Capri with grilled salmon sandwich
Naomi K.

Super friendly here. Place isn't overwhelmingly packed like many of the other restaurants on the strip. Got the Capri with salmon and a Cuban with chicken. Both were quite good. Outdoor seating nice. The bigger tables have bench seating. Two family style bathrooms make it convenient. Easy shared parking with the rest of the plaza. Definitely get a smoothie. They're delicious and not chalky like other places that add proteins and other dry stuff to bulk it up.

Such a good experience dining here. My friend and I stopped here for a quick lunch and had an amazing food. We both went for the grilled salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the sauces on the side are a must. The sides we chose were corn, spinach, quinoa and sweet potato mash. Everything tasted like it was freshly made. They have a cute little dining area, the employees are sweet, and food is good clean eats with good flavor. Wish this place was near my home because I really liked it. Hope to visit in the future for some more good eats. Yummy ~

Grown Simple Greens with chicken

Super salty chicken and not fresh produce in my salad. Cute decor but the food is lacking the "organic vibe" for the cost. I also had the tortilla soup which was too salty.

Love this place! The staff, the food, the ambience!!! Perfect spot for a late breakfast or delicious lunch! They take such great care of their customers. If you haven't been, make sure to!

Acai Bowl

In search of the perfect Açaí bowl and this one is currently at the top of my list! A few days ago I discovered that Grown has them! Another thing I could not believe I didn't know, was that they have a DRIVE-THRU. Here are my reasons for the five star bowls... Super friendly service with lots of patience answering my questions. DELICIOUS açaí flavor, I mean, really packed with yummy flavor. Crunchy and tasty cacao nibs that add to the yummy açaí. Pineapple chopped into small bite size pieces. Very fresh fruit!! The PERFECT shredded coconut topping. I chose not to add flaxseed but it is available. I would love to have some granola in it, which is not an option. Then it would be perfect. This tiny bowl, although a really satisfying snack, is very little bang for the money. I will come back for it again, but it will be a special treat.

I find this place to be crazy expensive for mediocre food. I had such high hopes when it opened bc it's the closest drive through to my house and I loved the idea of a healthy drive through option. Healthy, however, does not have to mean bland.. My first experience was 1-star.. via drive through soon after it opened, I ordered a Capri sandwich. I was pretty appalled by the price but there's no exiting this drivethough.. once you're in it you're committed! So I figured okay it must come with sides (nope!) and must be amazing.. (nope!). As one does when they order a Capri, my mouth was watering in anticipation of a crisp baguette, lovely tomatoes, fresh chunk of mozzarella, some basil... well that's not what I got. The bread was nothing special, but the real kicker.. I was horrified by the fact that I'd paid an outrageous price and they gave me (on a Capri mind you) a cheap thin square deli slice of mozzarella. I thought to myself if they were out of fresh mozzarella they should have told me because this sandwich is a joke.. I'm very confused as to why they would think that's acceptable. Apparently it's never actually fresh mozzarella. I hadn't been back since.. until my aunt suggested it last weekend and we went for lunch. I thought, sure I'll try it again.. it's been a long time and it's still open. This time I had a fresh juice, a wrap, and a cookie. I made a mistake of asking for the juice the girl behind the counter recommended.. beets.. yuck. That one I'll take the blame for. The wrap I got was the Havana, with added salmon. The wrap was small.. I expected larger, since I added salmon, but it was still smaller than expected. The taste was not bad.. just bland. The cookie wasn't bad, but nothing special. Overall the food here is disappointing.. and when you take into consideration the price, it's just absurd. What do they do well? The design inside and out is really cute, well done. The staff I interacted with were extremely nice and friendly.

Grown is a cute restaurant located on Dixie Highway. It seems more suited for lunch than dinner, but both are decent options. Grown has a great menu with lots of healthy choices. Especially worth noting is that there are very good vegan food options. On my visit, we ordered vegan faux tuna with chickpeas, potatoes, minestrone, salad. We were happy with everything. All the food at Grown features quality ingredients. On my visit, I received decent service. Maybe my only ding on the restaurant is that they have a poor self-ordering interface. Grown has a nice décor and a decent mix of indoor and outdoor seating. It is a do again for me.

Sauteed Shrimp Dinner

Very quite and clean spot. The staff was nice and offered a small sample. Food is prepared with minimal seasoning, which is good for a healthy meal. Pricey.

the wrap that fell apart with shrimp in it.

Ordered a mediterranean wrap on whole wheat with tuna salad. When I paid, I noticed the cost was $20 for the wrap. TWENTY DOLLARS! I also noticed it had both shrimp and tuna listed on the itemized receipt and I said - please don't put shrimp on this (thinking it would lower the cost, also I'm disgusted by shrimp). The girl says "oh thats a substitute for the tuna just for charging/receipt purposes. Then they say.. they are out of tuna salad. Also out of chicken salad. So I ask for chicken. I finally get my $20 wrap and what's in it? Shrimp. Also the wrap fell apart immediately.

Don't let the 3 1/2 stars fool you! This place is awesome! Grown took over a whole corner on this shopping plaza and made a huge statement. It looks like if a furniture store from around the corner, but instead it's a restaurant. The food inside is as good as that statement on the facade. I came here with the fam to check this place out. I had absolutely no idea that everything here was organic/non GMO, that Ray Allen and his wife Shannon owned this place, that they participate in many community programs, etc. I found all this out while I was enjoying my meal. I really liked the menu offerings, using a lot of country style dishes. I ordered the grilled salmon, the brisket, and a Mediterranean sandwich w/chicken. We also had grilled vegetables, corn, and a tortilla soup. I really liked the food, the fish was very fresh and well cooked, the veggies were al dente and had nice burnt mark, the corn was really good, the sandwich was like a salad between two slices of bread, it was all very well made and fresh, without adding the organic/non GMO factor. Now, I have read a lot of the other reviews, and many complain about the prices. The prices reflect what you pay for eating under the label of organic/non GMO. I have paid the same at other eateries with the same system/style and I definitively like Grown way better, because everything is fresh, made to order and al dente. The same applies to the smoothies and the juices. I definitively recommend Grown if you are into better nutrition. You really are what you eat, so don't fill your body with crappy food. I am not saying only eat organic/non GMO, but at least incorporate it into your diet. More importantly, pay attention to what you eat.

Came in for tulips for a friend. I love getting flowers here because of selection is always so big…read moreand the flowers are always so fresh. I had no idea they will wrap up the flowers and make a really cute bouquet with the flowers you pick out at no cost. You just pay for your flowers! The florist who wrapped up my flowers was kind and did a great job. This might be my new cheat code!

Premium prices, premium products, and, presumably, premium service. Right? Unfortunately, that…read morewasn't my experience today. The service at the bakery/confections counter was, frankly, atrocious. This is easily the worst I've encountered at any Whole Foods. I visited the store around 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday to pick up some cheeses and a dessert. The cheese department was excellent, per usual. But the bakery section was a different story. Despite having zero customers (and the adjacent pizza area being equally empty), I stood waiting for nearly two minutes without acknowledgment. The two team members at the pizza counter were casually chatting and joking as I stood there in plain sight. Three people were in the bakery section. :Crickets: Not good. When I finally asked for help, one of them simply pointed toward the pre-packaged cake slices. Fine. But when I mentioned that the cake I wanted wasn't available in slices and asked if one could be prepared, I was told that it was "impossible." That response, and the dismissive tone that came with it, when multiple of the cakes were available, was surprising and disappointing. This kind of service is not aligned with Whole Foods' brand promise to meet or exceed customer expectations. I hope this feedback helps prompt some coaching or retraining because this experience fell well short of what the brand stands for.
