I've also been ordering from Smoothie King a lot lately, so I figured I'd give this place a shot. Day 1, I ordered a chicken wrap. It was decent but the jalapeño corn was honestly the only reason I decided to come back. It had good flavor and stood out more than the wrap itself. Day 2, I came back for my free smoothie and ordered another wrap with the jalapeño corn. This time the wrap was nothing but rice. Barely any chicken and almost no avocado at all. It just wasn't it. It tasted like cardboard with sauce. The smoothie was okay, nothing special. I still prefer Smoothie King. Service was fine. No complaints there. Overall, I'd give it 3 stars. It wasn't terrible, but nothing great either, and not really a place I see myself going back to. read more

Needed a substantial bevie that was both cool and filling and found this spot on Sunday afternoon. Parked and pulled up the menu on my phone. We decided on the Detox Island Green mostly for the the ginger. We walked into a customer being unpleasant to the staff. Her response to whatever the problem was really unnecessary. Valentina handled it professionally with poise. We waited less than 5 minutes for our smoothie. It's was refreshing and filling. The space was bright, clean and vibrant. I came today after work second time I come here . First time was 4 months ago. It took almost 40 mins after I paid to serve the food. It does not take 40 mins. Today I came to give them another chance. I order a smoothie again slow and there was another customer. I waited again 15 mins. Why? I don't get it. I have been to the tropical smoothie cafe in hialeah gardens and service is excellent! And very friendly. Why can this place be the same. Not given them any more chances i am done! read more

To begin with, I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I think this specific location deserves a staff change due to the appalling service, based on past experiences ordering from them. However, what prompted me to leave this comment is what happened last Tuesday, October 2nd, 2026. I placed an order around 8 pm, an hour before the store closed. Neither the website nor the location's map indicated that they closed before 9 pm, and even worse, the app allowed me to place the order and pick it up at that location. To my surprise, when I arrived at the store 30 minutes before closing time to pick up my order, I found the store closed and no one inside to assist me. I'm attaching two photos of my purchase receipt and the closed store, which was clearly closed early because the store next door was still open. I ordered a veggie wrap, and guess what? The hummus that was supposed to be in it was missing. Strike one. Then there's the smoothies--packed with sugar they *don't* tell you about unless you squint at the fine print buried at the bottom of the menu. Strike two. When I asked for no sugar, one of the employees (a female) got so worked up, she started slamming the blender like it was a personal attack. Ma'am, it's just a smoothie one you don't own this place two you don't get paid enough to care that much. Relax. I also got the Southwest omelet wrap and that was really good also it's a regular size wrap with omelet AND chicken (double protein) and spinach and tomatoes. Only $3,99! I noticed that the lady making the Wraps was in a very bad mood throwing the sauces and stuff. My friend told me she is making your wrap now and I was like... oh boy!!! This place is well located with lots of parking space and a nice table set up. The smoothies are huge (too big for me) and taste super good, they are worth it, and can't complaint about the prices. I love Tropical Cafe , its one of my favorite places. I was closed to this location before getting to an appointment and I stopped to get an amazing meal. But to my surprised i didn't get what i had order and was extremely disappointed since it was the first time i took my father to try it out. This had never happened to me at any of the other locations. They gave me someone else's meal when they called my name and since we were in a rush we didn't check the bag until after my appointment when we got home and it was too late and out of our way to go back. I am sure the person who's order I got was as disappointed and mad as we were. Definitely need better organization skills when it comes to handling several orders. I had been here before, but today I saw something that might be the last time I get food from this place. One of the guys making the smoothies was wiping the counter with his hands and never changed his glove. I order peanut paradise without bananas. I recently had 100 wraps and a 100 smoothies delivered to Jackson Memorial Hospital on behalf of a group feeding local emergency rooms honoring our healthcare workers. The employees at the Doral Tropical Smoothie Café made our huge delivery speedy and easy. They even wrote handwritten thank you cards for each meal. Nice touch guys. The feedback I received from the staff at JMH was overwhelming. After a very difficult shift, the meals that were provided were "the rainbow in their storm". They were so grateful and loved the food. I really wanted to like this place. I really did. I'm always looking for more healthy options in my area. When I first saw the menu I was a bit disappointed. Everything was high in calories and not even that healthy. I had the pesto flatbread which was ok. I know some of my friends like the Hawaiian flatbread a lot. One time we went there in a group of three, my friend and I both tried out the salad. It was honestly the most boring salad I ever had. But that wasn't even the worst part. My friend had bugs and even a dead ladybug in his salad. Funny thing is he's a vegetarian and had the veggie option so he was even less thrilled about animals in his food. I've always enjoyed tropical smoothie the food is great but this place is by far the worst customer service I've experience in a tropical smoothie ever. I usually order over the phone but this location doesn't allow that so I go to the app because acotó the kid at the counter that or in person are the only way anyways I order through the app and the app tells me to call the location and order through the phone at this point I call again they don't answer after 5 calls.
