OK I was honestly shocked with this experience. It's a full bar with the most customizable wing experience one could ever have. They have vegan and vegetarian options for wings as well. I love that they are a full bar. It's very dive bar so do not come here thinking it's going to be a super clean wing place. The service was incredible but the food was even better! I will be a regular here !!! TIP: ALWAYS TRY THE SAUCE OF THE MONTH!

This is the only restaurant I have been that chicken wings are not seasoned. I don't see and taste the pepper and salt at all. Also, when I asked for different flavors they said they will have to mix all of them, that's horrible. I wanted to get 6 wings with teriyaki garlic parmesan and another set of wing with buffalo parmesan, they can't do separate flavor they will have to mix the flavors. So we end up getting just wing with sauce on the side. Still the sauce doesn't taste good. I like the trolly chips. Costumer service is bad.

I came in with a friend from work to shoot pool and have drinks along with delicious wings( hopefully )I couldn't have had a better experience.Elise was our server and couldn't have been more welcoming/professional/ and on top of things in which I really appreciated and lead to our Saturday night being great. Toni was great as well and made us feel happy to be here.I think we found our new spot. Thanks again !

I will say I am not a wing enthusiast. My husband is. I don't like using my fingers to eat, for the most part. If it's going to require a wet wipe at the end, I'll probably pass. But we wanted to try something different and finally made it over to Trolley. Our server was nice enough and did a decent job. The inside was cool--really open plan and cool structure and design. It's a sports bar, so it's somewhat noisy. Of the food, my favorite were the Trolley Chips. I liked the mac and cheese bites too. I got boneless wings - honey barbecue. For me they were just OK. I didn't love the texture of the boneless chicken, and didn't love the flavor combo I chose. FYI: you can create any combination of flavors, but you can only pick one flavor per basket of wings; you can't do half and half or anything. My husband got the regular wings and asked for them crispy. He wished he hadn't since some ends were too charred for his taste. But he like his wings well enough. His one disappointment was that they didn't have root beer. It's his favorite. Overall, I thought this place was decent; I'd lean toward 3.5 stars instead of 4. I'm not sure I'm in a hurry to go back.

Awesome service and wings! So.Many.Sauces! Bloody Mary was also perfection. Easy to get to. Great selection of apps and cocktails as well. And flatbreads!

OMG - I love this place! I see some bad reviews, but I have never had a bad experience here, I have eaten here probably 20-30 times. Their waffle fries are absolutely !!! Both flavors are great, but the parm fries with the spicy habanero ranch is GREAT!!! I always get the bone in wings. I get the Buffalo parm, medium heat. They are really good sized wings and they are delicious. I brought my wife her for my birthday and she loved it as well. They will check your ID at the door, so make sure you have it and it is current, or you are not getting in!

I like to get takeout from Trolley once in a while to satiate the late night wing craving. It's one of the few places that is actually open late (1AM!! very crazy for Utah) and offers vegan wing options. They have both baked seitan and one made of mushroom. I've had both, and I like the seitan better because it is more crunchy in the outside and still moist on the inside, whereas the mushroom replacement is a bit too soft for my taste. There have been a few times however, where the seitan is over baked or something, because it becomes very chewy and hard on the outside. The vegan ranch is also good compared to others I've had, where it's too runny. I usually get the Carolina sauce, but this time I added the garlic sauce as well and it's my new favorite combo. I've been in the restaurant only once, but it was chill. It's a sports bar. It's clean. The waitress was nice. So overall, good experience. My only qualm is the price-- these are definitely pricier wings.

My amazing half hot half cold wings. May I add they were not the flavor I ordered.

This place used to be great. I'm from out of town and usually make a stop for their wings. I was here in March and had a bad experience but brushed it off.. thought it was just a bad night cause we were there super late. Here I am back again for a business trip and once again a let down. Wings were room temperature at best and over cooked. Some of which were cold. Part of our order was missing and they claimed it was "pushed off" the ticket some how. Sorry will probably not be coming back. Oh let's add that a off the clock worker was there trying to "eat" but had a hissy fit and made a scene with one of the cooks in the back that made the ambiance a little awkward. Maybe that's why my order was not good.. what was great about this experience was that the check came pretty quick cause we were itching to find another spot to eat.

Came here for a quick lunch and a beer, but it took over an hour to get our food. When the food finally came out, my order was wrong. To be fair.....it's New Years Eve. But it's the afternoon and there's no one here. At least you can pay to play pool. If I were the manager, I would've at least given us a free game of pool or a free beer after all that waiting and getting the wrong food. We also had to go on a scavenger hunt to find our own napkins and boxes. But hey, tomorrows a new year! I'm not that picky or that mad. Def won't come back tho.

The wings here are some of the best in Salt Lake! They have several different flavors to choose from. This is 21yrs old or over. The service was very prompt. It is like a bar type atmosphere. I will definitely go back!

Service was slow but waitress was friendly and did get my beverage and food out. I waited awhile after I finished my beer to get my check. I also saw a pitcher of green beer go to another table so you know its that time of the year. The place doesn't have mushrooms so my quesadilla was stuffed with green peppers and onions. I prefer mushrooms but seems a lot of places don't carry mushroom anymore. Overall, an underwhelming experience. I wouldn't go out of the way to come here but if back in town and staying at same hotel, I might come back. Prices are pretty cheap, so can't complain that much.

I knew from the parking lot this place was a winner. Once inside, it had a welcoming atmosphere and people inside were all having a good time. This brewery features Lager Beers crafted using traditional Bavarian/European methods...thus I had to try one...two...maybe more. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). It had a fresh taste to it and even a little lemon-y, which didn't make the fried cutlet taste too rich. It came with mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies. The veggies were your basic steamed veggies, but the dish was overall good. Service was great-server was attentive and the manager came around as well to check on us. Our server was funny, personable, and attentive, especially when it came to drinks and refills. Things started going downhill when I received my entree, the Poor Man's Truffle. Unfortunately, the only way this dish lived up to its name was in how little the supposedly high-quality ingredients seemed to come through. The dish itself is fairly simple, which normally isn't a bad thing when the ingredients are meant to speak for themselves. With Belper Knolle, truffle oil, pistachio pesto, tomato, fennel, and arugula, I expected something flavorful and well balanced. Instead, the entire dish tasted incredibly mild. Belper Knolle is typically a bold, salty, peppery cheese, and I could visibly see the black pepper around the edges of the thin shavings, but the flavor barely registered. I also couldn't taste the truffle oil at all. There was visible oil pooling at the bottom of the plate, but no noticeable truffle flavor. I understand pistachio pesto tends to be more subtle than a traditional basil pesto, but altogether, this dish just fell completely flat for me. The presentation didn't help either. It looked more like something that had been scooped from a pan and dropped onto the plate than a thoughtfully plated entree. When a dish misses both on flavor and presentation, that's when it becomes a real disappointment for me. I will say the gnocchi itself was cooked well, which was one of the few positives. I also tried the burger, and it was significantly better than my pasta. However, the very small sprinkle of bacon was a little baffling considering it was an additional upcharge. Where the night really went downhill was at the end of the meal. I had been excited to try the beignets because that isn't a dessert I see on menus very often. Our entree plates were cleared, and then we waited about 20 minutes before our server returned and asked whether we were ready for the check. Dessert wasn't mentioned, and by that point our table was tired of waiting, so we decided to skip it and asked for our checks. Then our server disappeared for another 30 minutes. We eventually had to flag down a hostess who was seating another table and let her know that we were still waiting for the check. About five minutes later, our server finally returned and casually explained how "crazy" the night had gotten because of the show. I understand restaurants get busy, but the apology felt very dismissive after we had waited nearly an hour from finishing our entrees to finally receiving the check. It genuinely felt like our table had simply been forgotten. I also want to add that I tend to hold restaurants like this to a higher standard. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for." If I'm eating at a fast-food spot or somewhere inexpensive and casual, there's only so much room to complain. But when a restaurant has prices like this, highlights premium ingredients on the menu, and presents itself as a more elevated dining experience, I think that naturally opens the food and service up to more criticism. At that price point, I expect the quality, presentation, and overall experience to reflect what I'm paying for. My final takeaway is that maybe I ordered the wrong dish. Pesto is one of my favorite things, so I almost always want to give a pesto-based dish a try. Unfortunately, Prohibition's pesto gnocchi was not it for me. I also saw that they describe themselves as a scratch kitchen using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, which I don't necessarily doubt. What confused me was how so many ingredients that should have distinct flavors somehow tasted like almost nothing. If your goal is interesting drinks and a fun show, this is probably still a place worth considering. Since we sat outside, I can't speak on the show part, but it seems to be a big hit. Food-wise, though, it missed the mark for me.
