Planet smoothie is a great local spot for us. This location is in a shopping center in Doral off of 97th Avenue and 41st st. It's always been easy for us to drive in and grab a quick smoothie, my wife, son and I all really like it. My son's favorite is the PBJ smoothie, and mine is the Peanut Butter Punch. A small is 20oz and plenty of smoothie, and it goes up from there. There are Fruit type smoothies, Protein smoothies, and Meal replacement smoothies as the top categories of smoothies. There are also addons like Immunity boosts, more protein, and more that you can add for a little over a dollar for each one. They have Acai bowls there too but I haven't tried them yet. They're open until 9pm so it's great for a post-workout recharger of a smoothie! read more

This is great go-to smoothie spot close to my home. They have traditional flavors and a few other items. I usually go for chocolate peanut butter or strawberry banana. They have great flavors. My son loves the PBJ smoothie from there. There's a little bit of seating in there, and they have a small selection of snacks as well as Acai bowls. The smoothies range from small snacks to complete meal replacements. Everything is made fresh, to order, and typically doesn't take too long to get your blended treat. Yelpers, When I saw that this location had boba I couldn't open the car door fast enough. The servers were nice with an eagerness to make sure that all orders were taken, this was nice. I got the strawberry smoothie with Boba and was ready to start chewing away on those nice surprises until they burst in my mouth like a balloon. Unfortunately, the boba at this location isn't actually boba, it's liquid filled balls. Yes, I said it. It is not tasty to put this experience mildly so be careful when ordering it. Just FYI. Been going to this place for years now, I love the smoothies and cookies they offer. You can get either a protein smoothie or simply a fruit smoothie of your choice to replace a meal. My favorite smoothie is the twig and berries ( strawberries, bananas, frozen yogurt ) it always hits the spot and leaves me happy, the smoothie has the perfect sweetness to it. Even if the carbs might still be there I feel much healthier when I have a smoothie from planet smoothie rather than eating anything else high on fat and sodium. I've recently decided to change up my mornings from the usual cafe con leche and tostada to a more nutriently dense breakfast of sorts SOMETIMES...and Planet Smoothie has fit the bill. Service is fast and friendly and menu varies depending on your preference, you can go fruity, focus on protein, energy or even go Green. I've surprisingly gone for the lean green smoothie. At first, I must admit I was scurred. I'm not one to be very green friendly and I can't really tell apart my vegetables...our relationship is that of a hate/hate; but my golly goodness this green drink was two thumbs up! It had enough fruit in it to disguise the green so the taste of spinach was way less than expected. Another nice option is the protein added...you can choose to do a vegetable protein which is pea based, soy, or whey. For those unaware of it, whey makes you fart sooooo choose wisely! read more

I recently wrote a review about a negative experience I had after buying an açaí bowl & the store manager was kind enough to reach out to me & try to fix the issue. The açaí was not prepared properly, but up until recently their employees underwent the adequate training to prevent any problems in the future. Jean Garcia (store manager) offered me an açaí bowl free of charge in attempt to regain my trust & she sure did so! I'm glad they handled everything so responsibly, their staff was extremely sweet as well. Planet Smoothie is by far the only place where i've been able to find a tasty açaí bowl for a good price. They're also one of the few places where they add honey which is how most Brazilians eat it & i'm telling you it completely transforms the taste!! Pass by if you have the chance to. read more

This place has been here since the beginning - and I mean, since Doral began to take shape as a unique community, as a result, they deserve a huge shout out. Almost like old high school or college memories, we can still remember how we would converge here on any given week night right after our Indoor Cycling or Circuit Training session. Those were some pretty cool times, to have a group of like minded individuals meet here to enjoy a smoothie before heading home. The menu has something to please everyone, from energy to recovery to meal replacements, the best part is ...they work !!! and they taste good as well. I'm so excited to be back on Planet Smoothie after the long years of living where there are no ways to get there! The PBJ smoothie here is to die for, a rich, yet refreshing combo of yogurt, bananas, strawberries, and peanut butter. There are plenty of options for both those new to smoothies, as well as for the adventurous veterans. Everything is freshly made to order, although many of the fruits are accompanied by syrups. To balance things out, there are boost options where you can add protein, fiber, and the like, to your blended masterpiece. I like to think of these smoothies as a treat with benefits rather than health food if that makes sense. They are so delicious! I also really like their additional protein bar selection, but the real treasure outside of the smoothie menu are the giant vegan cookies (shoutout to the Alternative Baking Company!) they sell by the register. At almost $3 a cookie, many would roll their eyes, however, these cookies are worth the splurge. They are dense and full of flavor! I can't leave without a Lemon Poppyseed cookie. The staff here is friendly and always happy to see you. Love this place! Also, sign up for Plum Rewards to get coupon codes to enter onto the iPad at the counter. I was looking for a heathy late night option in the area so I stopped by planet smoothie. I really like the açaí bowls and they had some new options to try so I figured I'd give them a try. Needless to say I think they'd better stick to smoothies. It was basically a bowl with frozen açaí and half a banana. I've had much better bowls not that it was bad, it was just liquidy and lacking other fruits and toppings. Next time I'll try the smoothie. read more

The smoothies here are pretty good. I would compare it to the likes of Jamba Juice, which they even have the similar swirly tornado logo on their cups! Sister company or blatant rip? I've come here for a while and the smoothies have all been pretty good even though the employees always have a depressed attitude. Today, I ordered a Mountain Man Crunch (my usual) and the kid that was preparing it didn't seem to know what he was doing. I have never seen him, so i figured he was new. He then takes another order and the girl finishes preparing the smoothie. When she poured it she gave it a weird look but then put the lid and gave it to me. As I walked across the street to my job, i tasted it and noticed it was super runny and the texture was slimy, not as thick as usual. A few sips in I started to just taste pure peanut butter (i guess that's the texture i was getting). Never have i ever tasted a worse smoothie. I realized why the girl gave it a weird look, instead of making a new one knowing it should be thick and not water like consistency, she handed that nastiness to me. The acai bowls were terrible. They had the consistency of water, not even a thick smoothie. We were really looking forward to the acai but when we received the bowls, we were able to shake them and the water splashed around in the container. I drank the acai bowl like soup.
