At a loss! Who owns/manages this location? There's clearly no direction or oversight of staff on a daily basis. Everyone is on their phones and taking their time. I waited 10 minutes for my smoothie and I was their only customer today around 8:15am and the order was still wrong. It tasted like powder. I often go to pepper tree or Zelda to avoid dealing with this location although it's the closest to my office. This place needs new management, someone present. read more

I have tried repeatedly to give this establishment an opportunity to improve on the quality and attention to details in filling the orders-- to no avail. The issues continue and are seemingly getting worse. That's sad since they have good smoothies and food when fulfilled accurately and adequately at customers' request. Today's customer experience has been no better than previous ones. This morning the Delivery option was great! However, I received an incorrect item. Ordered corn and unsure what I was given???? And the BLT quesadilla does not taste fresh-- under cooked under heated with barely any bacon on it. Just a few undercooked bacon crumbs. As usual with their quesadillas (very little requested mea for the price), a couple slices didn't even have any bacon crumbs. Also, the app did not allow use of the $1 off deliver promo code. Ordered a smoothie online, which i asked for no strawberries since I am allergic and they still put strawberries in my smoothie I contacted the location via the app no response. I am highly upset because this could have ended bad if I didn't notice there were strawberries. Very pleasant and helpful staff! It's a small store that serves up a variety of smoothies and "real food" too. Wraps and sandwiches can be served as a combo meal with your choice of chips, cookie or fruit. Beyond meat, a chicken alternative, is also available upon request. I personal feel the hummus wrap is so hearty, no TVP is needed, but the more vegetarian options the better! read more

YIKES. This is a dreadful Tropical Smoothie location. My husband and I dropped in to get a couple of smoothies while we were traveling, and we were met with an unfriendly woman who looked like she'd rather not have us there. The eating area was dirty, as were the bathrooms. The men's bathroom didn't have paper towels. Our smoothies turned out fine--we got the chocolate chiller and the island green--but we wouldn't return to this location because of its unclean condition. read more

Pretty good and "healthy" food. Excellent smoothies, though somewhat pricy. Favorite dish: Hummus Veggie Wrap Reason for 2 stars: poor service trumps decent food every time. Been on 3 visits in the last week between the hours of 5 and 9 pm. Only 1 person working EVERY time. Once I even left before ordering because after 5 min of standing in line I discovered the guy who looked like he was waiting in a meal haven't even been helped yet. There's no reason to not have at least 2 people working during regular eating hours - period. Not sure when I'll be back, it's just unreasonable in my opinion. I've taken the kids on two separate occasions to this establishment to get smoothies. The same young lady has been the cashier both times and while she was not very friendly, she wasn't rude either. My only gripes were in the length of time to make the smoothie and its cost but, WOW the taste is AMAZING! I've had the Island smoothie and the Green ? while the children have had the strawberry-banana and the strawberry lemonade smoothies. All four were great. This place will be a treat for us due to the price. Once a week after practice or something. But we'll definitely be returning. EDIT: Had to lower rating; they scored an 88 on their health rating. I've been searching for a better smoothie place than Smoothie King and I found it back during the Spring. Since my dad worked next door, I went here everyday after school/track practice to do homework and get something to eat. Everyone was really nice and friendly, and their smoothies are the bomb. I also love their flatbreads and sandwiches. Update to my last review: they finally use the smartphone app, but you can't order ahead with it at this location. You can only use it to pay and get reward points. Opening a new location in the Montgomery/Prattville area. I was looking for a better choice of eating other than the typical fast food. My 1st time ever having Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The food and smoothies are great! The customer service is by far the worst I've had in this area. My 1st visit, the young lady was wearing an AirPod listening to music. I thoroughly enjoyed my smoothie today. The people were kind and they wrote onto the cup the order plus all of the add-ons. This is the first location I've seen do that and I think it helps. I have been at this location twice in the past month. My order was taken both times by a cashier named Charity. She is extremely unfriendly and unapproachable. I asked her to smile and got nothing.
