I've been here a few times now usually after having already been to Scarlets/Powerhouse across the street and wanting to continue the night. The experience you'll get is truly up to so many factors. The times my friends and I have came have been on Friday/Saturday nights and the place is packed. It's a $20 cover to get in, they do have an ATM machine you can use. It's packed both inside and outside, you'll wait 15 mins to use the bathroom and will have people hanging on the door for you to get out the whole time, and it'll be hot inside! This isn't a bad bar, it's divey and feels like it's for college kids and middle aged couples. The music has been ok, but if you can find an area to hang out with your friends in the back I'd suggest that! This definitely seems like the place to go with friends if you want to drink and socialize the night away. Haven't tried any of the food, the drinks are fine.

I came here first because of the architecture, came back because a favorite musical artist was playing here. This place like maybe holds 100 people, maybe?! We met the artist, interacted with him because we were 6 feet from the stage. We ate dinner here and it was really good. I had the naked wings and had blue cheese dressing and a small salad, boyfriend had a burger. The bar looked like fun. I highly recommend this place. Shout out to Jake who was really helpful and friendly!

We read that the smash burgers here were delicious so we popped in for lunch and my 35 year old son said it was the best tasting burger he has ever eaten! A new restaurant owner and chef has taken over and is now making this historic hotel's new menu filled with delicious smoked goodness and breakfast choices 7 days a week. The bar area is the authentic saloon style with a great selection of spirits- I had the best margarita on the rocks, that I've had in years! They have live music on weekends and a backyard style patio for dining as weather permits. Friendly and great service. This is a "must go to" in this beautiful old town of Folsom on Sutter. And a free parking lot close by. We're definitely looking forward to coming back soon.

Good food. Bartender was really nice and attentive. Came in during the day on a Wednesday so it was quiet. Great location but parking can be an issue. Highly recommend...

Love this place but they should change the hours; usually closed early this time of year(like before 9)!

Closing early always and at discretion of bar tenders that aren't trying to work!!!!! (Before 8:30)

We just came for an after farmers market cocktail and some live music. The guitarist played popular songs that you could sing along to. Drink prices are reasonable. It's self seating. Normally I sit at the bar but there were 3 of us so we grabbed a table. They have a nice patio and allow dogs. Burgers looked good but we didn't eat.

Tried to get the look of the bar without intruding on the other patrons

The cake was moist and flavorful. The drinks weren't too strong. The service was a little slow, but the staff were friendly and attentive. Whoever designed this restaurant did a wonderful job. It's very unique and makes me feel like I'm in a cabin. The lighting is dim and sets the mood for a romantic date. There are a few areas to lounge and a spot to take pictures. They have seating available inside and outside. Bathrooms are stocked and clean. The antler chandeliers are gorgeous. But the real star of the show? The bar. The blue and neon lighting, the wood and rock beans, and the huge elk mounted in the center... So awesome! I'm definitely coming back to try other things on their main menu. They have a nice drink selection. It's very easy to spend a good $60+ here.

I brought my family and girlfriend for a nice dinner. We were there for more than 3 hours waiting for our food. It seemed like we had to literally grab the server for more drinks and everything seemed really disorganized. Our total tab was almost $500. For that kind of money at least competent serving and food wait times should be expected. We will not be back and I'm really sad that such a great bar in the front is done such a disservice by the restaurant.

There's three rooms/bar areas that each play different music and have a different vibe going on. The cover is typically $20 and they do have an atm on site you can use. One of the bars is cash only the others take card. Usually my friends and I go to the zombie room because the bartender there is super nice and makes really yummy fruity drinks. This room has tons of neon paint and funky decor, it's also where they have live music playing and an upstairs area you can sit in. The other areas are indoor/outdoor and they have seats outside on the front and back patio you can sit and smoke at. Depending on a lot of factors you might love it or might not. There's a big mix of people you'll meet here and there are some interesting individuals you'll meet. For the most part the music is decent, lots of space to dance, good drinks, and you can definitely make it more fun with a great group of people.

Food deals include half off all appetizers ("smaller") and tavern pizzas (flabreads). Specialty cocktails, wine, and beer are discounted a couple dollars and well drinks are nicely priced at $6. We came around 4:30pm and there was a lot of seating available. The hostess was welcoming and our server Evelyn was great. She had a chill and pleasant attitude and was very efficient with our requests. Kitchen was quick to bring out my poke nachos, and our combo pizza and chicken wings came within 10 minutes. My husband had to send his lemonade back because it was carbonated, but they fixed it right away and it was perfect. The poke nachos was stacked high with crispy wonton chips and diced raw tuna with a spicy aioli sauce throughout. The buffalo chicken wings were sauced just right and still a little crispy. I heard the server tell another patron they can do bbq sauce or naked if you do not want buffalo sauce. The flatbread pizza wasn't as crispy on the bottom as I'd like (probably because of all the toppings) but the edges of the crust were good with a nice chew/crispy ratio. Overall, food was delicious, and at half off, definitely worth it, Since there were only a few patrons in the restaurant at the time, it was fairly quiet, but I've been when it's packed, loud, and lively. The quality of the salad ordered was mediocre, in fact some of the greens were wilted. The French toast with berries was probably the one of the things that was better. The quality of the service just was not as good as our last experience from a year ago. I've watched many people seat themselves at tables and leave 10 minutes later because no one asked them what they wanted. Yes, the decor is stuck in the 90's, but I actually like it. The double smash burger I had was excellent. The bun they use is awesome and they charred the patty perfectly. It tasted way better than Fleming's Prime Steakhouse burger I had last week, that's for sure. The thick steak-cut fries are awesome, too. Over salted but nothing a cold beer can't cut through. If it wasn't for this "mission," there's a good chance I wouldn't have wandered in. I LOVE Sutter Street, but honestly I don't live nearby and don't have many reasons to come here. That said, I'm thankful for the mission and glad I dropped by. It's a super cute place and the bartender had a nice relaxed chill vibe to her. This is where I'd normally drop her name and give her kudos - but I didn't get her name. I thought her name would be on the receipt, but it wasn't! I assume her name isn't "Shift Night N" anyway, which would be weird - but that's what is listed for "server". Anyway... the burger... I liked it. I liked it a lot. I was not asked how I wanted it cooked (not expected or demanded by me) - but an observation that I toss in for comparison purposes. It was cooked to a solid medium, which is fine with me. Caramelized onions were standard - nice - but the tomato and lettuce were listed as 'optional' - and the bartender (Shift Night N) asked me if I wanted them. I opted in. The bun was above average - definitely a notch above the typical mass-produced buns often used elsewhere. I opted for sweet potato fries. They had good flavor. Personal preference-wise... I would have liked them to be cooked a smidge more. If/when I come back, I'll probably ask them to be crispy-er. Overall, thumbs up! I wouldn't hesitate to come back and try other things on the menu. #burgers
