I placed an order at 720ish this morning so I could get energized before our big moving day. I placed the order and then left my house and it was ready on the pickup shelf when I arrived. I ordered 2 smoothies and one was a breakfast combo and paid $20. The smoothies are huge and the wrap was a very good size as well! I am very impressed with the prices. I got the Avocolada and Peanut butter cup smoothies and the Pb banana crunch wrap. I love the avocolada and the wrap!! Such great flavor and the wrap has granola which is such a nice crunch added to the pb and banana. The pb cup smoothie is good but I'm not sure if it was just made incorrectly but it basically tasted like chocolate and banana, no pb. Hoping it was a one time thing but I will definitely be back! A lot of people got turned away and many will boycott this particular one. Stopped here for my daughter. Once I entered I waited 5 mins before my order was taken. The cashier wasn't friendly at all...Just blah service. However, I received a 24 oz paradise point smoothie for $.99 so that made up for the service. The smoothie was great ( I had to sample it of course). But this store is amongst other eateries and speciality stores. There is also a mall within walking distance. Enjoy! !! read more

Thought that it was kale in my smoothie that I was chewing but pulled a piece out of my mouth to discover that it was plastic blended up in my smoothie. I had drank over half of the smoothie before realizing it. Called the store to have associate tell me she would have the manager call me. Went to store a week later because no one called me. Spoke with manager and owner who told me it wasn't possible? Showed them the smoothie and strained the plastic out of the rest of the smoothie in front of them. Told me they would review footage and get back to me. A week goes by... no response. Call corporate and tell them what happened. Told it would be escalated immediately, surprise no response. I visited this location yesterday and my mouth was watering for the acai smoothie and a totally turkey wrap. After I got my wrap, i took the biggest piece ever then I happened to look down and there was a strand of hair in my wrap. This is not my texture hair but the texture of the cashier who made my meal. the smoothies are great, however the customer service could be better. if they're short staffed, not a problem but you don't tell people "we're not taking anymore orders until we catch up." letting a handful of costumers leave losing money for their company and then tell them it'll be 25 minute wait or to order online while people are in line and they weren't that behind. they just need better training and working under pressure. read more

Went in after a workout to get one of limited time rice bowls. I have to say I hope they keep these or something of the sort on the menu permanently. It was awesome. I got the Mediterranean bowl. It's very filling as it has quinoa, brown rice, spinach, chicken, and veggies in it. The best part is the meal is under 400 calories to its a healthy choice option. Service was good. Normally I have no issues when going to Tropical Smoothie but today was terrible. I stopped at this location to grab a bite before going to the movies early Sunday afternoon. There was a line that wasn't moving at all but when i finally got to the cashier I can see why the wait was so long. The cashier had a hard time entering orders properly and kept calling her colleagues from the back to assist. I'm not sure if she was new or not but i don't think she was ready to work the frontline. I ordered the Caribbean jerk chicken bowl and a cup of water. After I placed my order I sat and waited. Orders from the customers before me were coming out but their's were all wrong. Like order after order. I don't know what was going on. My order came out and it clearly wasn't my bowl because there wasnt even a bowl in the bag! They gave me someone's wrap. I returned it and waited again then it finally came. My food was good but I'm not sure about the team here this day. I think a little more training is needed. read more

The owner is very sweet and always greets with a smile. I've noticed most of her customers are just nasty, grumpy, unpleasant people to deal with and who love to complain about everything. I feel bad for her to have to deal with some of her customers. Yelling and screaming like a bunch of wild animals instead of calmly explaining their issues. We waited 40 minutes in line only for my wife, 3 year old daughter and I were all turned down because the Manager stated all 3 of us had sandals and not flip flops. He even had the nerve to ask if I wanted to make a donation after insulting our intelligence. This TS didn't seem too thrill with this promotion/event. Maybe they should have just close shop and stop wasting everyone's time. They could have least made sure the place was clean. This place was a pig hole. Don't waste your time. Tropical smoothie us already only average at best but the employees and owner of this particular location make it even worse. Every time myself or my co-workers enter the establishment we are always "greeted" with an attitude accompanied with terrible service. The first time I came in, I was told rudely by the cashier that I was "weird" because I informed her I do not drink smoothies. When my coworker went in a few weeks ago she asked for no bacon on her sandwich and they asked her why she didn't want bacon. She told them she just didn't want it, and they proceeded to ask her if it was for religious reasons- TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR AND NOT THEIR BUSINESS. Finally, a third coworker of mine went their to get a kids sized smoothie and was told that she wasn't a kid and therefore could not get it, even though she does at all other locations. This place clearly doesn't care how their business is run, nor do they know how to treat their customers. I know I will not be back, and I'll be sure to tell others not to go either. read more

I love tropical smoothie and their calorie friendly smoothies, but this location in particular was the worst one I've visited. I ordered an island green smoothie w/ Splenda only to receive a water down flavorless drink. I couldn't even taste the banana in it. Instead of making me a fresh one adds more ice and Splenda. Terrible! There's always a new young person at the counter being trained. The product served does not resemble what is offered on the menu. I ordered the Cali Chicken Club it was drowning in dressing, there was no avocado, and a sprinkle of lettuce. I had to ask the cashier if I received the right sandwich. I did and had them remake it. They put the dressing on the side. There were a few small pieces of chicken, one strip of bacon, 2 half slices of bacon and again a sprinkling of lettuce. We will not be back! I like all of the vegan options that Tropical Smoothie Cafe offers; however, if I'm going to pay nearly $30 for fast casual dining, then at the very least, I expect my order to be correct. Ordered three wraps and a smoothie today and the only thing that came out right was the smoothie. Tomatoes on my son's wrap after we specified no tomatoes twice, and my mom and I received bone-dry wraps which immediately fell apart because they forgot to add the dressing/sauce. Second time at this particular location and there were issues both times. Not sure if I'm willing to give it another chance to see if the third time would indeed be a charm. The staff is composed primarily of young, high school aged kids who could benefit from some added customer service training. If I just walked into your store and I'm standing at the counter, yes, I'm waiting to place or pick-up an order. read more
