Food was decent when they got the order out to us finally. Our waiter I guess had a big table in the other room and literally forgot about us. We watched others sit down after us and then eat and pay before we got our food. When someone else brought out our food half was cold and the other half we had to wait for because they never cooked it so we had to wait. Half the table got done eating while I waited and then when I did finally get my food it was wrong. Was told the kitchen ran out of a sauce so they "winged it" as the waiter said trying to make a poorly received joke. This is the only restaurant I have been that chicken wings are not seasoned. I don't see and taste the pepper and salt at all. Also, when I asked for different flavors they said they will have to mix all of them, that's horrible. I wanted to get 6 wings with teriyaki garlic parmesan and another set of wing with buffalo parmesan, they can't do separate flavor they will have to mix the flavors. And a great craft beer menu - check their Untappd menu for current offerings by bottle or can. Sitting at the bar makes for easy seating and the workers were friendly and welcoming. I will say I am not a wing enthusiast. My husband is. I don't like using my fingers to eat, for the most part. If it's going to require a wet wipe at the end, I'll probably pass. But we wanted to try something different and finally made it over to Trolley. Our server was nice enough and did a decent job. The inside was cool--really open plan and cool structure and design. It's a sports bar, so it's somewhat noisy. Of the food, my favorite were the Trolley Chips. I liked the mac and cheese bites too. I got boneless wings - honey barbecue. For me they were just OK. I didn't love the texture of the boneless chicken, and didn't love the flavor combo I chose. FYI: you can create any combination of flavors, but you can only pick one flavor per basket of wings; you can't do half and half or anything. My husband got the regular wings and asked for them crispy. He wished he hadn't since some ends were too charred for his taste. But he like his wings well enough. His one disappointment was that they didn't have root beer. It's his favorite. Overall, I thought this place was decent; I'd lean toward 3.5 stars instead of 4. Sorry but the taylorsville location doesn't show up on this app so you get the bad review. Disappointing would be an understatement, the wings are just lazily covered in sauce (the sauce was the only good thing here) the nachos come with plain unseasoned chicken and i thought the put carrots in the nachos, turns out they were pepper slices. Who cuts peppers like that? My kid got Mac and cheese, took one bite and said there was something wrong with it, when the waitress (eventually) returned we told her he needed something else to eat and charged us for the bad food and the replacement food, whatever... The buffalo chicken pizza was just as bad, unseasoned chicken on a giant pita bread with not much more than the smell of buffalo sauce because I certainly didn't taste much of anything. We didn't go into the bar half of the building, but it seems that must be where all the effort was put into. Because the "restaurant " half was like when you choose to sit outside at a good restaurant, metal chairs and cheap tables. The windows were gross and you could barely see out of them. Add to that the grey concrete floor, three tvs on the walls and not much else, it has all the ambience of the state prison. The waitress was nice, I do wish she hadn't forgot the drink I ordered and maybe came by our table a little more often seeing as we were her only table. OMG - I love this place! I see some bad reviews, but I have never had a bad experience here, I have eaten here probably 20-30 times. Their waffle fries are absolutely !!! Both flavors are great, but the parm fries with the spicy habanero ranch is GREAT!!! I always get the bone in wings. I get the Buffalo parm, medium heat. They are really good sized wings and they are delicious. I brought my wife her for my birthday and she loved it as well. I like to get takeout from Trolley once in a while to satiate the late night wing craving. It's one of the few places that is actually open late (1AM!! very crazy for Utah) and offers vegan wing options. They have both baked seitan and one made of mushroom. I've had both, and I like the seitan better because it is more crunchy in the outside and still moist on the inside, whereas the mushroom replacement is a bit too soft for my taste. There have been a few times however, where the seitan is over baked or something, because it becomes very chewy and hard on the outside. The vegan ranch is also good compared to others I've had, where it's too runny. I usually get the Carolina sauce, but this time I added the garlic sauce as well and it's my new favorite combo. I've been in the restaurant only once, but it was chill. It's a sports bar. It's clean. The waitress was nice. So overall, good experience. I was here in March and had a bad experience but brushed it off.. thought it was just a bad night cause we were there super late. Here I am back again for a business trip and once again a let down. Wings were room temperature at best and over cooked. Some of which were cold. Part of our order was missing and they claimed it was "pushed off" the ticket some how. Sorry will probably not be coming back. Probably the best wings I have had in the valley, they were so so good, and they just had great flavor overall while the chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. Have been to this location and the SLC location, this one is just usually the one I go to. We have ordered the cajun honey BBQ, cajun Honey, buffalo parm, teriyaki parm, smokey Carolina chili, and just traditional buffalo. The best ones are the traditional buffalo and the cajun honey BBQ. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are a fan of wings that come in a wide variety of flavors!! Also, they have a great selection of local brews and some good cocktails! TWC has gone downhill since ownership shifted. We've been hopeful that time would help them work out the kinks, but unfortunately the food gets worse and worse every time we go. I did not taste the atomic Carolina garlic those were for my husband and he said they were very good. I quite enjoyed the Jamaican honey garlic really great flavour. We also tried the Buffalo parm boneless wings They were Hearty and saucy With a punch of flavour tender and juicy. We also tried Mac and cheese bites they come with a Habanero ranch that is pretty spicy. The Mac and cheese bites were delectable. They have a great texture and a little bit of jalapeno in it for soon bite. I will definitely try these again. We ordered a veggie plate There was a nice selection of fresh vegetables and pickled vegetables with your choice of dressing. I quite enjoyed having this as a selection and there was plenty for the whole family. We like the atmosphere at trolley when company they have a good selection of beers and the food was comforting and delicious. This is a great place to go on a date and possibly watch a jazz game. We tried two different wing flavors mine was Buffalo Parmesan and they were freaking delicious would definitely recommend. So we came to celebrate 2 of our fav people. RIGHT CHOICE. The patio ambience was awesome; they have one of those doors that slides up. So cool. This is one of those places I've heard so much about and never tried. I love that they cater to all ways of eating. We are flexitarian but our son is vegetarian so we really appreciate the variety. We all got vegetarian wings and have zero regret. Everything about this place is a little spicy. We got macaroni and cheese bites as well as husband and I getting their jalapeño poppers. My only complaint is that the poppers were whole jalapeños, filled with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. I wish they were the traditional half jalapeños but the complaint isn't even enough to dock a star. The wings were amazing. Husband and I got extra crispy and the texture is spot on. More delicious than any chicken wing I've ever had. I really appreciate that you can choose your level of spice on any flavor. Although my son got sriracha and said they were too spicy at a mild. He puts on everything so it was a surprise to me. He dipped them in ranch and felt much better about them. Maybe it was the to-go timing, but the macaroni and cheese bites were soggy and not crunchy. The flavor was still really good and I'd still get them again. Try this place! For real. I'm just sad that it's a bar because I'd love to dine in when restaurants open again but kids. It was much less busy than the other location which was great. And the service was great as well. But the food just wasn't quite as good as we were all used to. The customer service here is spectacular! From the host, the bartender, down to our server Christian, everyone was so nice and friendly! I was there meeting up with a few friends visiting from Dallas. I forget this place is a bar, so I just walked in, gave my buddy a squishy hug and talked to him for a couple of minutes just catching up. By the time I turned around and realized I needed to provide ID, she just smiled. I'm grateful she didn't interrupt my entrance lol. There are 8 pieces and only 1 flavor you can choose from. Our server said I can buy the sauce separately and the wings will come naked. Ew. It just wouldn't taste the same. This was my first time eating here and at first I was pretty impressed, the outside is really nice, when we got there we were welcomed by a host and then went to join our friend who had already been seated. It took a long time before we even got menus. Not sure if they were short staffed or what..... When we finally got our menus our server set them down and left again. Not even taking our drink orders. She finally came back and got drink orders. The guys I was with ordered beers and some mixed drinks, I ordered water and the friend macaroni and cheese bits. Our server asked if I would like the spicy ranch and I requested that I get normal ranches instead. She said that wouldn't be a problem. She was very friendly.... when she was around. Time went by and she brought out the beers and mixed drinks to the guys- spilling one drink on the table. My husband made a joke but then she just walked away not even offering to clean it or grab a towel? I did not receive my water. She came back a few minutes later to bring the Mac and cheese bites and ask if the guys would like another drink. Before I could catch her she walked away. My Mac and cheese bites came with the spicy ranch and i still did not have a water. Finally when she came back with their mixed drinks I was able to request a water again. We waited a LONG time for our food to come out, after waiting awhile our server came to tell us that a large to go order was placed before our order got in and that's why our food was taking so long..... she apologized and said there was nothing she good do. Shortly after that she brought our food out? It may had even been done before she gave us the bad news? I can't imagine 4 peoples Different orders were all done at the same time? Maybe she didn't notice our food sitting there waiting to be served? Shouldn't the people inside the restaurant be a priority? Now the food! One thing I appreciated was her suggesting I order my wings plan with the sauce on the side so I could try multiply sauces. I'm not sure if this cost extra but I like having 2 separate sauces to chose from. I ordered boneless wings with the Jamaican garlic Honey Sauce and the BBQ sauce. Mild! I loved the Jamaican sauce but the BBQ was nasty. I ate all My veggies and about half my chicken. The chicken was over cooked and dry. Some parts so dry I couldn't even chew them. Best wings in Utah, hands down. Incredible flavors to choose from, multiple levels of spice. Wings are grilled and crunchy. Been here 5 times so far and every flavor of sauce has been excellent. The wings are very well sauced. 4 of the 5 times have been takeout and the wings hold its quality the entire way home. Fresh and delicious... we get 3 orders of 12 piece bone in wings every time for a very reasonable price. Call in and your order is ready within 20 minutes. My husband and I are very critical about wings, and we've tried just about every wing restaurant in Salt Lake County. We've also had wings in SoCal, New York, and Mississippi. TWC is still our favorite. TWC, whatever you're doing, keep doing it. It's hard to find a restaurant with this level of quality and consistency in the midst of COVID.
