My husband and I just got green detox smoothies and they were not up to the usual standard. They were basically just ice with minimal flavor. We brought it to their attention and the reply was, "Oh, they just turn out that way sometimes." Meanwhile we spent over $12 (plus $2 tip) for two large cups of ice. Very disappointed. We will likely return as we have had excellent smoothies there in the past but will make sure to ask for an experienced, trained person to handle our order and avoid Brontë S. 8/15/25. I wouldn't order here via Uber/DoorDash. They forgot my drink with my order even thought it was the first thing on the receipt? After talking with customer service I couldn't even have someone go back and get it because I needed to order again to make it worth it to the driver after paying $50 . I will not pay for someone elses mistake ‍ keep the smoothie. read more

I didn't think I would find many healthy options in Springfield. But this place came to my rescue. At first, the name is a little off-putting. It's like you think of those awful sugary smoothies at the mall. But this place- served green smoothies with no added sugar. They have salads and sandwiches. It's a fantastic fast-casual place to grab lunch or a snack on the go. It's also pretty cute inside and I know you can order on an app/online for pick up too! read more

Love having to wait on my order for 25 minutes because the workers are busy chatting with their friends that are visiting the shop. Kind of frustrating! read more

This is my favorite place for lunch or a snack! Wonderful! Could go everyday! The app lets you order, pay and then grab n go! So convenient! read more

If I could give this place more than five stars I definitely would. I have been to maybe dozens of smoothie places all over the United States and it is extremely hard to find a place that sells delicious smoothies. They have the perfect balance of healthiness and deliciousness. I ordered one of the tropical smoothies and I have enjoyed every single drop of it. The watermelon mint smoothie is also a very good option. My friend ordered a salad from here and it looked fresh and delicious. She had nothing to complain about it. Overall if I'm ever in Springfield Missouri again I will do my best to stop by this place for a refreshing smoothie. read more

I visited Tropical Smoothie on Kentwood in Springfield and ordered a Thai Chicken Salad with a side of sweet potatoes. When I was back across town at my office, I realized all I got was a salad with no chicken and no sweet potatoes. I've tried to call the location several times but there's no answer. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe - THAI CHICKEN SALAD - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Springfield, Missouri

If you can't simply cut a wrap all the way through that someone payed $12 for, you probably shouldn't work for tropical smoothie

Not friendly and I think that they were triggered by my Trump mask. Didn't want to even serve me or my friends but had no problem helping everyone else. Won't be back even if it was free. I will pay twice as much for food and a smoothie before I would go back there. They hate Trump supporters here! If you support Trump they won't serve you. read more

As a little update, the manager there has delayed sending my W2 for weeks, and I still haven't gotten it. And nobody is held accountable for this. read more

Smoothies are super yummy and love the customizable options. I like half turbinado in them so they aren't too sweet. Also try the southwest breakfast wrap but sub bacon instead of chicken. SO GOOD! read more

Yes, tasty. Yes, options...but mercy. Expensive and some things are super high in calories if you aren't careful. Plus the chairs are blinding and the place screams neon. Not very appetizing. I ordered a turkey sandwich, which was pretty small. It was very basic but the bread was nice and the ingredients were fresh. No complaints. Now? The smoothie part of this whole experience. I got sidetracked by the big pretty pictures on the menu and ordered the cucumber mojito smoothie. I didn't want to read all the options so I picked the coolest looking drink. I was sitting right at the "bar", which meant I got to watch the girl make my drink up close. Or attempt to make. It's not promising to hear "I feel like I forgot something" as she pours it in the cup. I paid like $6 for that cup--all the ingredients better be in it! I also understand how hard it must be to keep so many ingredients on hand and fresh...but seeing her unroll half a mottled brown avocado from some saran wrap is pretty unappetizing. I would suggest to not even include avocado as an option if you don't have the capability to keep it fresh. I honestly didn't notice it in the finished product, so if I hadn't been sitting so close at the bar, I would have been none the wiser. read more

Yeah I gotta say I'm not impressed by the way my daughter was treated here.My daughter was threatened by some mean girls here and left with a restraining order. Now, what seems to be happening is somehow she's the bad guy. Now,we'll call her Regina, she actually called and left messages threatening my daughter and then try to backtrack with some have a blessed day bullcrap.Regina did not cover her tracks and it was all saved enough for 2 judges to grant that order. So my daughter told the manager months prior that she was being bullied and he blew her off.He is a real peach too,he denied her being bullied but yet my daughter's restraining order says otherwise.I mean I get wanting to defend poor Regina, but she couldn't help herself and left messages even stating that she use to purposely say mean girl stuff to my daughter knowing she would go cry to him.A judge heard and read this, and approved for Regina to get anger management classes, and has a district manager been involved?Who knows folks! What I know is Regina and her mean girls are running Tropical Smoothie not the manager. read more

Great food, as always! If you're looking for friendly service, this is not the location for you. Argumentative and rude. Will not be back.

This Café not only offers fresh smoothies, but they offer fresh food as well. I looked at the menu while I was there and meals run around 6.99. They also have a half sandwich and smoothie for 6.99. The decor was fun and bright and the staff was very friendly. Looking forward to going back! read more

This was my first time at this cafe and I love it! The atmosphere is great and the service is phenomenal. I ordered a Detox Island Green Smoothie and it tasted great! The ginger really adds a kick to it and it felt like I was drinking something healthy. I would highly recommend this place for those who are watching what they eat! read more

Used to love tropical smoothie, but I have had three bad experiences in a row now and I don't think I'll be going back for a while. The Ultimate Club is a great sandwich, but the variations I have gotten recently are pretty rough. Cold, or odd proportions had been my previous two orders, but the one last night was baffling. By asking for "extra Chipotle mayo" (NEVER do this, ask for a side), i got an odd sandwich. Cold bacon, both slices of bread completely dry, no tomato, no Swiss cheese, extra turkey, and more parmesan than should ever be put on anything. I don't know how they got that from the phrase "extra Chipotle mayo". Unfortunately it was inedible. I'll try back in a few months. read more

So healthy and delicious! The workers are so friendly and welcoming, I'll definitely keep coming back.

Messed up my drink and then charged me for another one when I asked if they could fix it... At least they were nice about screwing me over.

My smoothie was good but my girlfriends tasted horrible, she went up and told them about it and Kyle gave her a blank stare and rang her up for a new one. Seems like a low play. Thanks Kyle, you're a jerk. read more

i came in today and ordered the caesar chicken wrap. i ordered it with no tomatoes and got it with tomatoes. i also always get it cold and it has caesar dressing on it i got no caesar dressing and it was soggy warm lettuce. very disappointed and sad that i paid for this and only took one bite. read more

One of our go tos for lunch. As someone who makes green smoothies for breakfast at home everyday and knows the cost of fresh ingredients, I believe the price is more than fair for the quality, size and freshness of their smoothies and food. Plus you'll feel much better after eating here than if you had gone through a drive through somewhere. Tip: join their email club and get coupons. read more

Good value, good food, good smoothies. A very nice atmosphere with nice people serving. This was a great find.

Clean, modern decor and exceptional service set this outpost of the ubiquitous Tropical Smoothie chain apart from its lesser brethren. On our visit, food was delivered to our table before we'd even had a chance to sit down and it was as reliably delicious as I've come to expect from other TS locations. Seating isn't quite as comfortable as the one on South Campbell, but it's an easy sacrifice to make in the name of cheap, healthy food on the quick. read more

I really like this place and my husband and I enjoy going there for "lunch dates". The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly.
