Please beware.... A female named diamond was extremely unprofessional and very rude. On the phone for 20 plus minutes while a different employee couldn't figure out how to take orders on the system. I waited patiently even smiling at diamond while she was sitting in a booth on the phone, I thought she was a guest. The female trying to take orders called out for Diamond to help and as she ignored. It wasn't until diamond finally got up to help her that I realized she was an employee. I quietly waited for about 30 minutes and watched this lady call out for Diamond 6 or seven times, most of which she ignored. My wife finally asked her if she was on a business call and even the other employee spoke out and said " I don't care, help me". I didn't want to eat there at this point and said I will complain about this and she boasted "I don't care, make a complaint". We drove a long way to try Grown for lunch. So disappointed. I will never recommend Grown and will spread the word as much as possible about the unacceptable treatment. read more

I had never been there and was looking forward to trying it. The food was very good even though it was a bit expensive, but the service wasn't. The person at the cash register had no customer service. Getting her to answer any simple question seemed to annoy her even though I was the only person in the restaurant. I had to get up twice from the table to get silverware and a glass of water. And still, I was the only person there. She didn't really encourage any interest I may have had to return. She was more interested in chatting with the other employee there. read more

What happened to this place? So sad. I remember thinking how I wanted to keep coming here (over a year ago) since the food was good and felt fresh. Well today I was not so lucky I could not complete my meal entirely because I started to feel nauseas and had stomach cramps. Instead of feeling entirely sad for what has happened to this place, I am mad because I have been throwing up and going to the bathroom. The only reason I gave 2 stars is bc I have always loved the open feel of the place. read more

Terrific Music, Excellent Service, Delightful Decoration because they had Orchids everywhere... I loved it so much. On top of that the prominent colors were white and blue, so I felt in Greece. Yes I know I'm a hopeless romantic but this place is very cute or Cuchi!! I ordered a chicken tortilla soup and it was so good, delicious and Hoooot. Great flavor and with different spices, so tasty. My son had a Havana Sandwich, totally yummy. It was made with French baguette bread, with free range rotisserie chicken, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and so much more fresh ingredients. A large sandwich and It was so good that George didn't say a word while he was eating and this doesn't happen that often. They have infused orange and watermelon water for all the guest as well as complimentary wifi. Thank you so much for a healthy and well done lunch!!

First time ever I walked in this place. Recommendation os don't waste your time. Went with my niece. Ordered 2 southwest egg white omelettes. First no black bean and corn salsa, then not enough egg white to make two orders. They couldn't crack an egg cause she said they were previously cracked and could separate egg white. How healthy can that be? Then changed to one order of avocado toast. No avocado. Left to Starbucks to get egg white bites. Big changes need to happen here. Can't believe they are even in business. Won't be going back. read more

I had been waiting a very long time to try this restaurant. I finally got that chance today. Around Miami, there are few restaurants that offer totally organic meals, so I was thrilled when I arrived there for lunch today. I ordered the rotisserie chicken, with Mexican corn and steamed broccoli. With my excitement to try an additional side, I ordered roasted potatoes and the avocado toast. My daughter ordered a wrap with shrimp and chicken tenders with rice and beans for my 6 year old grandaughter. What a disappointment, I should have read the reviews before I went. Healthy choices, but their proteins lacked flavor, and their shrimp was rubber. The chicken tenders and my rotisserie chicken were both dry. However, the Mexican corn and broccoli were very good. The potatoes had a great flavor, but they were gritty, like they were not washed. The beans were ok, but oregano seemed to be the primary ingredient. The avocado toast was just OK. It is smashed avocado (not seasoned at all) spread over bread. Nothing special, just OK. The presentation looked appetizing though... I don't write many reviews because I cook a whole lot at home. After I spent almost $80 in food, I had to take the time to write this review. So not worth the money! Sorry. read more

I heard about Grown in a WLRN segment about a year ago. The concept is neat and very human-concious. In paper, it's a real alternative to any franchise fast food joint. It's organic, healthy, and nutritious meals. The place is beautiful from the outside. A convenient spot on US1. As much as I want to love it I cant justify paying ~ $20 for a soggy skimpy chicken wrap. (Be it free-range or whatever) The ONLY reason I would go back is to order my toddler a kids meal. It's $7.00 and it comes with a juice box. Now that makes more sense. (See image) Window service wasn't exactly speedy. It was about 25 minutes from the time we ordered at the intercom, until they delivered the food through the window. Not crazy slow but if in a hurry, I'd order to-go prior to arriving. read more

As a supporter of local businesses (albeit owned by a mega millionaire) I really wanted to give Grown a chance after reading reviews and unfortunately all reviews seem to be on point. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the staff was super friendly. My friend and I ordered the Capri wrap with Chicken and a Chicken Tortilla soup. Once they dropped off the wrap, we knew it was going to be bad when the oil was seeping through the wrapper and onto the table. I can honestly say this was one of the most disgusting wraps I have ever eaten in my life. It was so drenched in oil, that I had to use a napkin to hold the sandwich together before it fell apart and I gave up. I was so hungry after my workout that I just forced myself to eat one half of the wrap that was basically inedible. The other half went straight in the garbage. The soup wasn't the best. It was also so oily that left a slimy film on my lips. I ate it anyways 1. because I was freezing and 2. I would die of hunger. I think what upset me the most is that this meal cost $21.00. Absolutely ridiculous price. Next time I will go to Whole Foods and get the same exact thing for a lot less! I definitely will never go back to this establishment. Sorry Ray and Shannon. I really wanted to support your business but you really miss the mark on this one. read more

As a avid supporter of local spots , and I have been here quite a few times so ranging from Fall of 2016 to present . The food has gone down dramatically in quality , I usually get the Salmon , and it has gotten so greasy whilst Salmon is already high in Omegas etc ....they cook it in even more oil that soaks the paper container even to the point it tastes rancid. the service is SLOOOOW . why? I am running out of work , it's late at night and I want to grab some food and Go . I have waited for to-go an average of 30-45 minutes with hardly anyone ahead of me . Including while doing drive through -- they make me drive up front (which no big deal ) but I wait an additional 25-35 minutes on several occassions. To the point , the. cashier who took the order even questioned why it was taking so long ! Killing my time to actually eat Carbs at night to a disaster . the food is not consistent and neither is the service . They used to make yummy desserts and nothing . Oh and the special of the day is ALWAYS Salmon Burger ...ALWAYS! for the last 6 months. update: I tried the Ahi Tuna ...BEWARE! if you're from Florida or ever had AHI TUNA , you'd know that it's usually seared. This tuna was crunchy and blackened with a freezer flavor. And not edible . we threw it away . Don't bother. My advice ? Change up your menu . Organic is one thing but it doesn't have to be oily and greasy to be liked. Healthy food misconception is not always bland. Management needs to step in because it's a reflection of management . And let me stress that there can always be specials not just Frozen Salmon burgers. the organic world is just as vast as the conventional world . It can taste good and be healthy at the same time . I won't be back . I have been burned by Grown too many times up the point that I am feeling miserable tonight . read more

This is a much needed fast food place in Miami. The decor is spectacular. The décor hugs you with warmth and a homey vibe. The center of the restaurant has basil, rosemary, cilantro, etc. It's so nice how they grow their own herbs. I was standing in line and I was greeted by a friendly young man that took my order and recommended a beef brisket, the corn, and the russet potatoes. I am very happy with my choice. The beef brisket was soft and flavorful and paired well with the chimi churri sauce I choose. I also ordered the BBQ sauce and was not really fond of it. The roasted potatoes were the perfect texture, marinated with fresh herbs to perfection. The corn was buttery, sweet, and perfectly salty. I thoroughly enjoyed my dish and the speed in which I received it. I love the concept of this restaurant. Its local, organic, non-GMO, good quality food. Its fairly expensive for a fast food joint but its worth it knowing that you are putting quality ingredients into your body. This place is also kid friendly. They have a little kid station with three computers to entertain the kiddos while you chow down. Parking is a breeze as this is located in the corner of a large shopping center. In addition, if you are really in a hurry, they have a convenient drive thru. Perfect for the work rush lunch hour. I'm so happy my friend recommend me to this location. I will definitely be coming back. read more

What a disappointment. We got two chicken wraps and paid an insane $17 each. The wraps were made with good ingredients, but were soggy, tiny, and bland. The chicken tortilla soup was very good, but the potato soup (soup of the day) tasted like cream and desperately needed seasoning. I do enjoy the interior of the restaurant, although there was not enough seating. We felt like we won the jackpot when we found a place to sit because there were so many people walking around with food in their hands with no place to eat. In short, I will never be back. If these wraps were $7 I would never be back. I got about 3 ounces of actual chicken and half a handful of anything else. I don't care if you raised each chicken in your back yard, allowed them to swim in your luxury swimming pool, and hand fed them grains from the garden of Eden - the food was an overall disappointment. I'll post a picture of my pathetic wrap so you too can be offended at what they're charging here read more

At first glance, I saw a line out the door and I immediately contemplated leaving as I didn't have time to wait in line... But the line actually starts close to the door so it wasn't as long as I thought and it actually moved very quick. I also had my food within 30 seconds from ordering. There is good and bad to that... Good, it really is "fast" food! Bad, it is already made and is like Boston Market style. I ordered the brisket with a side of the green beans and sweet potato mash. The brisket and green beans were very bland in flavor. Green beans were also a little tough. My friend ordered the wild caught salmon, Brussel sprouts and sweet potato mash. We both thought the sweet potato mash was good but my friend thought the brussel sprouts were tough and the salmon was a bit salty and over seasoned. Seating capacity was full due to being 12:30 p.m lunch rush. So we were happy to find a seat at the children's table where they have iPads on the wall with pre-installed kids learning apps and games. Cool idea! As a parent I was curious to see what else these iPads could do... Surf the web? Yes! Search for things kids should not have access to? Yes! Yikes!! No parent controls on these iPads. I thought about a site I wouldn't want my kid to go to and typed it in... I was able to go to playboy.com no problem! Now, I do think parents should be supervising their kids, but I also think that if they're providing iPads for kids they should set proper controls. Price was expensive for the portions. I am all for paying more for quality food but the fact that the food is pre-made and sitting in warmers took that quality down a notch. Since they are new and probably still ironing out some kinks, I will probably give it another try. I like the concept of healthy, fast food and commend them on offering responsibly sourced food as well. I personally couldn't eat here every day as my meal was $22 for just my lunch and an iced tea. read more

I'm on the fence about this place: Pros: The food tastes great Healthy options Friendly service Free sparklingly Vero water (I'm a sucker for this stuff) You can see/ talk basketball with the owner Ray Allen who is there often Cons: The drive thru and to go orders take forever so it's not really "fast food" It's a semi open building in south Florida so it's extremely hot and humid inside With that always comes bugs swarming around Things are a bit pricey for portion size But judge for yourself, I'll still go back because it's right by my house read more

We went here to see what all the hub hub was about. Turned out to be a lot of hype. The concept is neat, but the execution is poor. Bottom line: Pricey food and not enough of it. Small portions. Waiting in line and then waiting for food. Nothing special about the dishes either. I had beef brisket and a couple of sides for $17 in a small cardboard tray. Nicole had a chicken salad also $15. The food was ok but not for the price. The decor is cool, and the hydration station too. I've been to Grown numerous times, almost always taking advantage of their quick and friendly drive-thru window service. I am a huge fan of real food and Grown's core concept & values align with my own. Yes, it is pricier than other area restaurants, but I personally do no mind paying a little extra for fresh organic, non-gmo food. Today I once again ordered take-out for my family - the salmon and rotisserie chicken were very good. The gluten free pesto pasta salad and roasted cauliflower were delicious, and my son loved the sautéed broccoli with garlic. Now here's my only complaint for now - after paying the $33 bill today, I asked the cashier if I could get a large cup of water to-go for my thirsty kid, as opposed to a little plastic cup. She said they couldn't do that.... I'd be interested to know the rationale for such an odd / stingy policy. You haven't lost me, Grown - I still appreciate you! read more

The food in this much-needed eatery in Pinecrest, strategically located near Trader Joe's, is tasty albeit on the small portion side. The menu offers just the right mix of proteins, sides and juices/smoothies. The downside is that it is a small place. I don't mind standing in line to order food but I stood in line outside. This is probably better than standing in line next to the diners. Next up is what everyone grumbles about the price--two lunch portions, a pressed juice and soup will set you back $49.22. It isn't the Allens fault. Sadly, it is the state of farming and the American dietary preference for processed foods over fresh, organic vegetables. There isn't enough demand from the public for healthier choices (locally sourced, organic) so processed foods & farmed fish is more affordable at grocery stores. Kudos for supporting local artisans & farmers to businesses like Grown! read more

Ugh, how I wish I could give this place 5 stars. The food was amazing, the aesthetics of the restaurant were on point, and the place just makes you feel like home. But the price.. The price. We ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Wrap with the soup of the day, which was a decent size, and tasted great, but for 18 bucks was overpriced. We also ordered the personal portion brisket plate with Brussels sprouts and quinoa, which was also overpriced at 18 bucks. We had to order an extra side of chicken, which was much more reasonable at a price of 6$. Don't get me wrong. This place is DEFINITELY great for healthy, organic, great tasting food. The people working there are also extremely friendly and helpful. If the prices were just a BIT lower this restaurant would easily be 5 stars. read more

I saw the article about this restaurant and was very excited to try it out. As soon as we walked in , the desk employees guided us through the menu. She noticed it was our first time and I'm sure we seemed pretty lost because the set up of the restaurant is complicated to find things like the menu, straws, napkins ect. Everything looks cluttered and not organized. We ordered 2 entrees The chicken & The salmon The food was extremely flavorful and cooked to perfection. Drinks Latte- the coffee tasted burnt. Meaning the machine is not cleaned or not calibrated properly. It was more a coffee with milk than a real latte. She added sugar to my coffee which I didn't ask for. The jalapeño drink- it was pretty good and spicy. Loved it. The right side bathroom smelled dirty. There's an indoor plant (spices) station and the plants are dried out. They should water them or take them out. They have an outdoor seating patio style and it's very nice. And a little kids play area with iPad. Great idea to distract the little ones. I just think is a little over priced $50 for lunch entrees with juice and coffee. I wouldn't drive all the way from Brickell to eat here. The gentleman was very sweet and thoughtful. However, I don't know how they are still open... mediocrity all around. The bacon was literally regular bacon from the grocery store.... I think they microwaved it. I didn't get my avocado toast because the cashier forgot to ring it up but I took it as a blessing that I saved my money on an overpriced underwhelming additional item. My coffee was decent but nothing to write home about.... Trying to be positive. But the free coffee from fresh market was superior. My husband who has been eyeing this place since COVID.... This place has definitely exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a full organic no BS location to eat something nutritious and delicious you've definitely introduced yourself to the right place. This is my first experience here and definitely won't be the last. I was into ordering a salad. The Havana was suggested, which is their most popular Latin style salad (they have it in sandwich as well), I went for the Mediterranean style salad with grilled salmon. The price was equivalent to Cheese Cake factory pricing, but the difference in freshness is far beyond an experiment I had at cheese cake. The server/cashier advised me of the items on the menu, another staff member brought me the food immediately (I mean with 7 min of ordering) salmon perfectly grilled and moist. Quinoa was perfectly cooked and seasoned, humus was not runny and the flavor was on point. The spring mix, organic and so crisp, olives, feta cheese and cherry tomatoes so fresh. Amazing display of colors. Couldn't stop eating this salad so I had to write this review. Great spot and needs more frequent visits by me and anyone who can enjoy an nice organic nutritious meal.
