Hot temperature wise and just enough spice to be real cajun food. The potato was hot and fluffy and was gigantic. It was cooked all the way and soft, not like a lot of restaurants serve! The flavor of the po boy was delicious and fresh. The roll tasted fresh baked. Thank you, Rouge Rabbi, we hope to return If you have the chance, try it, you won't be sorry. The seating is cute, they have online ordering, and the prices are reasonable, $15-$20 per person.

I've driven down Essen multiple times but never knew about this place. It's a nice quaint, very much South Louisiana spot that serves breakfast and lunch. The staff were very kind and friendly. Now I didn't get a breakfast burrito this time, instead I got a breakfast bowl which was soooo good!
