We came here because Trolley Wings was closed. Unfortunately, the wings were cold when we got them. Usually when we go to wing spots, celery and carrots are included, but we didn't get any here.

We went here late on a Sunday and were surprised that the entire menu was fried. The service was very wanton. No smiles, no interaction that wasn't 100% necessary. Cafeteria tables and a quasi bar feeling with skiing decor. We ordered wings, onion rings, fried green beans, and fried mac and cheese bites. The wings should have been outstanding as it's their hero dish: Wing Coop. Wrong, they were all different sizes and very dry (I am sure the varied sizes contributed to that). The mac and cheese bites were awful! The onion rings decent, and surprisingly, the fried green beans were pretty good. We will not return.

These are supposed to be garlic Parmesan and they are clearly normal hot wings.

They gave me the wrong wings and I can't eat them. They said 20 minutes and weren't ready on time. The staff was nice though.

Fries, nacho fries, mango habanero (bottom left), orange jalapeno (bottom right), rasberry Chipotle (top right), and honey BBQ (top left)

The wings are cooked well. However the sauces need more variety. Mix it up more. I probably wouldn't return without a better sauce choice.

Great wings no matter if you like bone in or boneless! The traditional sauce is the bomb as well as the spicy garlic!

Enjoyed all their flavor options and the server let me taste a sauce I wasn't sure about. The wings were well-sauced and delicious!

The jalapeño poppers…read morewere easily the highlight--perfectly crispy, stuffed just right, and wrapped in bacon that hit the spot. The cocktails were also on point, super well-made and balanced. For wings, I'd recommend sticking with bone-in. Those had great flavor and quality, while the boneless unfortunately felt more like chicken bricks than wings. Pricing is on the higher side, so just be prepared for that when ordering. Overall, great drinks, incredible apps, and a solid spot for bone-in wings. If you're a cocktail + poppers kind of person, this place will definitely deliver.

The wings themselves tasted just ok, baked not fried. The sauce you can order all sorts of different combinations and heat level, I got Carolina & Honey w/ hot spice level. It was one of the mildest blandest sauces I've tried. The price was also kinda high at $17 for 8 wings. If you go here and want to try spicy just go for one of the 3 choices at the bottom (Carolina Reaper, Habanero or Ghost) and just stick with it even if they try to talk you out of it. But I still think wing coop is king.

I usually get…read morefairly basic pizzas (sausage only, pepperoni only etc) and their cheese and meats are great! I also REALLY like their garlic knot appetizer. It has the right amount of garlic, which is a LOT). When I open the box (when I get it to go) you can smell it from 50 ft away. The garlic is freshly grated and the oil isn't drizzled on top but doused (which I also love; seriously there is so much oil that in the to go container it sloshed around but thankfully doesn't leak through). The vibe is also very laid back. This can be a pro or a con depending on how busy it is. If they are busy and you are looking for a fast meal and multiple refills of your soda you aren't likely to be happy. If you are looking for a place to spend and hour or more hanging out with friends drinking a couple of beers and eating good pizza you will love this place. I've been to Spedellis in both circumstances multiple times and it's way more enjoyable when having the time to sit and enjoy it. The reason for 1 less star than max is the slowish service when fast would be nice and also their chicken wings appetizer. As much love as I give to the garlic knots...the chicken wings I do not recommend. They are small, you don't get many, and they are drastically overpriced. I like Spedelli's a lot and recommend going there...just not for chicken wings

Despite some videos to the contrary, I'm not really a wing guy and I can count on my fingers how…read moremany actual wing places I've been to, ever. This chain is in the midst of a quasi-rebrand, with them finally putting their wing sauces onto fried chicken patties and getting into that whole game. It's a smart move, but one really dependent on both how good the sauces are and how much they're liked. Prior to this, I'd never been to one and they don't do a great job of broadcasting what components are in their sauces, so I was a bit wary, going in. I don't eat-restaurant these days, like at all, so I ordered online, then drove there, arriving a good 5 minutes before the earliest time the site said it would be ready. There really shouldn't have been enough time for things to get sogged, but both the wing skin was soft and the fries were limp, which suggests they could have used a bit more cooking time...or they were both fairly old to begin with. I should also add that I ordered fairly close to the place opening up, to try to lever things as much as I could. It was, however, waiting for me once I got there and possibly well before that. Anyway, that aside, I had the Atomic wings, which were the spiciest the chain offers. Non-crispy tone aside, it had some interesting flavor elements, both with Habanero, the usual Buffalo flavor, along with some odd Asian spice notes. Not entirely clear on how these are put together, but I recommend ordering them extra crispy, if you're like me, and get extra sauce, as they were a bit stingy on that. Spice level is enough to give non-chileheads a bit of a run for their money, something to keep in mind with the sauce. Might be better off trying it on their new fried chicken patty sandwich menu. The wings themselves are on the larger size, quite impressively, I must say. Definitely good value for the money, if they were just prepared right. As for the fries, they were Louisiana Voodoo, which should have been a lot better than they were. Seasoned soggy fries, cheese sauce on some of them, and what appeared to be dried herbs (Cajun seasoning, I suppose). There was some nice and unexpected heat to the fries, but it was relatively minor and the flavor overall is not something I care to repeat. Order these extra crispy, also. There is a Coke Freestyle machine there as well, which was nice to see. All in all, I can see the potential, but as for my first visit, this was just kind of...eh.

I made a mental note to check it out and then...didn't, for a really long time. Partly because I forgot and partly because that's one of those few places that held memories of a time past and events have largely conspired in a way that they never will (or can) again. So, to my regret, this created a sort of aversion for quite a while. Here and there I'd drive by it and think that it looked open and I should stop, but it can sometimes take a while to overcome hauntings, I suppose. Anyway, I did manage to venture back, to see what they'd done with it. I'm glad they kept it a bakery and didn't even change the signage. It still reads French Bakery, but man, Pierre left some really big shoes to fill. I'm happy to report that though the display cases have been sized down a lot, in terms of what's on offer, what is there is gorgeous and on a level exceeding that of Pierre, which I found kind of mind-blowing. I wound up getting a pretty good selection of stuff and happily, the taste lived up to the appearance. The croissants were moist and flaky on the inside, with the sort of layering effect that only the truly skilled can achieve, while the crust was perfectly golden brown and crispy. The Danish I had was easily the best I've had. Ever. An absolute delight that there is no way I can think of to improve. I'm really thrilled this is still around, though I miss some of my old Pierre favorites (like the breadsticks, but maybe they rotate stuff on different days or something). The inside has changed enough so that it is not a mental punishment when I walk in, which was not intentional, but which I greatly appreciate nonetheless. This is definitely its own thing, while still retaining a lot of charm and stunning quality of Pierre. Definitely, this is a must.
