Flanigan's is one of those. Great 420 celebration this year. Had all the usual suspects. Wings, nachos, grilled fish, cold beer, mozzarella sticks, the whole lineup. Yeah, maybe both Flanigan's and me are getting a little long in the tooth, but man, it still hits the same. Good old Flanigan's. You walk in and it's familiar. No nonsense. visited Flanagins Pincrest after being a loyal patron for 30plus years. I walked in handed the waitress, bartender a 20.00 before ordering my take out meal at the bar. I ordered a soda water, twist , she asked if I wanted Perrier, I said no soda water from tap. ( the seltzer used to make coke) I ordered a Dolphin Francaise to take home. Asked for a 2nd Baked Potato so my wife and I can split meal. I always tip generously up front to get the best service. Service below average , she charged for 3.99 for tap water and for the 2nd Potato. Needless to say this will be the last time I visit any Flanagins. read more

The salad was ok but the nachos were gross. The entire thing looked like it had been sitting there for a really long time. The beef on the nachos tasted like it came out of a can. Flanigan's is truly such a classic. You know what to expect and you will never be disappointed. The vibrant energy of this place is palpable even from the moment you park as it tends to be crowded with people waiting to get in. I always take advantage of the extra hack thanks to Yelp of getting a spot on the waitlist before even heading out, since the wait time tends to be very long and I live a very short drive away. This is a life-saver truly, and the live updates always make it so that by the time I arrive my table is ready to go! You can't go wrong with the classics, with an emphasis on the burger or wings. I am weak for their steamed vegetables for some reason and could go in just to get that. Everytime I go I marvel at how they managed to always be so booked and busy and still bring out dependable deliciously hot plates without making you wait too long. If you're a local, I know this is one of your favorites, and if you happen to be visiting the city you must stop by to have a truly well-rounded real Miami experience. read more

Flanigan's has always been a great place to meet friends for lunch. The booths are very comfortable and it is never too loud so it is easy to have conversations. The lighting is comfortable. The walls have mounted fish, fishing pictures and everything nautical that gives you a Florida feeling. They offer lunch specials at a great prices, and they offer daily specials. Beers are always served cold and in a cold glass. Often this place is busy and you may have to wait to be seated, but as soon as they seat you a waiter will be at your table right away to take your drink order and to go over any specials they may have. This strip malls parking lot can get very crowded, but there are many parking spaces available and often you may have to park and walk. I have never been disappointed at any of these Flanigan's locations. Always a great experience and a great place to come with friends or family. read more

I don't know if it's a Flanigan's thing where everyone has their favorite or if it's a Pinecrest Flanigan's thing, but this location just hits different. If you asked me what my favorite restaurant is, I would say this specific Flanigan's. From familiar faces greeting you and taking care of you once you've sat down, to just the overall vibe, this place puts me in an instantly good mood. My son loves to play in the arcade and then pool tables they have. It's a great distraction from longer than average wait times. When we're not playing and waiting to be seated, there's plenty of seating and we're always able to grab a beer for the wait. Food wise, everything is always good and fresh from the rib rolls to the chicken sticker dinner to my son's skater burger that is better than most burgers anywhere else! Our servers are ALWAYS incredible, super attentive, and add to our good time. Recently, my husband and I actually chose THIS Flanigan's to do an intimate gender reveal where we handed our gender to our server and had him bring a drink with the color of our reveal. Our server shared that he was actually planning a gender reveal for his sibling and was happy to share this moment with us and it made our reveal all the more special. After posting our reveal, everyone said it was just our style to do it at Flanigan's. Should have known soon as we walked up. The windows and door look the same so for someone who has never been there we had no clue where to walk in.. We get inside and the hostess tries to sit 3 people on a 2 people table‍.. We order our drinks and they taste like they were watered down with very little flavor. The food did come out pretty fast but was not at good. I would say out of anything that I ate, the croutons on the salads were the best thing we ate. My husband did eat his food (he eats just about anything) but my son and I left most of our food on the table. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any Flanigan's. My friends and I came in to celebrate a birthday, and what should have been a fun night turned into a frustrating and embarrassing situation. Both my friend and I are 22 years old and presented valid out-of-state IDs, yet they were taken from us and we were denied service simply because they weren't from Florida. The bar manager was extremely rude and dismissive. We tried to calmly explain that we are of legal age, but he was not receptive at all and made no effort to actually listen or resolve the situation. It felt like we were being treated unfairly for no reason. To make things worse, this all happened during my friend's birthday celebration. On top of that, our order was wrong, and instead of doing anything meaningful for the birthday, they gave my friend a pup cup as a "birthday treat," which honestly felt like a joke. I will say our servers themselves were kind and did their best, but that doesn't make up for how poorly this situation was handled overall. If you're a University of Miami student or anyone with an out-of-state ID, I would strongly recommend avoiding this location. Their system for handling out-of-state IDs is clearly flawed, and management does not seem to care about making reasonable accommodations or even treating customers with basic respect. Overall, incredibly disappointing and not somewhere I would return. read more

A Flanigan's customer who calmly reports a legitimate issue should be treated with respect, empathy, and professionalism, NOT hostility and skepticism. My intention in writing this review is to bring the incident to attention in hopes that no other loyal customer experiences similar treatment. I sincerely hope this matter is addressed, as I know Ruji the "manager" does not reflect the reputation Flanigans has earned over the years. Today at the Pinecrest Flanigan's: I would first like to recognize our server, Julian, who provided excellent service. He was attentive, courteous, and handled our concern professionally. Unfortunately, the interaction that followed with the "manager" Ruji, completely overshadowed his outstanding service. We ordered the brownie dessert and requested that it be served hot. When it arrived, it was not warm and, more importantly, it tasted spoiled. After taking only a small bite, I informed Julian that we could not eat it. He immediately notified the manager. From the moment the "manager" Ruji approached our table, her demeanor was negative and confrontational. Rather than listening to our concern, she made us feel as though she believed we were being dishonest about the dessert. She stated that she could not remove it from the bill, despite the fact that the dessert was essentially untouched because it tasted bad. After an uncomfortable back-and-forth discussion, she returned with a revised receipt showing a "discount" for "wasted food," removing the $9.99 charge but leaving the tax. By that point, because of her attitude and the way we had been treated, I chose not to continue the discussion. I asked to speak with the General Manager and was told that the General Manager was unavailable. We have been loyal Flanigan's customers for decades, and this is the first negative experience I have ever had. In fact, historically I usually take to compliment excellent service, rather than expressing disappointment.
