitchen.

The food was so delicious. We got the figgy goat flatbread and bbq brisket sliders. The figgy goat was probably the best flatbread/pizza I've ever eaten. The brisket was sliced and so tender it fell apart easily while eating. Ambiance was also exceptional. Only outdoor seating but there are misters near the bar-top and there is a playground and corn hole to entertain the young at heart. I only wish they were open every day so I could eat there every night (hours are 4-10pm Thurs-Sun)

We were seated in the patio in the shade, so it wasn't too insufferably hot on this very sunny, warm day. Jägerschnitzel is my go-to at German restaurants and the one at Kathrin's is one of the best I've had to date. My plate was generous and the jägerschnitzel was tender, the spätzle was too, and the mushroom gravy that topped the jägerschnitzel was just so good. I cleaned my plate. I also got one of their small pretzels to start the meal and loved how soft and chewy it was, and the mustard had a good punch of spice. I thought it was cool that their pretzels are sourced from a local Bavarian factory. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the dressing on the green salad that comes with the jägerschnitzel. I'm really not sure what it was and can't say I've had anything else that tastes like it before, but it was strong and I was good after just a few bites. However, that wasn't enough to ruin the meal for me with as good as that jägerschnitzel was. While I was only here because I was visiting family who live in the area and recommended this place, I'd be happy to return if my family wanted to come back on a future visit.

We found that they served the dinner menu all day and there was no lunch menu. We ended up ordering the Oktoberfest platter, which it was made up of five sausages, schnitzel, red cabbage, sauerkraut and french fries. 4 of the 5 sausages were extremely dry and over cooked. Schnitzel was dry and flavorless. It seemed as if they had heated everything up in a microwave. Overly hot and very dry. Happy hour started at 3PM and we arrived at 2:45. That would have given us a discount on food and beer. But we figured oh well, our bad for not realizing. We commented on it to the bartender / server, like "oh darn" and he didn't really react. It was not like we expected to get the happy hour prices, we were just commenting. Then, unfortunately, we overheard him talking to two men at the bar, saying "I waited until 3PM to ring up your beers because I wanted to give you happy hour price." Yikes! Why not us? (Only us and these two gents inside at the time. There was a handful of people at outside tables.) We are disappointed because we had enjoyed them before and they are the closest restaurant to us serving German food. The food and the service that day are not very motivating to return.

Definitely liking the food menu and having happy hour pricing. Big wins there. However, I'm going to throw out a complaint that throws off the vibe and why I only tip 10%. This switch to funneled counter service creates a disconnected experience where the servers and bartenders don't seem to matter. You stand in a long line that takes forever to get through. Beers aren't even listed on the overhead monitors. You feel rushed to put in your order because you're aware of everyone who is waiting behind you. Get your food, put your buzzer on a table. Someone shows up with it. When you need a drink, you have to get up and navigate a line, again. Again, I'm tipping 10% for that at most. This is counter service. If I have to get up, stand in line and get my own drinks? Not a premium experience. But the prices here? It feels really disconnected. You're charging $10 for a beer? I have to get up and stand in line to get one... It all just looks like and feels like someone who designed this workflow hasn't been in the service industry. Too many awkward disconnection points and a lack of continuity. Imagine you went to a bar with 5,000 sqft and everyone was funneled into a line with two registers. There are 30+ taps. They're charging a premium for food and beverage. It's a great space. Food is good. Staff is fine. But the vibe is just off. The story arc when you walk in to when you leave feels weird. Like a top-down edict from management trying to force patrons into an unnatural workflow trying to improve one part of the business while compromising 7 others, losing whatever soul in the process. And the tap selection is lazy. I'll update my review if the vibe changes. It's just painful to see such a great space so awkwardly used. It even mostly works until the execution falls flat. I mean, imagine having a drink and knowing you're going to have to wait 20 minutes in a line to get another one on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's... weird. It's 2-stars weird. Someone thought this was a good idea?

The kids area is perfect to keep kids somewhat contained and away from adults that do not want kids to interrupt them.
