    I got a hurricane smoothie and it was fantastic! They brought it over to the table where I was sitting too, fantastic service and tasty smoothies!

    I went to this location today. I placed my order with Wendaeza at 1:22. I was never asked if my order was for here or Togo. I ordered two kids turkey and cheddar wrap meals, on the menu it showed that they were 3.99, but my total was 10.80. The cashier asked me if I wanted a receipt and since it didn't print out automatically I just said no. I sat down and waited for my order. I previously visited a different location on Saturday and they brought my order out to me so I assumed that would be the case here as well. As I was waiting for my food I could see that the cashier was on her phone the entire time I was waiting for my food. After about 15 minutes of waiting I get up to ask if our food is ready and the cashier looks at me and says what? I repeated myself, is our food ready we've been waiting quiet awhile for it. Long behold it was just sitting behind her on the counter. Who knows for how long. While I was waiting I went to the tropical smoothie app to see if I was being crazy about the price difference. I know some places charge a little extra when adults order kids meals. So I just wanted to see and hey I had the time. On the app it said my total would've been 8.64. After she hands me my food I ask her about the price discrepancy. She very rudely cuts me off and says that's the price for the kids smoothies. Mind you I'm not asking about smoothies. I'm asking why the price on the menu and in the app states 3.99 but I was charged 10.80. She says I'll tell my GM. Okay I walk away and put my food down. I come back and she is still on her phone and now she is talking to the other employees in her headset I'm assuming about me. I know that when you're talking amongst coworkers the head set flashes and when you're taking an order/talking to the drive thru customers it's a solid color. In this case hers was flashing red. I asked her if she was going to get that fixed now because I was overcharged by about two dollars. She says OUTLOUD "oh my god" rolls her eyes and walks to the back. At the point I'm extremely frustrated I have never been treated like this at any tropical smoothie let alone any restaurant in Lubbock. So I ask to speak to the manager. The manager, Cynthia, comes out phone in hand with her airpod in her ear. I start explaining the situation and she just seems like she could care less. She's like the pricing is my fault I didn't fix it. I'm like okay but it says the same thing on the app. She responded with I'll be sure to tell my district manager. She doesn't even apologize once. Not for my food just sitting there. Not for the rudeness of her employees. Not for the pricing discrepancy, nothing. So I flat out ask her are you even going to apologize for anything? She's like well yeah sorry. I was like you know what I just want to give you all this food back and I want a refund. She states I can keep the food and she'll give me my money back. I asked her if she had a name and she said it's right there on the card and walked away. I am extremely disappointed in how I was treated today. I can see that the staff at this location is a direct reflection of their General manager and that is sad. I will never return to this location again if this is how they practice treating their customers.

    This was my favorite place to go in the afternoon. I have gone to one of the 2 locations every day since they have opened and have been so disappointed in this location the last 2 days. It hasn't been blended enough at all and has little rocks (hopefully sugar rocks) in it... when the chunk of pineapple blocks the straw we got a problem- my ninja does a better job so hope you got a discount on y'all's blenders

    Sometimes good food, when it's made correctly. Service is beyond horrible. I ordered an avocado smoothie 3:56 pm and waited 15 minutes to drive to get it. I get there at about 4:10 pm, proceed inside to pick up my order. Think again! After being ignored for about 5 minutes an employee tells me no avocado. I then asked for a refund and that really threw her for a loop. She tells me I have to cancel on the app. Total BS! You can not get a refund on the app. She walks away and another employee asked if she could help me and I replied yes, I need to get a refund for the avocado smoothie. Guess what? She tells me to did it on the app. I showed her my phone and asked if she could tell me how to get a refund on the app. Guess what, she couldn't. I then became demanding about a refund. She tells me she has to talk to the manager. After she tells me she will talk to a manager, she turned around, put on her headset on and started preparing food for the drive through. After a few minutes I asked if she was going to speak with a manager. She responds, yeah as soon as I'm done. She finishes what she is doing, walks away and disappears. I then step away for the counter and notice the only other customer inside with no mask. I then asked if mask were mandatory and an employee tells me that they are required, but she wasn't a costumer, she was there to interview so she didn't have to wear a mask. Smh! After several minutes I approach the counter again and talk to who I think was a manager. I ask if they can just make me something else since they don't know how to give refunds. He made another smoothie that costs less than what I paid. He brings me the smoothie and with absolutely no apology tells me the order wasn't placed until 4:10 pm (see attachment) I ordered at 3:56 pm I told him that he was wrong and he started to argue that I was wrong. After listening to him telling me I wasn't being truthful, I turn around and leave

    This place is fantastic! Smoothies taste just like fruit, now the milky taste that smoothie king has. Food is great as well

This isn't to say this is the worst food in existence, but for the price point I can't recommend this place. Let me start by saying this restaurant seems to have a massive variation in the quality of its dishes. I imagine the positive reviews probably ordered some sort of specialty signature dishes as what I got was just reprehensible. Do not order the tomato soup and grilled cheese, don't even consider it. For $9 I got a small cup of soup and HALF of a sandwich, must of been pretty good for the price right?.... I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that when I accidentally burn grilled cheeses at home, they are still better in every category than what I received here. Zero flavor. The tomato soup looked really good, but also had such little flavor that dunking the grilled cheese in it actually made the grilled cheese worse. This meal would've been a tough sell if my 5 year old cousin made it for me when I was sick. My friend also gave their green beans cause they didn't want it... and I can see why, it was also horrifically bland. Also nabbed a few tater tots from the chicken steak and they were super breaded, not bad but not impressive. The "shining" star of the experience was the mulita I got as an appetizer, quite good, like a 3/5 good though, still rather dry and covered in cilantro, came with some sauce, but overall the best thing I had. The decor of the place was just baffling. High ceiling, high chairs, white walls, random TTU alumni adorning the walls, tvs with sports running. Seemingly trying to be a nice place, but the kind of nice place where you can watch the latest football game while having an overpriced beer and the worst grilled cheese of your life. The service I got was fine, on the lower side of quality (especially for the price point). I did like the brown overalls they were wearing, very steampunk. When I saw this place had an overwhelmingly positive reception, I was excited to go there, but this was one of the most disappointing places I've visited in Lubbock which sucks cause it's local. For $20 i got half a grilled cheese, worst than canned soup, and 3 mulitas (which I shared). Maybe to some they would say this was a middling experience, but have some standards for yourself people. I sincerely hope that I just had rotten luck picking the worst item on the menu, and this place is actually quite good, but that's all optimism and no reality. What I got was one star, please fix your grilled cheese. 3/15 (+ brown overalls, + mulita, -everything else) Fails in pretty much every category, I'm sure some dishes are good, but I won't revisit in some futile attempt to find one
