I've been here a few times now usually after having already been to Scarlets/Powerhouse across the street and wanting to continue the night. The experience you'll get is truly up to so many factors. The times my friends and I have came have been on Friday/Saturday nights and the place is packed. It's a $20 cover to get in, they do have an ATM machine you can use. It's packed both inside and outside, you'll wait 15 mins to use the bathroom and will have people hanging on the door for you to get out the whole time, and it'll be hot inside! This isn't a bad bar, it's divey and feels like it's for college kids and middle aged couples. The music has been ok, but if you can find an area to hang out with your friends in the back I'd suggest that! This definitely seems like the place to go with friends if you want to drink and socialize the night away. Haven't tried any of the food, the drinks are fine.

I came here first because of the architecture, came back because a favorite musical artist was playing here. This place like maybe holds 100 people, maybe?! We met the artist, interacted with him because we were 6 feet from the stage. We ate dinner here and it was really good. I had the naked wings and had blue cheese dressing and a small salad, boyfriend had a burger. The bar looked like fun. I highly recommend this place. Shout out to Jake who was really helpful and friendly!

A friend recommended this establishment and we had an exceptional experience. Great food, great drinks and great service. Recommended to all.

We read that the smash burgers here were delicious so we popped in for lunch and my 35 year old son said it was the best tasting burger he has ever eaten! A new restaurant owner and chef has taken over and is now making this historic hotel's new menu filled with delicious smoked goodness and breakfast choices 7 days a week. The bar area is the authentic saloon style with a great selection of spirits- I had the best margarita on the rocks, that I've had in years! They have live music on weekends and a backyard style patio for dining as weather permits. Friendly and great service. This is a "must go to" in this beautiful old town of Folsom on Sutter. And a free parking lot close by. We're definitely looking forward to coming back soon.

Good food. Bartender was really nice and attentive. Came in during the day on a Wednesday so it was quiet. Great location but parking can be an issue. Highly recommend...

Love this place but they should change the hours; usually closed early this time of year(like before 9)!

Closing early always and at discretion of bar tenders that aren't trying to work!!!!! (Before 8:30)

We just came for an after farmers market cocktail and some live music. The guitarist played popular songs that you could sing along to. Drink prices are reasonable. It's self seating. Normally I sit at the bar but there were 3 of us so we grabbed a table. They have a nice patio and allow dogs. Burgers looked good but we didn't eat.

Tried to get the look of the bar without intruding on the other patrons

We were greeted my a male bartender who got us waters and then we were ultimately served by the female bartender who helped us. We wanted her to make us custom bring and we asked her to surprise us. The only question she asked is what our preferred alcohol of choice was. I went with Tequila and my friend Gin. I have no clue what she made either on of us, but baby when I tell you my cocktail was fantastic! This bartender didn't come to play, she is the absolute truth. My drink had a little kick to it which was good with a smoky taste with a hint of fruit flavor. It's like nothing I had before, but I would ask for it again. I'm glad I took a photo lol. The service was great both bartenders were so cool, welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend checking them out!

My friend had a tequila drink and she liked hers as well. The decor is aesthetically pleasing- it's like being in a cabin and I like the back lighting as well, everything comes together to make for a cozy setting. They offer food too so I'd like to return to try out some apps in addition to some signature drinks next time. The other bartender who served us was great as well; congrats to him for being recently promoted to bartender! I'm looking forward to taking more friends here and exploring more drinks. Thanks!

There's three rooms/bar areas that each play different music and have a different vibe going on. The cover is typically $20 and they do have an atm on site you can use. One of the bars is cash only the others take card. Usually my friends and I go to the zombie room because the bartender there is super nice and makes really yummy fruity drinks. This room has tons of neon paint and funky decor, it's also where they have live music playing and an upstairs area you can sit in. The other areas are indoor/outdoor and they have seats outside on the front and back patio you can sit and smoke at. Depending on a lot of factors you might love it or might not. There's a big mix of people you'll meet here and there are some interesting individuals you'll meet. For the most part the music is decent, lots of space to dance, good drinks, and you can definitely make it more fun with a great group of people.

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

I've watched many people seat themselves at tables and leave 10 minutes later because no one asked them what they wanted. Yes, the decor is stuck in the 90's, but I actually like it. The double smash burger I had was excellent. The bun they use is awesome and they charred the patty perfectly. It tasted way better than Fleming's Prime Steakhouse burger I had last week, that's for sure. The thick steak-cut fries are awesome, too. Over salted but nothing a cold beer can't cut through. If it wasn't for this "mission," there's a good chance I wouldn't have wandered in. I LOVE Sutter Street, but honestly I don't live nearby and don't have many reasons to come here. That said, I'm thankful for the mission and glad I dropped by. It's a super cute place and the bartender had a nice relaxed chill vibe to her. This is where I'd normally drop her name and give her kudos - but I didn't get her name. I thought her name would be on the receipt, but it wasn't! I assume her name isn't "Shift Night N" anyway, which would be weird - but that's what is listed for "server". Anyway... the burger... I liked it. I liked it a lot. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked (not expected or demanded by me) - but an observation that I toss in for comparison purposes. It was cooked to a solid medium, which is fine with me. Caramelized onions were standard - nice - but the tomato and lettuce were listed as 'optional' - and the bartender (Shift Night N) asked me if I wanted them. I opted in. The bun was above average - definitely a notch above the typical mass-produced buns often used elsewhere. I opted for sweet potato fries. They had good flavor. Personal preference-wise... I would have liked them to be cooked a smidge more. If/when I come back, I'll probably ask them to be crispy-er. Overall, thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try other things on the menu. #burgers
