The patty was a perfectly crispy smash patty, the onions super thinly sliced, the cheese was the best ratio. The fries were also to die for, i think a battered fry. When you're thinking about burgers, Black Sheep needs to be at the top of your list…read more Casually sitting in what looks like a shipping container off of Glenstone, Black Sheep ASAP is the perfect pit stop for a quick burger and shake while you're out. Despite the ruggedness of the shipping container exterior, the inside has a comfy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating with cartoons playing on tv downstairs and hockey upstairs. The service was fast and very friendly with very little wait time. I opted for the Light My Fire burger because I appreciate The Doors reference. Don't let the name or jalapeños fool you, it wasn't spicy but it was absolutely packed with flavor. Between the wagyu, peppers, cheese, and candied bacon this burger was spectacular! The fries are, well, fries. You have a choice of various aiolis to pick from. I chose the malt vinegar and my wife went for the garlic. In my opinion, they're better with hot spice or just ketchup but I didn't come here for the fries. We also got the Strawberry Fields and Oreo shakes. If you've ever had the cake shake from Chicago's Portillo's, you might like the Strawberry Fields shake that includes strawberry cake swimming in the strawberry shake. Definitely worth it! Overall, one of the better burgers I've had around the Springfield area, so if you're out for a quick burger that's a step up from the rest, head over to Black Sheep!

It's just embarrassing and I will never be going back as well as anyone else I know. Everyone has off days but as a business owner not knowing how to handle your emotions when you may be stressed is ridiculous/embarrassing especially towards your customers. They like to respond to past comments and say they've reviewed footage and nothing happened like customers say, but I'd LOVE to actually see this footage bc it was so embarrassing for this small business owner to yell at her customers like this. Like you need to take accountability for once and just acknowledge it was not okay to treat paying customers like that.

Wow, Mama Jean's has really stepped up their game!…read more Ok, I've never been in this location, was in-and-out at the one on Sunshine and 65, so the only memories I really have of Mama Jean's were weird, childhood ones of the location on Campbell. That being said, I was totally wowed when my Mom and I stopped in here to grab just a few vegetables. When I saw the cafe, I immediately asked her if she wanted to get a drink while we shop. I ordered a delicious unsweet iced tea (and I got a free refill on my way out!) and my Mom ordered the Honey Latte iced. The girl who took our order was sweet, happy to help, and got our drinks out quickly. I've been living in Buffalo, NY for the last 5 years, which is certainly more ethnically and politically diverse than Springfield, so I've become accustomed to finding certain brands and products at local grocery stores out East that stock specifically for the demographic. I had hoped but didn't place my happiness on being able to find those brands here, but sure enough, Mama Jean's had everything I was looking for and more! I'm so happy! We bought our local vegetables we wanted, I grabbed a cereal I was telling my mom about earlier that day, and even grabbed a joint supplement one of the staff helped me find to improve my half marathon training I'm doing right now. I was thrilled; I had no idea Mama Jean's was this great! I'll be shopping here for all my Springfield trips for sure!

We were facing the rolled ice cream section and she told us she could only make three ice creams because she was by herself. We were the only people in the cafe! It was my mom's birthday so two people didn't get to have any ice cream and it made her feel horrible! After we placed our order, she gave us major attitude the rest of the time we were there. The customer service at this place could improve drastically! This is the second time we've been here (the only rolled ice cream place near us) and my mom wanted us to go here for her birthday. Especially since it is my sister's favorite ice cream place. The customer service was just as bad back then (this was years ago) and we hoped it was better. This will most definitely be our last time here!
