I ordered a Peanut Power smoothie. It was consistent good. However, the service was not the best at this location. The guy who took my order in the drive-thru was not exactly the nicest. Maybe he was having a bad day, idk. He asked what flavor, and I repeated Peanut. He asked me again. I told him again. Then he asked, "So you want the original flavor?" I said yes, as I didn't realize there were other flavors when the title was "Peanut Power. " I was asked to drive around and given no total. When I got to the window there was a girl there. She handed me a small cup and said a different type of smoothie. When I told her that it's what I ordered, she was a bit confused and looked at the guy walking behind her with the headset on. Apparently, he had not rung my order up. It was for the car behind me. She asked me what I ordered, took my payment, and closed the window. She then gave me my smoothie and was not pleasant. No "thank you," not even a "here you go." I don't know if this is a bad location to work for or if those two employees have a bad work dynamic. This location is found on busy Siegen Lane and shares space with a Chase Bank--as such be careful with the drive thru line or you may end up backing up or attempting to order from a bank teller. This location is clean and neat and the 3-4 times I have been there, the person taking my order has been polite and knowledgeable while always asking if I want to add something (a shot or extra) to the smoothie I have ordered. This doesn't make any sense as to why you close at 10 pm but actually 9:40 I have never heard of this and believe it to be a lie the employee told to get out of work early. We walked over from our hotel pretty late after driving all day. Their lobby was all cleaned up and mopped but they let us in anyway, even though they were only taking drive through customers at that time. Smoothies were awesome, man, the fruit flavors were strong. Kids all got strawberry banana and they were basically gone before we made the walk back to the hotel. I go to this Smoothie King at least 3 times a week. The staff is always very nice and quick to get you your smoothie. My smoothie is very basic and costs about $6, but a little tip they have a dollar off coupon to do their survey at the bottom of every receipt and well I just keep getting $1 off.Also, they have $5 Fridays, which is not for every smoothie but for most. I tried the local favorite: Peach Slice Plus-- Peaches, Strawberries, Papaya Juice Blend, Non-Fat Milk, Turbinado, Soy Protein. A size medium, with added yogurt cost well over 7 dollars. In this economy, ehhh this is not acceptable for my wallet. Needless to say, my consistency was good, I like fresh, thick smoothies, however, I would have like to have many of my questions answered and the person taking my order was not prepared or did not feel like answering them. If my Ninja and I don't work out well, I am sure I will give this franchise another chance this summer. Visited here a few times and my smoothie is never consistent. 3 out of the 4 times it tasted like a bland icee. One other thing I noticed the "$5 Friday" is not what they promote. They charge $6 for a "premium" smoothie. I started coming here because it was on my way to work. I will gladly travel out of my way back to Bluebonnet to get my monies worth. This owner has more than one has more than one store so the $6 premium is a joke, it's called greedy. How come when I visit any other smoothie king it shows the points right away? But I do what they say and wait for nothing to happen. This is obnoxious! On top of this they're very rude as if they don't want to service you in the first place. At this point three times in a row tells me not to return. I am missing still missing points from previous receipts you will have to manually enter and wait for a response on the app! They expect you to keep track of the receipts days after a smoothie king purchase is made. What's the point in even using this app at that point?? I guess I'll have to keep a zipblock full of smoothie king receipts from now on just to insure I receive every point I "EARNED"! I stopped by about a week ago and ordered a Strawberry Gladiator, after waiting at the drive-thru window for over 10 minutes and getting no response or service. I parked and went inside to find a dirty and unkept store with workers that did not seem interested in helping me.
